About this apartment rental
We would like to welcome you to our newly remodeled, modern, 1 Bedroom, 1 Full Bath, Apartment.
The Bedroom has a King Size Bed and an 8 ft. sliding glass door that walks out on your own personal balcony with seating and lovely mountain views.
This 622 Square foot apartment sleeps 4 with a Queen Size sofa / Bed in the Living Room and a cot in the Bedroom closet with all the bedding on the shelf above.
There are 2 flights of stairs to access the apartment but the mountain views are much more enjoyable here. Note: ( No Elevator )
The building is located near Griffith Park where 3 freeways merge in Glendale... Interstate 5, U.S. Highway 101 and State Route 134. No matter what direction you decide to venture, you are close to an on-ramp.
A well maintained Swimming Pool is located downstairs with Beach Towels in the linen closet, 2 Lounge Chairs and Bench seating. Individual Chairs also surround the pool.
We have provided 100% Solar Heating but remember...
Most of the year the Solar is more than adequate but if you are visiting us in the winter, the water may be on the cool side. Our days may feel warm, somewhere in the 80's but the nights are long and cool leaving the water cool.
The 2nd level deck provides a reading / lounging area with 2 bench seats and a glass table with 4 chairs. Some of our guests choose to have their meals here!
Hot water for the building is also supplied by Solar but there is no need to worry about lack of hot water. We have 5 Large capacity Storage Tanks and a large backup, gas water heater.
Pay laundry facilities are available in the laundry room...Wash $1.50 - Dry $1.00
We supply you with detergent, spray stain remover and dryer sheets.
An under building, parking space is provided with lots of street parking as well.
We have a dual sided wall heater accessing the Living Room and Bedroom and a through wall Air Conditioner in the Living Room.
There are Remote Controlled multi speed with dimmer, Fan / Light in the Bedroom and the Dining Area
A fully equipped Kitchen has a full size Refrigerator, a glass, Flat Top Range / Oven, a Microwave and a Garbage Disposal. Sorry, NO Dishwasher!
Appliances include a Keurig Coffee Maker with pods, a Waffle Maker, Toaster, Blender Hand Mixer, and Crock Pot plus all the Cookware and Bakeware you may need for your own creations.

We had a great stay at this condo. It's very clean, nicely furnished and the bed was super comfy. My kids enjoyed the pool that was in the courtyard. Ray was easy to communicate with and brought up some quarters right away when I asked where to exchange bills to use the laundry machines. The condo is stocked with everything you'll need and a lot of extras - the milk, eggs and pantry items that were provided were a welcome surprise. We've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and have never seen these items provided before. It was much appreciated and made our first day in LA a lot easier. You definitely need a car if you're staying here - it's a short easy drive to Universal, and then, well it's LA - expect traffic pretty much everywhere! Parking was under the building and we had no issues getting our sedan into the designated spot. It's not a huge parking spot (this is a city!) so plan accordingly with what vehicle you bring, but it's covered and very convenient.

We stayed here for 6 nights and it was great. The apartment was clean and the location was perfect for our family vacation. Sandy and Ray have thoughtfully stocked the apartment with everything you could need for a short or extended stay. We hope to be back soon!

The property is lovely. Everything you need is provided. The hosts are wonderful and they don't ask you to do half of the clean up work after your stay.... toss your used towels in the tub and that's it! So refreshing for your vacation mode. The pool is warm and fun. Our family had a terrific time.

Great place! The communication was excellent, and the location was very clean and convenient. Universal Studios was just 10 minutes away.
The host provided some food so we wouldn't have to shop on our first busy day.

Communication and getting into the apartment went perfectly. The apartment was not as nice as the pictures. It was clean with the exception of mold in the shower, around the windows and the ceiling. There was a missing piece of the bedroom vertical blinds so the sun woke us up each day around 5am. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of blankets and towels. The ac blew so cold. The pantry and fridge were very well stocked as others have mentioned. The neighborhood felt safe but i would not call it nice. We saw a couple neighbors who live there full time. They were nice. All in all it was a good stay for the price.

Our whole stay was wonderful. The host left nice notes, a stocked pantry, and well prepared amenities. The location has lots of places to eat and explore in very close proximity. It was nice, quiet, and wonderful. Exactly what we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here if we come to Cali again. It's by far one of the best Vrbos we've stayed in, as far as location, the management and all the extras they provided.
The apartment itself is located close to all the things we wanted to do. We were able to get to Universal Studios in 15 minutes and places like the LA zoo, Griffith Observatory and all the museums were 20 minutes or less. The neighborhood was cute and felt safe. We walked to several nearby restaurants, including a good Cuban place and a cafe with a good breakfast right across the street. There was also a taco truck right next door every night with some really great street tacos.
Ray was a great host. Very responsive and helpful, and we loved all the extras they provided, such as milk, breakfast items, fruit, and snacks. We also appreciated how easy it was to check out. There wasn't a huge list of things to do before we left like most rentals often require, in fact, there wasn't hardly a list at all.

This place was great! It was well appointed, and just as described. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen that made it easy to eat in, and having a parking spot was such a bonus. We will definately stay there again!

