Enjoy everything this beautiful mountain region has to offer while retreating in the comfort of this bright, spacious, forested gem.

Food brings people together and this gourmet, restaurant quality kitchen will not disappoint. Outfitted with two refrigerators, two dishwashers and a commercial stove/oven/cooktop, chef or amateur will enjoy creating in this kitchen.

With available seating for 24 plus guests, this retreat provides the ultimate in gathering friends and loved ones together.

There are 6 bedrooms . Five of them offer King beds and spacious living space and the 6th (Bunk Room), accommodates 8 - 16 guests with 8 full size bunks.

Four separate gathering spaces provide access to conversation, games or TV/movie entertainment as desired.

Multiple decks and large patio provide endless outdoor enjoyment, whether grilling and relaxing, tossing a basketball, playing lawn games, bird watching or star gazing.

Wildlife viewing is abundant. Deer, elk, Javelina, rabbits, squirrels and woodpeckers are common visitors.

Unfortunately, this is not an 'event' site property and pets are not allowed.

Please know that our objective is to continue a constant effort to enhance and improve the property to optimize the experience for our guests…….a that includes for us and our family and friends!

Very nice. All had good accommodations. Could use some new cookware as in frying pans. Air conditioning was excellent & loved outside fire pit. Would come again in the future. Spacious & ideal for a large group. Thank you & we tried to leave everything perfect.

Spacious kitchen allowed us to work and be together making meals. We had options for sleeping arrangements and the grounds were perfect for visiting and playful family times.

"Friends and Family" was clean, the beds comfortable, and the wifi easy to use. There was enough room for the 11 of us at the dinner table. Kitchen had all the cookware and utensils. Porches and decks were nice to enjoy the cool weather. Basket ball court, disc golf, air hockey, and ping pong were all enjoyable and kept the young ones occupied. We will stay there again.

This home was perfect for our large family, we had my grandmother who is 90 years old all the way down to my son who is 5. Plenty of sleeping space for everyone, games for the kids, and close to activities for everyone! We had a great weekend

We had a wonderful time together on our annual family vacation, this home was the perfect size and layout for all of us including adults, teens, children, and infants. The kitchen met and exceeded all of our needs, the patios and the grill were perfect to enjoy the weather, the house holds plenty of conversational areas, the loft and game room provided lots of entertainment, overall a very happy experience for our family. Thank you!

Our stay at the White Mountain Retreat home was incredible! The property is in pristine condition and is perfect for any gathering! There is plenty of space and I was blown away by the detail put into caring for us. We had everything we needed to make it a great weekend. Usually my biggest concern is the kitchen space, but this property had no issue. The kitchen is INCREDIBLE and exactly what I would need when cooking for a large crowd. Not only was it beautiful, it was functional which was so great! I would highly recommend this to others and I can't wait to have more gatherings there in the future!

This house is perfectly set up for a large group. There is lots of space in the living room, the dining areas, outside, and in the game room for people to both spread out and also meet together. The hosts are aware of the size of groups using this property and have stocked the kitchen well for preparing large meals. It was beautiful inside and out. Less than 10 minutes to everything in town. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at the property for a work planning retreat. The house was clean and stocked with linens and kitchen appliances. We would stay here again. A hot tub would make it perfect!

This large home was perfect for our group of 4 families. The kids especially loved the bunk room and the air hockey table! The kitchen was extremely well stocked and the location was great as a home base for skiing at Sunrise and sledding in town. We would love to stay here again!

The property is very nice. There is a very well-equipped kitchen that made it very easy to cook for a large group of people. Plenty of dining space too with a regular sized table and counter space as well as a really long dining room table.

Our group of 17 spent 3 nights and 4 days in this magnificent place. Since we are a group who are steadily renting places a couple of times a gear I can honestly say the bedrooms in this cabin are huge compared what we’ve seen in other places.Kitchen is well equipped, 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers, 2 sets of washers and dryers, definitely set up for large groups. The back is huge and very nicely set up. We’ll definitely coming back.

