Solo me desagradaron 3 cosas
#1 La carretera para llegar es muy incómoda con senderos muy peligrosos y tiene un segmento muy amplio sin asfaltar.
#2 las habitaciones no tienen nevera
#3 que no incluyen el almuerzo en las opciones de reservas.

The view and the natural pools are awesome. Also the tour was very interesting.
The chairs in the room are not comfortable, except the rocking chair, and all tables are very low. It's very difficult to work.

This location is a short walk downhill from the beautiful pools. it is more peaceful for me worth the walk. the location to the National park is amazing and allows for excellent tours of the park via foot, small boat or kayak. no worries about making reservations the guides come every morning to the hotel.
the road to get to the hotel is very rough be prepared.

The view was excellent
The decor was beautiful
I was expecting a porch but my room did not have any.

Amazing view from the room
Helpful staff
On-site dining was tasty
The hotel offers tours of Los Haitises and kayak rentals
Very quiet at the end of the season (late April)
Loved the secluded feeling
Hard bed
Our deluxe room shared a door with another room and we could hear absolutely everything going on there
The restaurant pricing was confusing - sometimes à la carte (affordable), sometimes buffet (pricey)

We are returning guests to this property is a great opportunity to get away from the bustle and hustle of the busy beaches of bavaro! We love the rio and its falls. The menu could be more appealing, but great place to reconnect.

Loved our view and the water features of the property. The hammock on the balcony was a bonus and it was very quiet and serene. The food was also excellent.
The towels could be refreshed. wasn't clear if we could take our car up the back road to load our luggage when we left as there were several steps to navigate for our early morning departure.

Very exclusive location, overlooking the nature reserve
Not all staff spoke English, but it was still possible to make us legible
We were there during weekend/national holiday, there were a lot of external guests in the brother resort Paradios, was quite loud and made it impossible to enjoy the nature pools

I liked very much that they let us to do the check out after we came back from a hiking trip. The dinner was okey and the breakfast was good. The hotel give you a number of guy who doing the best trips around Los Haitises national park, take it and use it, you will not regret of that. We did with him kayaking, hiking, boat trip to the caves and it was stunning. Fully recommended. Don’t waste your time with agencies on internet, just book this place and you will see the best side of NP Los Haitises.
Could be hairdryer in the room

The location is just breathtaking. The food was amazing as well as the service. Everybody was very accommodating.
The only thing that I didn’t liked is that there isn’t room service and the restaurant closed at 8PM. There’s not a soul in miles and driving to the nearest city for dinner can be dangerous.

Everything even the staff are very friendly and very educated..

beautiful place, stunning waters, and building. Lovely bedrooms with balcony and hammock.
Apart from the pools, and a few hours in Los Haitses park, there isn’t a lot to do. but if just sitting by the pools is what you’re after then it’s perfect

The hotel is located inside the Park of Los Haitises. The place is surrounded by an amazing ecosystem. The rooms are amazing all rooms are carved with wood and named after birds that live in the area. The staff was kind and attentive to any of our needs. This is a hidden piece of paradise in the Dominican Republic. A must-go destination if you want to see the flora and fauna that have been preserved in the country.
Access by car could be challenging. If driving, an SUV is recommended. Unless you go by tour bus. There are not many signs to get to the hotel town but anyone in Sabana de la mar can guide you to it. Not bad just another adventure

Very beautiful hotel in a very beautiful place, thr staff were super nice as well.
The wifi kept disconnecting because of electricity issues that apparently take time to be fixed

A truly amazing experience. The view from the hotel is extraordinary, the staff among the friendliest and politest you can imagine, and the food delicious (try the fish in coconut sauce with tostones - it’s delicious). We also made an amazing tour with the hotel guide Wilfred - including a fantastic morning kayak tour, visits to caves and a hike through the jungle (all highly recommended). The rooms are clean and nice with beautiful balconies. It is great that you can use the natural pools of the neighboring hotel. This is a place you really shouldn’t miss when in Dominican Republic.

Many things. It's a very beautiful hotel in the middle of the jungle and the design of the hotel gives an authentic feeling (despite its concrete). The rooms are special and are also very pleasant. Besides the view on the valley is impressive. We did the boat and jungle hike that the hotel offers and it was really great
The music. Well we love music generally speaking but when sleeping in the middle of the jungle, which we don't do everyday, we rather listen to the birds and the forest of such a unique place. But they really like music a lot so that it's quite loud a large part of the day. On the second day, we were literally the only guests and had the music also for us alone. So we asked then to turn off the music which they did and said the music was for us. Well, that's nice but so I'm not sure whether they think that tourists are missing music or if locals (there were a lot on the first day) come to this place to listen to music.
Would definitely recommend this place either way 👍

It’s on a secluded place which is hard to reach. Expected a little bit more for the price

Nature at its best..
Nothing open after 8pm......nearest town is 10km away road is not good....and the town sabana is not a place for night people.....if you want night activity not the place for you...this is a day mountain nature cottage type hotel ..

Enjoyed mist if the time spent, specially the water pool and the serenity
A place where you want to go rest, listen to the water falls, the animals, the birds but whoever booked El Zumbador had an all night party blasting music until 245am and having conversations until 5am and where there were no securities to stop them?

The National Park entrance is a 15 min walk (or they give you a ride). The tour guide, Wilfre, is so fun and knowledgeable! We had an intimate tour for about 60% of the price of the 40 person catamaran tours that come in from nearby towns. We kayaked in the mangroves and to the lime islands and saw many birds up close (highly recommend). Came back in the afternoon to enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pools with waterfalls. Paradise!
Wished people and employees would pick up the trash. It wasn’t horrible, but a National Park should be pristine.

Excellent location. The national park is amazing
Highly recommend to take a kayak guided tour, jungle walk and boat trip to the caves and mongroves.
Communication in English is a bit difficult,

Great location, quiet and a chance to Kayak :)
Check your final bill closely. They wanted us to pay twice what they already put on our friends bill. Additionally they counted 2 times a meal of 500 Pesos instead of 1.
So just make sure you don't blindly pay

great place for relax!

The room was clean and i liked that the place was close to the national park, but otherwise i'm not understanding why this place has high ratings.
Fhe food was awful. I ordered a crab dish for dinner. It was full of smaller and bigger pieces of hard crab shells that are dangerous to swallow. Be careful eating there. Staff barely speak English. Taxi to the nearest harbor is very expensive considering it is so close. Felt like a ripoff, the car was half broken.