This is a great place to stay because it’s so central to most everything you want to see in the greater LA area. Unless there’s intense traffic, it seems to be about 20 minutes to each museum, etc. Also, there’s some very nice restaurants, literally a very short walk from the apartment Cuban Russian and Japanese delicious.

Very good location and the price is not bad. Comes with lots of amenities and some nice surprises such as complimentary fruit,bottled/purified water and pantry staples. Ample bedding and towels with a shampoo/bodywash dispenser in the bathroom. All that being said i would not stay here again!! Between the passive agressive police that bothered my family while out walking after 9pm to some random chick in another unit coming to my vehicle parked on the public street to ask me to turn down the music lol. The number one reason being the odor that was present and lingered in the unit for the duration of the stay which was a cross between cat urine and a compost can.

Great location, Raymond was answering very fast all our doubts, friendly staff, very clean, and with some groceries to charge up provided inside the apt. Location was good and feels safe the neighborhood.

Excellent clean Apt exactly as described with very tinely and well detailed communication prior to arrival. We stayed upstairs and loved the balcony, bith inside overlooking pool and outside balcony. Pool was chilly (it was mid March and we were told it would be prior to swimming as it's solar heated) but we are from MN so it was certainly warmer than our frozen lakes. Included food in the fridge and cupboards was a super bonus. Great proximity, took us 10 minutes to get to Universal Studios. Highly recommended!

My only two negatives about this property would be the pool was NOT heated like mentioned in description. Or not heated enough if that was considered heated. It was a big reason we picked this place as we have two kids and that would have been great but it was to cold for them to even get in.
The pullout sofa could really use an upgrade as it was very uncomfortable and seemed like it was time to get new one.
The home was greatly stocked with everything you could need to eat and stay in. They even had some stocked snacks and other foods which was very nice. It was very convenient location wise being close to Universal Studios and other attractions. Overall, the pool was a big let down but other than that it was exactly as advertised.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Ray and Sandy's VRBO vacation rental. From the moment we booked, they were in constant communication with us, making sure we had all the information we needed for a seamless check-in.
The apartment itself was spotless, with every amenity you could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything from pots and pans to spices and condiments. Ray and Sandy even encouraged us to help ourselves to anything we needed, which made us feel right at home. These items included staple like milk, butter and eggs!
The location of the rental was perfect - close to I-5, Griffith Park, And studios. The neighborhood was safe and quiet, making for a peaceful stay. We truly felt like we hit the jackpot with this rental - a rare find indeed!

We had a great stay here. The room was perfect for the two of us. Clean, comfortable… a great little home away from home. The staff was great too, easy to connect with and even provided a little extra snacks for our stay. We had everything we needed, thank you for a wonderful get a way.

What a wonderful stay! Great communication from the owners and we loved the little essentials that they provided. Lots of space to spread out and very clean. Plenty of hot water for showers. The pool looked nice but wasn't used due to it being rainy and cool. An easy 10-15 min drive to Universal Studios and area restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Older apartment building that is well maintained. The location was great for us going to Griffith Park, Pasadena and Universal Studios. There is a lot in the area just a short drive away and convenient to major freeways.
The unit is comfortable and no detail is not thought out by the hosts. I found this stay even more hospitable than other short term rentals we have stayed because the hosts have the unit stocked with food and beverage and offer it to their guests: coffee, tea, cereals, snacks, apples, condiments, milk, eggs, cooking supplies, etc. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

This was a very convenient and comfortable stay for me during my week-long visit to LA. Ray and Sandy are great hosts, very accommodating and communicative. This unit contained everything I needed including a fully equipped kitchen and extra toiletries. The parking spot was a bonus as it made me feel safer about renting a car, and I loved pulling into my assigned spot, even though street parking in the area isn’t difficult. The parking space is not gated but the neighborhood felt very safe. The neighbors in the building were friendly. The view from the bedroom was stunning! I felt right at home.

The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay We celebrated thanksgiving here and were able to cook up a dinner for 4 comfortably It is not much of a neighborhood but if you are just looking for a place to sleep and drive to attractions than it is perfect Not much within walking distance Very clean and stocked with extra blankets, towels, coffee and especially liked the snacks and things provided Fresh apples, eggs, cereals, milk - way more than I’ve ever had at any other home rental Big plus !

We returned to this property to visit family in the neighborhood. It is so convenient for us and clean, well-stocked and comfortable. My only complaint is that the units are often booked far ahead of travel dates, so grabbing an apartment here requires a lot of lead time and a bit of luck.

No negatives overall. This was a great stay. If anything, the one issue was the drains in sink and shower did not drain right away causing the water to sit for a while. Other than that this was a perfect stay. We would definitely come back!

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was awesome! The owners have thought of everything you could need. Snacks in the cupboard, milk and condiments in the fridge, ice cubes ready to go, spreads for toast and sandwiches and fresh fruit. The apartment was very clean with lots of extra linens if needed. The location is fairly central, 30 minute drive to anywhere we wanted to go. Parking was included, gas station less than a block away and grocery stores in the area as well. We would definitely stay here again!
