First and foremost, VRBO should not offer this place for up to 10 people. We needed a stay for 9 people and this property appeared on our search.
When we arrived, the condominium offered at the most bedding for 6 people. When we told the property manager we were 9, he could only offer an inflatable bed (for 2). First, they could only provide bedding for 8 people, not 9. Second, an inflatable bed should never be offered as regular bed.
I really cannot blame the property, they told us they only offer spaces for up to 6 people and did try to help us with an extra. Props to them as well, as since we were very upset about the lack of space, the PM offered us a second appartment free of charge.
VRBO, please notice this place is not intended for larger groups, please review and correct.
Other than that the place was nice and clean and staff very friendly. One small detail, our appartment in the second Flor was (literally) crocked!!!

This listing sleeps 7, not 10. The owner was kind enough to provide a blow up mattress for our group though. Listing needs to be updated, so it is accurate. Stay was pretty good. Price was right for the accommodations. We stayed over New Years, so I understand it was an extra busy time. Property looks a bit nicer in pictures than it actually was, although generally clean and modern for this area and provided a safe and sufficient stay. The kitchen lacked some necessities like baking sheets, specifically. There is a washer and dryer which was extremely helpful because this was the second half of our trip. There was a lot of construction going on around the complex and across the road. Close enough to Quepos and Manuel Antonio area. Would be difficult to walk or go for a morning run, right from this property because of the surrounding road. There are two Scarlett macaws that you can easily see everyday on property, so that was neat, but no monkeys that we saw.

Our family recently stayed at this property and had a great time. Andres was great and so was the housekeeping team. They even did my laundry for me without me asking.. such a pleasant surprise to help us out. We highly recommend this property for your stay in Manuel Antonio. The only negative, if I have to list one, is that parking is not ideal. Most of the nights it was fine, but our first night there were too many cars for the property and parking was very difficult. Not the end of the world and the rest of the place and service out weighed this small issue the first night.

Returning to Motherland
The property was beautiful. I loved that it was secluded but close to town. The apartment was very spacious and accommodating to us all. The staff there was extremely helpful with giving us directions and helping us with our luggage. Andres who checked us in was extremely helpful with recommendations: he set up a ATV tour for us and it was AMAZING as well as restaurant recommendations. My 5 year old niece loved the pool area. We all felt extremely safe as they had a night guard out in the property. We would definitely consider coming back and staying here.

Beautiful property. Well managed and maintained.
We had a great experience in the Mellow Macaw Property. The property manager Andres was amazing and was really helpful with taxis, requests and suggestions on things to do with teenage boys in the Manuel Antonio area. Loved the washer/dryer inside our private condo. Great full sized kitchen to prepare breakfast and lunches. Beautiful jungle view out of windows of property. Everything was new and well maintained. Air conditioning in bedrooms only. (Not the main living room/kitchen area.) It only got slightly uncomfortable one night when dinner preparations were underway on the stove.
You will not be able to walk in to Manuel Antonio, will definitely need to drive. We used taxis which were easy enough to get. The pool and outside pool/lounge area did collect a lot of dirt due to current construction. The dirt didn't make it very appealing for me to go in pool, but my teenagers didn't seem to mind at all!
All in all a fantastic property that we would come back to, for sure!

Heaven on Earth!
This was our first time in Costa Rica. Our family of five including three teenagers had the time of our lives! The property is close to everything you need: the beach, local waterfalls, delicious restaurants, grocery store, local coffee shops, etc. However, you do feel like you are in the middle of the rainforest. You can hear the birds and monkeys throughout the day. It is a magical place for sure!
Andres is the concierge and he started helping us plan our trip a month in advance. He booked reservations to local activities for us, he told us exactly what we needed to take with us including the specific type of insect repellent an he had incredible suggestions for our family. We loved everything he recommended. He was available to answer any questions during our stay as well. He knows where you can find the best food and we had incredible meals for 12 days! Five stars for Andres!
The entire staff working at this location is PHENOMENAL!! The maintenance crew, the ladies who supply towels and take care of basic cleaning were fantastic! Incredibly friendly staff always available for anything you need. Ruben, Ivan, Mariam, Sophia and Karin became our friends during our stay. They always asked how our day was, they helped us find great beach spots and local delicacies that we enjoyed!
We were beyond impressed with our time in Costa Rica. Costa Rica is gorgeous but its people are breathtaking! Thank you Rio Mono Staff for making our experience unforgettable! It will definitely not be our last! Pura Vida was exactly what we experienced!
