About this house rental
This home is shore to please and the perfect home for your getaway. Located right on the bay so you can enjoy all this house has to offer with the lagoon right in your backyard. Sit out on one of the hammock chairs and enjoy the firepit or enjoy some time on the water and launch of the two SUPs (stand up paddle-board) or kayaks right from your own private dock (15' Fixed dock and a 16' Floating Dock), all provided for your enjoyment. Three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (Queen, Full/Full bunk, Full) with all linens provided.
Enjoy breakfast on the deck or the views from the dinning area with plenty of windows looking out over the lagoon. Stay in and fire up the BBQ for some fresh local seafood. Don’t feel like cooking (it is a vacation) within a short 1/2 mile walk you can enjoy some local delicious Italian food with a view of the bay at Sunset Seafoods (reservations recommended) or head to Stewarts (about 2 miles away) and enjoy something more casual and top it off with a root beer float or an ice cream cone. Want more options, jump in the car for dinner in LBI just 30 minutes away.
Whether you are looking to relax or play in the bay this house is sure to please. Includes everything you need paddle boards, kayaks, beach towels, all linens provided as well because who wants to pack sheets and towels for vacation. So much to mention like the enclosed garage and enclosed stairs to house with entrance through the garage so you don’t have to worry about getting wet when it's raining. You’ll just have to come check it out to enjoy all it has to offer.

Place was very nice, scenic.
Host is terrible - there was some wind damage when we were not present and host instead of taking accountability is blaming it on me and even held my security deposit. It is unfortunate after a nice trip to deal with this nonsense. Even vrbo representive tried to calm the host down and explain that it is not negligence on my part, but rather an accident/wind damage and host is not agreeing. There was damage cause by the umbrella on the deck that was OPEN PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL and neighbors even said they were surprised that it was open ALL week after last resident had left end of August. So obviously the host, Jay should do additional checks after people leave his property!!! Completely ridiculous. And then host says he will give ME a bad rating instead of taking responsibility for HIS negligence. Vrbo is trying to help me.

Loved our week, Jays house was just as described. So many water toys ! Loved the SUP’s, kayaks, crabbing and fishing.
Upper deck was perfect, grill was also great. Great area for walking and biking.
Union Market was close enough to bike, food and coffee were delicious!
LBI only about 30min, we loved it, went twice during the week. Would definitely return to this house !!

We were very pleased with everything about Jay's house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The linens and all towels were supplied, the kitchen was stocked with anything you would need and even a bunch of outdoor recreational items. I wish every owner paid as much attention to the details that Jay does.

This was our second year renting a property from this owner and once again it did not disappoint!! The house had everything you could need for the perfect relaxing getaway. When we weren't crabbing we were kayaking and paddle boarding. Our nights were spent grilling and hanging out by the fire pit. Making dinner was a breeze in the open kitchen/dining area, but when the weather was right it was best to eat outdoors overlooking the bay. Sunset cocktails by the bay were second only to coffee in the am watching the sunrise. Whether you're looking to stay for a weekend or a week this is the spot for you! This place was just what we needed. The home is clean with everything you need provided to you. The bay is in the back yard and has a dock to tie off your boat. We spent our days floating in the bay and taking our boat out. The owner is very attentive and responsive to any needs or requests. I would definitely recommend this rental. I would say we will be back again for sure!

More area activities (shops, boardwalk etc.) would be nice but, not much you can do about that.

Jay really is a superhost! Very responsive. We loved the property. So many rentals in Tuckerton are outdated this felt new and fresh and beachy!

Amazing House and Location
We loved our stay at Tuckerton Bay Retreat. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed - - the host (Jay) even purchased a blender in advance of our stay when we asked if the house came with a blender. Jay was super responsive and helpful. The location is great for water access and for walking your dogs. We have stayed at a bunch of VRBO's but this was by far the best yet. Highly recommended.
