Come home to some of the best views in Hill Country at this villa on a lakefront family vineyard. A staircase leads to the lake, where you can hang out on the boat dock, float in the water, and tie off your boat after a day on the water. The home is on one of the deepest coves of Lake Travis - the water is currently 45' deep below the boat dock. You'll be about 35 miles from downtown Austin. Taste test your way around well-regarded bars and restaurants, catch some live music, and be sure to visit the historic Texas Capitol. Head to Marble Falls to pick up a bottle of wine at Flat Creek Estate or a bundle of berries at pick-your-own Sweet Berry Farms.
You have two beautiful views with vineyards on one side and the lake and Hill Country on the other. Walk into the living area, with vaulted ceilings, a TV with a DVD player, and an open-concept layout that includes the kitchen and dining space. Large picture windows facing the balcony give you lake views from every spot! From the living area, a door leads to the terrace with an outdoor table before that gorgeous view. Watch the boats go by, and when night falls, watch the lights illuminate Lake Travis. In the kitchen, find a beautiful Silestone wraparound counter and all appliances, including a toaster oven, electric skillet, and dishwasher. The living room has a door to the balcony with seating around a table.

Pros: vineyard on one side and Lakeview on the other. Duplex was clean. Tv has vizio so you can watch movies. Wake up to the birds chirping and flying into the window.
Cons:
1.this rental needs a book that tells you about the property and things to do in the area.
2.check out is early (10:00) and we had to strip the beds. That is ridiculous.
3.i thought the pictures were misleading. I assumed the stairs to the boat dock were in front of the rental but they are shared with everyone the property. Also the stairs are probably 3 flights up and part of the way is without a handrail. If we hsd children this would be terrifying.
4.i had to call the vacation management company to fix the front porch light. The back door does not latch. Needs to be fixed. Clock doesn't work. Needs a battery.
5.yes the kitchen has SOME essentials. We had to go to the store for baking spray, foil, etc.
6.every room needs something. The decor does not match. The primary bedroom could use another nightstand, lamp, luggage rack in closet and hooks on wall.
I wanted to give this place high marks, but ive stayed at places that deserve 9 or 10 stars and they do better.

My wife, daughter, and I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and loved it. Private and secluded but not a bad drive to restaurants. Great views and very comfortable.

Picture the Texas Hill Country. Now throw in a vineyard. Oh, and Lake Travis. You just need a stop at Smitty’s in Lockhart for the world’s best BBQ. You too can have it all.

We all enjoyed our stay. The property guidance signs are small so it’s best to arrive before dark.
We even saw a deer pass by the property!
There was a grill outside and the heater worked great inside for the chilly days. We used the tabletop toaster oven and counter cooktop for anything else we needed. I wish there was a good tea pot or tea kettle. Also, as frequent travelers, we like trying local coffee but we don’t always want to buy a whole bag of it so a small sample available to use in the coffee maker would be amazing. The major fully stocked local grocery stores are 20-30 min away.
The view is great, remember it is lakeside so it will be on a slope! The walkway to the house is steep and with really low lake levels, the stairway is a mini hike down to the water. Feels like you’re in the middle of nature but still with a distant view of the city. We enjoyed a bottle of Chardonnay at the Chardonnay, cheers!
Would absolutely recommend and stay here again during the spring time - want to see the colors when everything is in bloom!

Great location (pay attention to instructions on where the property is versus GPS). Very calm and peaceful and the entire experience was flawless.

Awesome! Very relaxing & beautiful!

Stayed with our boat. Great place to tie off. I would not do it again though unless a closer ramp was available. We ended up having boat troubles and it was not nice to have our trailer and the ramp so far apart. It has a nice swimming area. The doc is a serious climb, 122 stairs for just the 1st part. We tried to not forget anything when we walked down, but did a few times! We have a hardtop and a dually. We had to park before the gate. The street leading to the property is more like a long driveway just so you know. You may want to bring your own drying towels and paper towels. They have one towel with the normal cheep paper towels. The porch is really comfortable with a nice view. It would be a great place to rent out if you needed both units.
We really enjoyed staying here!
For Vacasa, we called to ask a question when we checked in. We waited for 10 min and had to give up. The fridge needs to be elevated a little bit. You can take off the skin on your toe as you open it. It would be nice to have a lamp in the bunk room. It would also be nice to have several towel hooks. Pretty ridiculous also that we are asked to clean up the sheets and towels. Under the beds are pretty dusty. Not cool to reach back there when toys fall. The rest of the place was clean.

Loved this house. The view was amazing and the house was clean. The location was perfect. The keypad on front door was not working so we had to contact them in order to get into the lock box to get the code to the key. A few recommendations would be to keep extra trash bags. We weren’t really sure what to do with the full trash either since there were not trash bins outside anywhere. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back.

Amazing stay at an amazing property! Very clean, great views, and very quiet.
A few cons though ( however these cons are so minor that it won’t prevent me from booking this again):
-faucet in the bathroom very loose
-wish there was a washer/dryer in the unit
-the front door lock was a tad difficult to use and the code never worked for us (we had to use the spare key)
-better pillows… they’re all flat so I ended up using the decorative pillow from the couch to sleep on
Other than that, perfect place to stay! You won’t regret the views and the peace and quiet that you’ll get, when booking this property 😍

The views were amazing. If you want to truly get away from the hustle and bustle, this property is it! With that said, it's on a steep incline, so not a good choice for people that may have issues walking up and down a steep sidewalk or down steep staircases to get to the water. There is no oven - only a countertop toaster so plan ahead. And bring your own coffee, there's no Keurig - only a conventional coffee pot. Lasty, bring your own bag of ice and some extra trash bags. The trash can in the kitchen is pretty small and there's no ice maker in the freezer.

