We felt this property exceeded our expectations. It is a comfortable and tastefully appointed home with thoughtful spaces to gather as a family or to relax quietly alone. The outdoor space is the perfect spot to relax with an early coffee and listen to the birds. The home was well stocked with all the things a family would need for a long week on the North Shore. It's 5 mins from grocery and light shopping. 10-15 mins to Hanalei Bay beach. It was comfortable, quiet and jut perfect for us.

This was a nice property with ample space for our family. We enjoyed the big backyard, hammock, deck, the kitchen and window seats. We had hoped to use the bikes, but all the tires were really low and we only had a small window of time to use them, so it didn’t work out. We wish we would have thought to check the tires sooner. The location was a little less remote and more suburban than we expected, but it was a nice neighborhood and a convenient location for our north and east shore activities.

The house is so well stocked and clean. The view from the outside patio was excellent and all our meals were enjoyed there listening to the birds and soaking in the beauty of the Island. The beds were very comfortable with quality linens. The kids enjoyed the big screen in their room upstairs and the window A/C unit they had provided plenty of cool air for the humid nights! The beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, coolers, etc. made our time on the beaches great! The location of the house was great for exploring the numerous beaches within a 10/15 min drive. Thank you so much to Teddy and Andy for sharing your home to make such a memorable and relaxing week for our two families! Having respite from snowy Montana is just what we needed!

We absolutely loved the house and location. It was perfect for our family. House had everything we needed and more. We had a mix up with the keyless entry at arrival, but the property manager was super responsive. I’d absolutely stay here again!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this property during December 2022. Our week started with rain, and this was a lovely house to hunker down in. It was clean, spacious, and had plenty of games and puzzles to keep us entertained. When the weather cleared, it was a great jumping-off spot for going into Hanalei, snorkeling at the beach in Anini, and hiking nearby trails.
The property manager, Thames, was a wonderful guide to the island. He took time to tell us about nearby activities with updated information about trail closures, and even took us on a tour of the neighborhood, showing us the best trees for picking fresh fruit.
We would happily stay here again!

Aloha! Our family stayed in this lovely home in Princeville, Kauai for an unforgettable month. We wanted a place that felt like a home and less like a transient rental and this place was perfect.
The house has all of the creature comforts (like smart TVs in every room) and is supplied with everything you could need (especially the kitchen!) and is tastefully decorated. We had 4 adults and 2 kids (2 in the master, 2 in the guest room, 2 kids upstairs) and we never once felt cramp in the home. The backyard is spacious and has the most delectable outdoor shower (honestly, we showered outside most mornings just because of the view!) There are ceiling fans in every room and extra floor fans to set up to keep you cool throughout the night if the breeze outside is not enough.
I want to specifically point out how incredibly well stocked the garage is in terms of "extras" for the family - you will find snorkeling gear and fins, 6 new bikes, boogie boards, chairs, an umbrella, outdoor games (like badminton) - everything you could possibly need for a fun vacation in Kauai.
The owners and property manager are exceptionally kind and quick to respond. We noticed at one point we were losing hot water and (I kid you not) Thames was at the house to address the issue with 10 minutes of my first text message to him and had the matter resolved within a couple of hours.
The neighborhood is quiet and everyone is very respectful since doors and windows are left open constantly for the amazing island breeze. Be aware though, there is no street parking AT ALL. This is in part to keep the streets from filling up with tourists trying to get to the hidden beaches in that area (which I appreciate). If you want to see Queens Bath, ride the bikes, have someone drop you off, or get there exceptionally early because there are only 5 spots in which to park. Access to Sea Lodge Beach is walkable, but its a hidden path, so I recommend asking Thames.
There is a farmers market every Saturday at the entrance of Princeville, and a grocery and boutique stores right outside the neighborhood. Ten minutes down the road, you'll find the amazing Hanalei village and Hanalei Bay with only locally owned and operated boutiques, surf shops, eateries, and shave ice! I cannot recommend this home enough if you are looking to stay in Kauai.

Nice location and home feeling
The home was as described. The numerous windows let the beauty of the surrounding outdoors in and the back deck was the perfect spot for meals, even on rainy days. Beds were comfortable and the equipment for the beach was a plus. A few suggestions are to get blinds that work as the humidity makes the strings on the blinds inoperable, also, the bedroom upstairs is a safety issue with the low slopping ceiling. Anyone over two feet tall banged their heads a few times. We had a few maintenance issues upon arrival that needed to be taken care of and they were addressed quickly. With the nonstop reservations for the home the flooring inside and out take a beating, not sure what can be done to address this. Ahh, and the roosters, you will soon find out what that is if you stay!🙃 We would stay again and are grateful for the opportunity! Mahalo

Wonderful home, great location
We stayed for 10 days with family - the upstairs room was perfect for the kids with a large screen TV and many beds. There's a fully stocked kitchen which made meal times easy - we cooked most nights at home and ate together on the beautiful back patio which has a terrific view of the mountains. The house was great, fun stuff for the kids to use at the beach (boogey boards & snorkels) and Thames, the property manager, gave us many useful and fun suggestions for things to do and see, and local restaurants. We had plenty of space and the outdoor back patio was a great place to relax after a day at the beach. The outdoor shower was also fun and super useful. The house is centrally located in Princeville and a close drive to local beaches and restaurants. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Princeville home
This property was a dream. A beautiful, clean home in a quiet neighborhood was just what we needed for our Kauai vacation. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed for cooking meals there. We made ample use of the outdoor shower and bikes available to pedal around and to the beach. Teddy was helpful and kind in our interactions making check-in and check-out simple. I would highly recommend booking this property for your next family vacation to Kauai's north shore.
