Great host. Fun house!

The property was as advertised. There was a strong weed smell in the hall outside the apartment.

Great place to stay for an event at the Link. We were there for the NCAA lax finals weekend. Host was great with some small issues we had. Easy to get to, parking right in front. would recommend to any larger group looking to have a great stay

Loved the place. Had adults and teens. Kept the teens busy and the adults could relax.

The inside is beautiful and exactly how it looks in the preview pictures. The host was nice and eager enough to answer any questions immediately

I was looking for a place to stay for the 6 of us (4 adults, 2 kids) We were in town to see the circus The game room is what sold me on the place , and the fact there was 4 bedrooms. Walking in was like looking at a party place. Lounge area and kitchen with bar type tables. And downstairs the arcade and second tv viewing area. Super fun for kids! The games were on the slightly used side, but all worked well enough for everyone to enjoy. We were sad we ran out of time to try the popcorn machine. We had a small issue with the toaster not working and our host was very prompt with his replies and offered to replace it the next day
One caveat would be that the place isn’t super soundproof and you could hear the upstairs neighbors walking around. This didn’t bother us, but if you’re a light sleeper I’d suggest taking one of the downstairs bedrooms
I appreciated that there were several fans and room heaters to adjust temperatures to your liking. We didn’t need them either but it was nice they were there
The beds were very comfortable. Coffee shop a half block away, neighborhood grocery one block away and beer/wine a short walk away

We rented the place for a little reunion. It was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably. We enjoyed catching up and playing games. The grill was a huge hit.

Not sure why one of the previous reviews says there's cameras. I can assure you there was none, so disregard that person's salty and immature review.
This place is solid for a guys trip or a family trip. We didn't spend a ton of time in the unit, but when we did, we enjoyed having stuff to do. The vending machine was a little odd, but whatever.
One thing to point out: bring ice. There is no ice maker, which we wish we knew. But not a big deal.

The owner has hidden cameras inside of the unit so make sure you be careful where you get undressed at. This owner is not to be trusted. He said he was canceling my reservation within a hour of me being there and refuse to let Vrbo give me my money back. The owner stays inside of the building watching form the top floor. I just feel violated and disrespected because I had a family member say she was uncomfortable because the camera seen her walk out the bathroom undressed. If you are thinking about getting a home away from home I believe you should look else where. HAVE A BLESSED DAY AND MAY GOD BE WITH YOU ALL. AND TO THE OWNER I PRAY YOU LEARN FROM THIS AND YOUR GUEST GETS TREATED BETTER THAN HOW YOU TREATED US. P.S HE TOLD ME NOT TO WRITE A REVIEW SO I Made sure I didn’t forget. THE OWNER IS A LIAR AND SCAMMER AND I WILL FOREVER STAND ON THAT.

The property is amazing and we had a blast in the house. Maybe I was expecting Philadelphia to be cleaner but there was trash all over the streets. The neighbors were fighting when we arrived and a couple senior members of our party didn't feel safe getting out of the car. Wasn't within walking distance to the city and no one felt safe walking around the neighborhood at night.

This property was a huge hit with the grandkids! The game room and bedroom space was great! The only concern was the breaker flipping because the games were being used. It left our refrigerator turned off overnight and a lot of food could have been ruined. A warning that that could happen when everything was in use would have been nice.

This is our 2nd time renting. It has been ideal for families of volleyball team during the long weekend of play at the Convention Center. We love the games, being able to cook our own meals and plenty of beds. There is very minimal soundproofing between the unit and upstairs neighbors so you hear them walking. The cleaning could have been a little better as the shower drains contained clumps of hair and the stair treads needed to be mopped.

I came to philly for a quick weekend trip to celebrate my Bachelor party. Hiram's place had plenty of space for 8 of us to sleep and all have our own beds. A few of us shared rooms but that was fine for my group. The king room downstairs is very nice with its own bathroom! The games were fun, however at times they would glitch and needed to be turned off an reset. The heat in the house was not able to be adjusted, but space heaters kept the space warm. The space heaters at times seemed to cut the power to the game room, but that was easily restored with the breaker box and unplugging some of the heaters.
The apartment was very nicely located and parking was easy on the street just outside of the place. We had 4 cars at one point and we were all able to park at varying times nearby the apartment complex.
Of note if you are in the upstairs bedrooms you can hear people walking or running upstairs so if that bugs you choose a downstairs room.
Overall great stay! Id stay again!

Great family stay
We loved our stay here! The host was an excellent communicator and went out of his way to accommodate us. All the neighbors were friendly, and we felt safe on the block. The Ninja Turtle game was a huge hit for my nostalgic husband and my 8 year old. We would stay here again.

Tons of Fun
Hiram was amazingly accommodating when booking the house, always available when we had a question, and the checkout process was the easiest of any other rental I've ever stayed in. Although the games were super fun and we had tons and tons of fun, two of the games didn't function 100%. The frame of the basketball net is broken, and it didn't keep count of the baskets made. The air hockey scoring device kept turning off. Although we didn't mind since we were just playing with kids, we did miss being able to keep score. With that said, it wouldn't prevent me from staying again.

Volleyball tournament
3 families selected this property for a long weekend tournament. It was ideal with all the additional beds to house additional team players, giving them a space to relax and enjoy each other’s company with all the seating areas and games.
The location made it easy to walk or catch an Uber to the convention center. We were thrilled with our decision to stay here over a hotel.

Playhouse
Plenty of space and games to play in this apartment. Only street parking in a busy, somewhat rundown neighborhood.
