This is our second stay and the house was great! There were new towels and we really appreciated the AC. My kid loves the upstairs room and the location across the street from Highland park is great for walks after work and during the day.

Friendly neighbors, restaurants and corner store were convenient stops

Three generations stayed here while visiting Rochester family. The space was comfortable and convenient. Off street parking available for three cars. Location only blocks away from a nice walking park and also a smoothie place down the street at the corner. Convenient to downtown but quiet and tree lined.
Highly recommended.

We only had three of us staying here for UofR's graduation weekend, so we had lots of extra space. It's in a great location for UofR and college town. Graduation fell on the Lilac Festival weekend, which is basically across the street. We did hit a little traffic because of that, but it was so easy to stop in and see the festivities. The house was very comfortable, and two full baths is a big plus. As others have said, it's fairly basic, but we had all the towels and other supplies we needed. Everything was in working order. The third floor bonus room with Ms. Pacman is a fun plus. The host is extremely prompt in replying to all messages. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

The house has just the very basics and no extras, but it was clean and manageable. Host was very responsive to questions and the location was perfect for us

Cute, very clean home in a quiet area. We appreciated that it was dog friendly. Super comfortable bed and little extras in the kitchen such as dish & hand soap, paper towels, even shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathroom. We could also pack light knowing there was a washer and dryer to use. Overall a great place to stay!

This is an older home near Univ of Rochester. The location was generally convenient for where we needed to be (RIT). Pros: The game/TV room in the attic has a Ms. Pacman game which was fun. The dining table was conducive to card playing in the evenings. The beds were reasonably comfortable, however, the fitted sheets didn't stay on well and bunched up overnight. Cons: there are limited to no amenities including kitchen towels (none), 4 plates (for a home with 6 beds), nowhere to sit/hang out in the backyard, couldn't figure out how to put the front porch light on, the downstairs shower could be cleaned better. You can tell this is a rental property.
The owner has provided the bare minimum or less in terms of essentials. All in all I am giving this property 3 stars because the fun attic doesn't make up for the lack of everything else. Although I value having rental properties as an alternative to hotels, I'm not sure I would stay here again; there would have to be no other options available.

This older house is comfortable, clean, and spacious for four adults. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and a great location close to everything downtown, a short walk and you are in Highland Park. It was perfect for our visit to the area!

The house is a lovely Rochester foursquare and exactly what we expected from the description and photos. It's in a great location, especially if you're going to be doing anything on the University of Rochester campus or if you're planning to attend the Lilac Festival (the house is literally across the street from Highland Park). My kids especially appreciated the third floor "rec room" type area with a television and an arcade machine.

We are a family of five, two adults, and three children ages 5, 2, and newborn. The third floor was a perfect play space for our children. The property is perfectly located next to Highland Park and within walking distance of several coffee shops and restaurants. We loved it!

We stayed 2 nights in Allison's sweet home. It's very close to campus & she was super helpful and communicative! It's such the better way to go than getting 2 hotel rooms. We had space to relax, play games in her cool kids loft and made our family's transition to college way less stressful! Thank you!

We went to the PGA Championship and the house was in a great location for the Championship parking as well as close to many restaurants. Plus you can park 2 cars in the driveway as street parking is limited. Allison was responsive right away if we had questions.

I liked this property very much, it is comfortable, roomy and surrounding area is safe and quiet. The only criticism I have is there were no spare toilet paper (almost ran out) and paper towels (barely sufficient), and no tissues in either bathroom hence using paper towels as tissues. There was no additional stock available that could be located. Also, as others have noted, why not add a few more coffee mugs in the cupboard. This being said, I would likely visit again. Please provide some spare stock of these cheap items.

Allison was very attentive and communicative. House has all the basics for an overnight. Spacious too!

We enjoyed our stay and found the house to be accurate to the listing. It was clean and decently equipped.

This is a very nice old home in a great location. The home was clean and comfortable. We would stay again.

A well maintained home with old charm and modern conveniences. We came up to visit our son at RIT, but we’re tired of hotels. This was perfect! I don’t remember if the park was mentioned in the write up, but it was beautiful, we walked over there each day.

The house was comfortable with ample seating to accommodate many more people than was in our group of 5. It's in a quiet neighborhood, a very short walk to restaurants and was conveniently located to our venue. I would have been nice if there were more items like coffee cups, one for each adult guest.
Overall, a positive experience for my first vrbo rental.

This home is full of character! All the living spaces are so welcoming and clean.
We were much more comfortable here, compared to staying in a hotel.

They house was clean, the kids loved the attic set up. Our only complaint was the front door only shut completely if it was locked and the interior doors door handle would not stay on. They provided the absolute bare minimum of towels, wash clothes, pillows. Also one of the queen beds was broken I think it was at an angle and we had to put our heads towards the foot of the bed to sleep. While none of these things ruined our trip it was a little inconvenient.

Our stay was perfect. The house was very clean and the neighborhood quiet. We were short walks from restaurants and short drive to our fishing charter. We appreciate that pets were welcome. We love dogs too!

The house was clean and well cared for, and exactly as described. It was perfect for us to have a place to stay while moving our son into RIT. It is close to U of R, but was still a quiet neighborhood. The parks across the street were nice for walking, and the playgrounds would be excellent for kids (our 18 year old didn't want to swing though!).
Allison was a great host and answered all our questions very quickly. We would recommend her place and may stay again.

Friends and I had a great couple of days. The place was very clean, and we had everything we needed. Lots of space to spread out.

Lovely place in Rochester. 3rd floor bonus room was a hit for our 12 year old son. We enjoyed short walk to Highland park and Lamberton Conservatory is a must when in area along with Sea Breeze water park.
Allison was a great host and deserves 5 stars!
Thank you for your hospitality.

We are from Rochester and spent 2 weeks visiting friends and family.
There was plenty of room for the 6 of us (4 adults, 2 children). Location is centrally located so it's not far from expressway or any of the suburbs, and within walking distance of some restaurants and Highland Park. Allison was quick to respond to our questions. Would stay there again!