Overall is good. Accurate description and nice view and enjoyed the stay. However, the incorrect check in instruction provided by property manager. The manager should be more proactive if the text content were wrong and should give a call to check on the visitor. I spent time at late evening to figure out the wrong instruction while with my elders standing outside in cold weather. Until reached out to the property owner onsite to get in touch with the property manager. The other visitor at next room had the same check in issue so I found out I am not the only case.

Clean, spacious and off the beaten path. Paved path to the house with a fairly steep grade.
We didn’t cook but had all we needed for light breakfasts and evening beverages.
Thanks for the hospitality.

Very nice place

The view was pleasant, and there was a fair amount of space. Some of the dishes were dirty and the pans had the non-stick coating scratched off. Would have been nice to have a can opener somewhere in the apartment!
4.7
The place is absolutely beautiful and has beautiful views. It was clean and comfortable. Swimming was wonderful, the water was beautiful. There were some cons however.
The parking is a little ways from the house and there is a steep incline getting down to the house and getting back up, this make it difficult unloading so I suggest you pack light.
Getting down to the water is difficult and a little scary, the stairs are steep and very long and missing half of the hand railing, this makes it scary and quite dangerous. You need to be in pretty good shape to get back up the stairs because there are a lot of them.
Overall it’s a really nice place and we enjoyed it.

We booked this last minute for 2 nights because of the dock access. Unfortunately one of our kids got very sick and we had to leave after only one night so we didn’t get a chance to test out the deck but we saw the deck from the water while on a boat and it has a great dock. Water is fairly deep at the dock even with the water levels down. So it’s 5 starts for lake access. The house is cute and plenty for one family. The beds were pretty good, kitchen had the basics. My only complaint was the cleanliness. There were quite a few large con webs behind doors and under furniture (we have a 3 year old so stuff rolls under furniture and has to be retrieved). The level of dust under the beds etc was an indication that they haven’t moved furniture to clean in at least a year. So if you have allergies you can notice some irritation in this house. Also there were random things that were broken - towel rack in the bathroom falls off the wall if you barely touch it, hinge doorknob on patio door falls off if you use it, bathroom door hinge is not attached to wall well so it comes off. Little things but these could easily be fixed to make the guest experience better. All that said though: the location is great and we would still come back. Great little rental and property is really pretty.

Views were amazing. House was very clean and the property was the perfect secluded getaway. We want to go back soon

Perfect place to have a girls weekend. Incredible lake view balcony with a table and chairs to relax with a glass of wine in the evening or cup of coffee in the morning. Villa was cozy and clean. Vineyard gorgeous. Full kitchen with cups, plates, pans, but need to take your own food, condiments, etc. Private access to lake but was quite a scary climb. Overall would recommend and come back again.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we'll return for sure. It's a secluded property with so much to offer. We cannot wait to return.

The views are beautiful. House was very clean when we arrived. Our main issue was that we didn’t receive all info before checking in. We were giving a gate code and that’s pretty much it. We arrived late and it is very dark on the property. We had no idea how to get to the unit once we made it through the gate. Had to call a 24 hour hotline to get info on where to go. Once we found the unit, we realized we didn’t have a code or any info to get inside. We had to make a call again. The woman was very helpful. Once inside everything was perfect. It was clean and exactly how the pictures appeared online. Since we got there so late we didn’t see the amazing views until morning; beautiful. It says that you can swim off the dock. I did not feel that was able to happen. There is no ladder to get in/out of the water. If you have little ones or elderly it would be difficult. The stairs leading to the dock are very steep. We found a place about 10 min away to go swimming. On the day of checkout we received a message with all info that would have been so helpful on our check in day. Very peaceful and beautiful views. I would definitely stay again

Gorgeous views, a peaceful location, clean and comfortable accommodations, a responsive and helpful property manager, and the gregarious owner who tends his vineyards daily make this property outstanding. As a 65-year-old, I relived joyful times in a Senior GalPal Slumber Party with several friends who stayed overnight in the room with a double bed on the bottom and twin bed on the top bunk. The time was unforgettable, and we decided to make it an annual event. I'm so grateful for the family that built and made this place available for people like us to share!

I stayed 2 nights with my daughters and we had so much fun. The views are beautiful, the property is so quiet and I felt really safe. We grilled out and cooked meals, played games and watched movies. We also hung out at the boat dock too. Really a relaxing peaceful getaway for me and my family.

We had a great time at Chardonnay Haus/Lakefront Villa in Lago Vista. We rented a boat from Trevor nearby on the lake using Boatsetter App. We fished Lake Travis and enjoyed a day trip into Austin to visit the State Capitol building and Bob Bullock History of Texas Museum. Great place to stay.

Comfortable condo with wonderful views of Lake! The condo was a little dated & needed some TLC. But, overall experience was great! Liked the location & great balcony!

Lovely lakefront property on a vineyard
We absolutely loved this property and our stay! From the 2 bedrooms including bunk beds for the kids, to the scenic back porch views of Lake Travis, to the fun climb down stairs to the private dock, all situated on the family vineyard. We would stay here again. Be prepared for sulfur smelling water though.

This property was perfect for what we were looking for. We were right on the water with a beautiful view. We were able to dock our boat into one of the slips while we stayed. The owners live on the property and are extremely friendly and give you all the space you need. They really made it feel like this was our home for a month.
