We had plenty of space for our family and enjoyed the two living rooms (1 on each floor)

This house was exactly what we were looking for when we booked it! We loved the size of the house, the setup, the view of the lake from all lake-facing rooms in the house both up and downstairs. The kitchen was well-stocked and made cooking easy. Our boys had a blast with the kayaks and loved being able to spread out downstairs in their own space. The location was peaceful and serene. Overall this house was perfect for our family and we would definitely stay here again.

We loved how much space there was on the property and inside the home.

I loved the place , the view is terrific, everybody was happy , very relaxing , I gave 4 star is because the house need some deep clean, the bed not that comfy , cabinet in the kitchen area need some repair , when we open it we didnt know its damage, the microwave hard to operate, the windows need a deep clean . But despite of all that the view is amazing.

The location was outstanding! Easy access to a cove for water skiing and tubing. With 2 families visiting, the room layout was perfect. Views from the home and dock were stellar. Kids loved the large paddle boards and kayaks!

The windows provided the perfect view and the AC kept us cool! Our grown children and spouses enjoyed the lower level sleeping and our grandchildren enjoyed the bonus bunk bed area! We spent the first part of day boating on the lake and the afternoon on the dock area enjoying paddle boarding. Only suggestion is adding cleats to tie boat. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

While everything in the house was great furniture and available space for our big group, the management company was terrible. Plates, dishes weren't clean, there were cobwebs in one of the rooms, the oven wasn't working properly, there was a cigarette butt in one of the couches, the internet is just a mobile hotspot which won't be sufficient to even stream or download anything even on one device. My phone internet had better internet. For what I paid, definitely not worth it. Not the owner's fault, purely the cleaning and property management group.

Nice layout but needs improvement to the internet service and the landscaping.

This home is a lovely modern house that looks better in person than it does in the photos. It’s spacious and comfortable and well built and decorated, with floor to ceiling wondows on both levels that look out to the lake. It’s both understated and stunning.
That said, there is not high-speed Internet in this home. There is Wi-Fi, but the highest speed we could get was .4 MB according to Google diagnostics. That is not high speed enough to run applications like zoom or video applications like Netflix or any other streaming services. I rented the house for two weekends and a week with the intention of working from here, which I could cobble together by doing Zoom on my phone which relies only on the telephone system, that worked. And then email and web searches from my laptop using the Wi-Fi which was slow and tedious vs. what we’ve all come to expect. I mention this because one adult had to leave and go back to DC to work because he simply could not accomplish his tasks at this low speed Internet service. Other things like downloading from the Cloud don’t work or trying to access a Powerpoint on a remote drive. I understand now this is common throughout Lake Anna and fiber cables are just being laid starting later this year. This is wonderful for a lake vacation, but be careful if your intention is to work from here and use technology that relies on high-speed Internet.
The home is gorgeous and clearly loved by an extended family. But there are a number of maintenance issues that should be addressed like power washing, landscaping and branch trimming, and exterminators to get after the bees and wasps which love with the boat house and the exterior trim of the home and are doing a lot of damage. None of that takes away from the charm of the lake, but should get addressed over the course of the summer.
We loved the kayaks, the dishwasher requires patience and is missing some wheels for the racks.
also, you shouldn’t say that it’s OK to cozy up to the fireplace when the fireplaces are not allowed to be used.
would absolutely recommend this home to others, and come here again. But the constraints should be honestly advertised and they are not.
Be aware that instructions for getting in were not clear, there was a hidden key box which was not detailed in any of the emails and the Wi-Fi password was also incorrect and required calling Vacasa to call the owners to get the right information.

Great property on the lake, suitable for a large family! We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, grill, fire pit & kayaks. Our only disappointment was not being told the canoe was out of service. - so inquire first if the canoe matters to you
Highly recommend this property!
