The location, in a quiet residential street, was perfect to walk around the city late into the night and get back to the comfort of the room as if it was our house. The staff was polite and helpful for all our needs. Breakfast on the terrace with freshly served dishes was an added bonus. The garden view from our room is what we requested and got.
There was one good chair and one cheap plastic chair in the room. My suggestion is to keep 2 good chairs with a small table to have coffee or take in the view. Also, only tea bags were in the tray. No coffee. It was not an issue for us as we both had the tea. However, housekeeping should ensure that this is stocked properly.

BF was one of the best things we enjoyed during stay ....very well prepared and home style ....terrific ambience on the terrace

Their breakfast is very good: every day they have a different South Indian breakfast item (dosa, pongal etc). Also included is eggs any style, toast, coffee or tea, juice.
The rooms are good. The location is quiet and near metro station Trinity. In and around Garuda shopping mall are restaurants. A bit of a walk away is Church Street with loads of shops and restaurants.
5.0
Location, clean amenities, and super friendly and professional staff.
There was nothing we didn't like.
4.0
Comfortable, quiet hotel with nice rooftop garden. Owner is very helpful.
My room was rather dark and had only one window looking onto a corridor.
1.0
Location Only. Rooms are large
for the price I paid, I would pay 1500 more and get a room at the Taj.
AC doesn't work.
The beds are uncomfortable. Wifi is poor.
Staff is untrained. Hygiene levels are very poor.
Breakfast is sad

The hotel is comfortable and well-decorated. The shower has a good flow and the bed is comfortable. The place is very close to Brigade Road, but still very quiet.
The service is poor. There were no towels in my room, and at the same time they forgot to collect the used towel hanging behind the door.
Breakfast a lá carte was tasty, but again, they didn't understand English and were lost when we ordered simple things like an omelet and coffee.
They have only white bread and white sugar, it will not cost a lot more to serve brown bread and sugar.

great location. beds were comfortable and showers were great with good hot water and a door. we had rooms on 2nd floor just next to a delightful terrace which was accessible to us at any time. it was shady with tables and chairs and was used by hotel to serve the meals. staff were very helpful and friendly. kettle not in room when we arrived but was provided very quickly on request.
nothing

Nive breakfast and staff but the room was dark and not so comfortable. The terrace was ok but the top terrace was closed
The room and terrace could use a renovation and a thorough cleaning
3.5
Very few options were available for the breakfast. Though the facilities mentioned south indian and continental breakfast, at least the guest's preferences could have been considered
Both of us were senior citiizens and were allotted a room on the second floor. since both of us had difficulty in climbing steps, we should have been informed about the sitatuion of the room prior to check in.

Simple but good quality

A lovely peaceful refuge from the bustle of MG Road, yet still only a short walk to the metro and to the heart of everything. the place has lots of character and very attentive staff. rooms were clean and well appointed. breakfast was simple and included. If you are tired of the monotony of towering hotel blocks with generic corridors, this is the place for you.

The place is cozy and comfortable. Good to be recommended to others. Helpful staff made our stay enjoyable.
I would like to suggest one thing that I am sure every guest would appreciate is to have a kettle in the room for making coffee.
4.5
Very friendly staff and extremely helpful. Breakfast was well planned and tasteful. Pongal and sambar were excellent. Location is very good, with ease of accessibility and prompt availability of transport.
Room should be more spacious. Stayed in Rm 111. Bathroom door needs maintenance to make sliding smooth. Pest control is done twice a month, we were told. In that case the pest service service provider is not doing a proper job - small cockroaches were crawling in the fridge area and bathroom.

Staff responsiveness and support
Nothing unlikable but nothing exceptional either
4.5
The property was well maintained. The ambience was excellent, specifically the greenery maintained in the terrace was treat to the eyes. The property was neat and clean. The staff was very courteous and very helpful in managing the Dinner for my guest.
The complementary tea / coffee kit provided in the room needs to be checked and replaced with fresh stock. The Kettle was dusty and the water was not removed from the last use. The window was kept open, probably for fresh air, this resulted in lots of mosquitoes in the room.
5.0
The rooms were spacious.
Washrooms were equipped with a bath cubicle, toilet, toiletries and sufficient towels.
Decent cabinet space.
Kettle and coffee/tea facilities were provided in the room.
The open area had an RO filter (aquaguard/kent) and one could get drinking water for free.
The open area also had microwave and cutlery that we could use.
The sitout terrace was simply lovely for chilling out in the evenings.
The setting of the terraces was lovely, with tiny little statues, water fountains and lots of indoor plants rendering a soothing ambience to the place.
Staff and owner were very courteous and obliging, always with a sweet smile.
The breakfast and lunch/dinner facilities was very satisfying, decent and prompt.
Cookie (the friendly pet dog) added to all the good things.
There's only 1 suggestion I would like to give, that the 2 drain exits in the washroom should be covered, without which Occasionally there would be bad odor emanating from them.

Value for money. Well kept rooms and very helpful staff.
Towels were dirty.
5.0
Excellent hospitality.
Comfortable stay, amenities and tasty food.
The first room had some ac issues. Was promptly sorted and we were shifted to a better and bigger room without any extra expenses.
With a personal transport, travelling would be easier.
4.0
The service and staff was great. The rooms were large sized. The location was convenient. The breakfast was awesome. We even ordered thali dinner that was decent for the price. Food is prepared fresh, especially breakfast, so its nice and hot.
Did not get the type of room we booked. We asked for one of the rooms with twin beds and did not get that. None of the rooms we got had a bathtub. One of the rooms seemed old with paint chipping. Parking is limited but the staff assisted with car safety.

A warm welcoming by the Proprietor Kausalya and a final goodbye by her son Mahendra.
And in between the great hospitality by Jayamary and Manoj ji ♥️ For sure is a home away from home🥰 If you take time and observe every nook and corner has something quirky collected by Kausalya and they’re all soo adorable and very thoughtful! it’s like she has put all her heart into this place and we can also feel the warmth of it when we stay there🥰 Gonna do all my staycations at Terrace Gardens from now on😍♥️
Nothing to complaint about, it’s just perfect the way it is 🤷🏻♀️

the garden, the ambience, garden statues looked very creative. I admired them.
Nothing in specific.
