We enjoyed the cabin in the hills. It is easy to get to and close to both the towns of Lead and Deadwood.
The host communicated quickly with any questions we had once there.

We love this cabin - works great for our family with the 3 levels and bathrooms on each level. It’s a nice location- quiet with a deck to hang out on. Well furnished - we stay here annually.

The property was as advertised and gave us a view of deer in the surrounding area every morning with their babies. There was plenty of space for our family. We brought both sets of grandparents to experience time with our 1 year old daughter and to see all the Black Hills have to offer. All major site seeing activities were within an hour or so of this property which made it nice to get around. The hot tub was a nice addition to wind down after a long day on our feet. Beautiful property just off the beat and path. We would definitely stay here again.

Property and location were great. Woke up to 5 deer in the yard and when we packed up to leave we had deer almost jump in the truck to go home with us they were that close. We enjoyed the close attractions like Deadwood, Devils Tower and Mount Rushmore. Missed out on Needles Highway as it snowed 2ft the night before. So if that is interest to you make sure to go before the middle of October. 😁

Very nice place to stay, everything that we needed was there. Fit comfortable for our family of 9. Kids game room was a hit for our kids age 10,12 and 14. Loved that every floor had its own bathroom. Jacuzzi was nice! Reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was that there was no Wi-Fi I guess the router was broken or something wrong with it, good signal tho if you have unlimited data. Other then that, I would recommend this place for families with kids.

Every year a couple of girlfriends and I meet in the Black Hills for a long weekend.
We usually stay over by Hill City but this year we decided to try a place closer to Deadwood.
We were very pleased when we arrived. It was clean and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay.
Only a short drive to both Lead and Deadwood.
The owner was available through email and responded quickly to the questions we had.
We would stay here again.

6 of us friends tour the Black Hills every year. We thought we would try a different venue than the traditional campground stays of the past. Found this cabin and really enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend! Thanks

There was 4 of us with our motorcycles for the Sturgis Rally. It was a working vacation.
Kitchen was filthy. Plates, utensils, pots, etc. were in cupboards unwashed. Got a handful of bacon fat when grabbing a frying pan from cupboard. Stove top and kitchen counters had dried food, etc. on them. Bed on main floor had been slept in (or what ever in!) already. Owner said he’d “look into it”. Wow! Thanks for that!
Internet was non-existent. The internet hub in the cabin has a message center which records all internet transactions. Historic messages over numerous months indicate internet runs out around the 10th of every month and additional data after the 10th has never been purchased. Owner’s first response to me was to get Version to reboot the jetpack. I called BS and then he said he already purchased another 100GB. The internet never worked and the “additional 100GB purchase” was never recorded in the hub message center. He must pull the same routine on all his clients that stay after the 10th of the month.
Driveway is graveled and steep with water eroded trenches throughout.
The only service the owner provided during our stay was lip service. We paid 100% of rental, months in advance in good faith. Spent first day cleaning and used our phone internet data at our expense. I do not recommend staying here. We paying good money, with the promised service falling short, and then lied to. The owner clearly has limited respect for his clients.

This home is excelent. As a rental it is holding up very well. Beds are comfy. Baths are clean. Living area spacious. The gas fire places come in handy for rainy days. Kitchen has everything you need. I was surprised there werent more seasonings left behind from previous renters. Peaceful setting. If you have kids theres enough to keep them busy.
The community roads are dirt/stone which is common for most in the area. The biggest draw back are the obnoxious speed bumps. If you're on motorcycles they reek havoc. The HOA should consider leaving a 2' opening in the center to pass thru.
Recent storms cause some hardship. Not the fault of the owner, but the driveway had runoff ruts which once again are dangerous for bikes. We were able to repair enough to get it and out. It also disrupted the aux cable box. Robert was quick to respond to all inquires and solved all our problems.

Did all the touristy things in the Black Hills including the Hiawatha trail and returned to this spacious home amongst the trees! We then relaxed and played games and soaked in hot tub on the deck. Morning coffee was also enjoyed on the deck overlooking the wild life.

We enjoyed our vacation stay at this home. It was in a beautiful setting and worked well for our family. There were 6 adults and a 11 month old and 1 year old in our group. Wish our other son and family could have made the trip as there was a game room that the boys would have loved. Thank you for enabling us to enjoy our time in the beautiful Black Hills! Would love to come back for a longer stay!

This was our second time staying at this cabin and it did not disappoint. The only issue that we really had was that almost all of the towels were either in the washer and the dryer. The towel that were folded in the upstairs bathroom were not clean and I ended up washing them with bleach due to what was on them.

I love that there are deer right outside the window. I love having all the amenities in the middle of the Black Hills Forest. I loved the pillows (better than mine at home). My only issue was how far we had to drive, but this place was worth it.

The cabin was very clean. Robert was very accessible and responsive when problems arose. Quiet area. Drive way was a little water washed out. The neighborhood install 6 speed bumps on the third day we where in the subdivision. These were not easy to drive over.

We were not expecting to have to shovel our way in, or try to find batteries to make the fireplace thermostat to work and we were very upset when for two days we babysat a hottub that never heated up. That was one of the main reasons we choose this listing. It is a beautifully built home and functional and we are questioning whether to come back???
