Very nice place. Check in procedure was simple and explained very well in the welcome packet. The condo was very well stocked with the essentials ie paper products, pots, pans, dishes, some spices and trash bags. We had plenty of room and our kids had their own space. It is a short walk to the village (1/2 mile) and just far enough away to have some quiet time. If you're renting this in the summer, take fans as there is no AC. Being in a mountain community, AC isn't normally a necessity but we were there during a heat wave and it was pretty hot in there even though we took 3 fans with us. I gave it a 4 for cleanliness because there was hair in the upstairs tub and dust/hair on the baseboard heaters. But overall, I would definitely recommend.

We had a great time at Shamrock and would recommend this condo to others. Great location with the ski trails a short walk away. The condo had a nice kitchen with plenty of cooking implements. It was nice that the primary bedroom is on a separate level from the main living area. Check in/out was super easy. Our host was very responsive and helpful, and resolved a problem we had upon check in in a way that was agreeable to all.

The property was exactly as advertised. The walk to the slopes was short, just a few condos down was the entrance to the slope. We chose to take the bus from the village or make the short walk from Powder Monkey lift on the way home to avoid walking up hill. Kitchen supplies (crock pot, pans, dished) were plentiful. I liked having the master bedroom upstairs. The loft was tight but the younger ones loved it. We hope to be back!

Perfect spot for our family. We loved the set up. Who doesn’t love wood fireplace with snow falling, not to mention easy access to the slopes!

My husband and I and our six children ages 6-16 stayed here for several days of siking. We found the condo very well stocked with all the supplies we could need…..laundry detergent, hand soap, kitchen soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, shampoo, body wash, vacuums, crock pot, dishes and cooking supplies, ect, We even messaged the owners a few days before our arrival and they responded immediately. One huge benign for us was the mud room with plenty of hooks to hang ski gear. There were also multiple hooks inside the home to help with extra coats, gloves, ect. It wa a short walk to the slopes which was great with all our kids. It would technically be an easy ski out if there was snow on the trail. While we were there it was grass so we just walked down and back with no problem. We also had the fun experience of deer coming right up to the back deck on night. I would definitely recommend this rental and stay here again if we return to Snowshoe. The only drawback that you should be aware of is that there was no phone service. We had one day of working internet and that was all so, be prepared to “disconnect” when you go. I wish I had written down the house phone number to give out to family in case of emergencies but I couldn’t access the VBRO website to look it up or contact the owners

This place is perfect for access to Snowshoe and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There was no cell service so we had to check messages in the village. It snowed about 4 inches while we were there and it was magical!

This was an excellent property. It was just me, my wife, and our six month old but the place was large enough to accommodate a much larger group. There was a small hiccup during check-in with the lock/key situation but the owner was responsive and helpful.

Enjoyed our stay
Communication with the host was outstanding from beginning to end. The condo was nice, nothing fancy, but perfect for what we needed it for. Everything was well stocked. We rented it for the GNCC race. Would recommend for a small family looking for a cozy place to stay.

Amazing place to stay for your whole family
This place was amazing for our family. Plenty of room for seven of us. The bathrooms are updated and master bathroom is equipped with a big jacuzzi tub. There are TV's in every room for entertainment but the main feature was the fireplace. The wood is provided by the association and we used it. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who visits Snowshoe.

Great Stay, Great Location Perfect for a Family With Teens
My wife and I, our 2 boys and a friend of theirs recently stayed here. My wife and I had our own space upstairs, and the boys got the lockout room with pull-out couch, loft and most importantly, their own bathroom.
This unit was CLEAN, quiet and updated. Beds were comfy, furniture was comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed.
A quick walk out the front or back door to the slopes. A walk up the hill to get back to the unit was a good way to stretch out the legs after a day skiing (or you could hop on the shuttle to the Shamrock drop off to avoid the hill).
Owners were great to work with. Responsive and courteous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (and absolutely love Snowshoe).
Highly recommend!!

Wonderful Stay
The home was better than expected - from the pictures it looks a bit "dark" inside, but the lighting and opening the sliding door curtains really makes the space feel bright and homey. Tons of space throughout and VERY WELL stocked - many extras (first aid kit, salt/pepper/spices, kitchen supplies, large washer/dryer, plenty of wood, even reading glasses in the beside drawer!). Plenty of storage space for the things we brought. The furniture was very comfortable and the bed was soft yet firm. My son's favorite part - the 5 TVs! It's easier ski out than ski in - about 50-60 yds walk back up a slight hill - but, you can come up the stairs at Black Bear and walk straight across for an easier path. It's a short and easy walk to the village, or you can catch the shuttle. Staying in the village is great, but this location was nice and quiet (no snowmaking machines) and the the extra space you can get here is a bonus! We enjoyed our stay and would would be happy to stay here again next time!

Nice Little Condo
The condo is very nice. Everything seemed to be recently renovated and high quality. Bathrooms are super nice with a Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom.
The bedrooms are a little on the smaller side; there wasn't much room for luggage. Also the only real bed (not a pullout sofa) is in the master bedroom. There is a pullout sofa in the living room and in the downstairs bedroom. There is a rather comfortable mattress in the loft area for older kids, but we didn't feel comfortable letting our 3 & 5 yr old sleep there, because there is no railing to prevent them from falling.
Also, there is no dining table, so dining in was a little bit of a challenge for us.
Everything was pretty much provided from Kleenex boxes, and soaps to firewood, and a lot of gadgets that we don't typically see in rental homes.
The condo is about a 10-15 minute walk to the shopping area, ticket center and a little market.
Overall a great stay!

Excellent Condo
We enjoyed our stay at Shamrock 30. Wonderful set up for a family! The mudroom was amazing. We were able to keep all our gear in the mudroom and have plenty of space inside. It was a very nice set up and we hope to come back soon!

Great Property
We loved our stay. Lockout is perfect for adult children. Property is well supplied with all essentials, good location, within walking distance of restaurants and shops as well as the slopes. High quality finishes and furnishings. Loved it. Just beware, cell phone coverage is VERY limited at the resort.
