About this house rental
Spacious home with two living areas perfect for large family gatherings. Well equipped, open concept kitchen with island and breakfast bar. Separate laundry area with HE appliances. Soak your stress and worries away in the master bedroom on-suite bath with large soaking tub, double vanity and shower. 3 bedrooms with Queen beds. (Additional rollaway beds available). We stayed in mid-August. The house is located about 5 blocks from downtown East Tawas and the marina/beach—an easy walk. The house is very clean, and very well-appointed. Plenty of cookware, cutlery, etc. They supply some snacks, a loaf of bread, eggs, milk, and water bottles. Each bedroom has a tv and Roku. Two living spaces. The owners were very helpful and responsive. We accidentally left an item, which they notified us about and sent it by mail back to us. We are definitely going to be staying here again! Thank you!!

Booked this house for my husband and his buddies golf weekend and they had a great time. Good location close to town. The house was nice, very clean and fully stocked. Great getaway with friends.

We stayed with our family consisting of 2 3 year olds and 2 infants. It was amazingly spacious, so clean, and they even set up a little tree to make it really feel like home. The accommodations were amazing and we will be looking to book this house again for any stay we have in Tawas. Can’t thank the owners enough for such an amazing stay.

My husband and I had an amazing time! Ida had wonderful communication the entire time we will most definitely be back! We relaxed a lot and enjoyed walking around town! Barnacle Bills was a great local pub and the food was fantastic.

I’ve stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this is the best one so far. Extremely clean. Well maintained. Stocked with everything you could possibly need. Great communication from the host. I really can’t say enough about how everyone enjoyed this property.

This home was so warm and welcoming and very, very clean and fresh. The additional amenities that were not listened were a welcome surprise. We planned to do some meal preparation and baking during our stay and the kitchen was very-well stocked with all of the basics. Ida, the host was very responsive during our stay whenever we had a question. One of our family members had already booked it for the holidays based on the pleasant stay we had. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful visit to their home. They think of everything to the smallest detail. Very well kept with super amenities. Owners should be commended. Do not hesitate to book this property. We could not be happier. Area is great and close to downtown and parks. People very nice. Everything you may need is close by! Loved it.

It was beautiful! There were a few boardgames, and other amenities that didn't have to be there but they were and it made our very busy stay relaxing because we didn't have to worry.

We were a party of five with several friends that came to East Tawas for the annual blues festival. The house was exactly what we needed!! It was roomy, very clean and comfortable! The garage worked out great as an outdoor gathering spot for all our friends to relax after a day of blues! The location was great too! We walked to the festival every day! It was a great place in every aspect! We’ll be back next year!

This home was perfect for our long weekend trip! Close in proximity to a majority of what Tawas has to offer. It was fully stocked with all of the essentials you can imagine! From snacks to toothbrushes, they were prepared if needed. I have stayed in many VRBO premier properties and felt this was one of the most clean and welcoming as soon as we walked in the door. My only recommendation of change would be a more comfortable mattress in the master bedroom, but that could just be a personal preference. We hope to return to this wonderful home next time we come the area!

This property was in a great location. Close to shopping and close to the local beaches. The extra amenities added to the house (snacks, shampoos/conditioners, items you may have forgotten) was just perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Very close to downtown area and beach area accessible by walking, biking or driving.
Many thoughtful amenities provided by hosts. The only thing I would change is the bedding was too firm for our taste as we prefer a more comfort level.

Stayed for a work trip for the week and I can’t say enough. Beautiful property, plentiful stock of cooking utensils and more than enough games and television entertainment access. It was a pleasure to stay even though most time was spent at work but when in the home it felt like home. Highly recommend for a stay in Tawas for any occasion.

This property has absolutely everything you need for a wonderful stay in the Tawas Bay Area! This lovely home away from home is FULL of amenities to relax and enjoy your family complete with a stocked kitchen, comfortable spaces for everyone to hang out, and comfortable bedrooms to retire to when you’ve maybe had TOO much family time and just need a little down time. It is super close to downtown, yet it in a quiet neighborhood. Our property manager let us enjoy the space without being at all intrusive but was super easy to get in contact with if we had questions. I HIGHLY recommend this property!

House was immaculate clean. We’ll equipped. Very comfortable. It is a “manufactured “ house and typical inexpensive construction and fixtures. Neighborhood is close to the lake and the village, but quite modest in character. Overall very good if you need to be in East Tawas which is a small friendly tourist town.

The couple weeks we spent in the house were two amazing weeks. They house was tidy and had everything you could possibly need. Best House I have ever rented and can’t wait to rent it again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was just as described and included many extras that many rentals do not provide. They provided snacks, water and some other food at check-in. It was clean and nicely decorated. We were close to town and could walk to dinner and ice cream in about 7-8 minutes. We were close to the boat launch and beaches. We would definitely stay again.