We have been going to the area with our adult children and their families for years and this is the absolute best place we have ever stayed. I almost don't want to tell you how good it is because we are coming back! The home: clean, cozy, beautiful, well stocked kitchen, chefs dream, room for everyone and everything and oh, every bed is GREAT! We have stayed in nice homes where the beds were a bummer, not the case here. The property: HUGE fenced backyard with basketball and other outdoor games that provide tons of fun for all ages. The fence really lets you relax as your little wonder about, it's simply perfect, we had no need to leave the property to stretch our legs. We also enjoyed the gas fires inside and out. The host: very responsive, helpful and genuinely kind. We were treated so well down the smallest detail. if you stay here, rest assured, your host is personally invested in ensuring your stay is the best it can be! We had an amazing time and made another treasure trove of memories with our son and grandkids. We 100% recommend this home!

Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. The amenities were above and beyond. The chef’s kitchen was a joy to cook in, the outdoor basketball hoop got lots of use, the rooms were so spacious and the king size beds were awesome.

What a beautiful home. Pleanty of big enough for the 17 people we had in our group. The rooms are nice a spacious, the house was clean and stocked with what we needed. Having two refrigerators was so nice and the the stove and side flat top griddle was amazing. We enjoyed our stay and Peg the host was easy to contact and and quick to answer any questions we had.

Our two families enjoyed this spacious home and all of the amenities. The restaurant-style kitchen, with two refrigerators accommodated our large group. The home features two eating areas, plus spacious and comfortable family and living rooms. There are plenty of games for all ages inside and out and decks to enjoy the quiet wooded surroundings. We were close to parks, shopping, restaurants and more. This home is perfect for families and friends to gather while offering space for everyone to enjoy. We will definitely be back!

We stayed for a family reunion. We ran into an issue with the air conditioning and one of the refrigerators not working, but the host quickly responded to us, and offered generous compensation for the issues. The house was great and the location can’t be beat!

This house was prefect for our entire family of 16. There was so much room. We were not all crowded on top of each other. The kitchen was very large and had almost everything we needed. We did have a problem with the ovens on the stove not working. There was something for everyone to do, both inside and outside. We did have difficulty locating the outside games.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The home was big, comfortable and well laid out. The grounds were great, with decks , games and outdoor fire pit. The kids loved the bunk room and the game room. Indoor games for adults and children as well as toys and books.The setting was beautiful, and close to the lake. Only negatives, we could have used more mixing bowls, wash cloths, the ping pong paddles were in need of replacing and although there was streaming we had trouble getting cable on the tv, though they were working on it. Hosts were helpful and easy work with. We had a multi generation reunion and everyone had a great time.

We stayed at this VRBO to accommodate some of our wedding guests and ourselves. The property is amazing! We had such a great time and we appreciate everything the VRBO had to offer. There was room for everyone with lots for the kids to do. Feel of being out in the forest but close to town as well. There is lots of well equipped space both inside and outside. We had a wonderful family reunion!

Peg is the most amazing host! She replies so quickly to any need and goes above and beyond! This was the second time we've stayed here and again it was absolutely wonderful! It accommodates our large family so well. I really appreciate the gorgeous kitchen with two refrigerators and commercial stove, and the many beautiful bedrooms. This is the place to stay!!!

We had a lovely time. There are 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths downstairs, 2 bedrooms plus bunkroom, one bathroom, and a game room with ping pong and air hokey upstairs. There are lots of board games and outdoor games. It rained a lot on one of the days we stayed but there is an arcade just down the street along the main drag so we were entertained both at the house and while out and about. Loved the fenced in yard for our pup. Overall everything was great. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay. 4 families, 16 total and we never felt crowded. It is clear the owners care about doing this right. Too much snow so we couldn’t enjoy the backyard much but it looks like in non-snowy conditions it would be amazing!

This house has EVERYTHING! Totally amazing! Will definitely be staying there again! Upstairs was great for the young group with the large TV, sectional, ping pong and air hockey and bunk room that can sleep 16! Downstairs was equally awesome! Master on one side and two additional bedrooms on the other side. Enough eating space for 24 in the kitchen/dining area! Two dishwashers for large groups worked awesome! Beautiful backyard with firepit, nice deck/patio! Couldn't have been more perfect! I could go on and on!

We had such a great time! This home is large, but cozy and peaceful. We had 15 women and we all slept great and really enjoyed our stay. Our only regret was not staying longer...next time!
