About this apartment rental

Please read our entire listing description and see all our photos to be sure our space is what you are looking for. Enjoy your own country themed, patriotic, separate, 400sq ft guest suite in our house. Think tiny home :) Featuring a private entrance, private patio area with a picnic table and charcoal grill, bathroom, kitchenette with an oven range. Our tub is tall and small, and small children may need assistance getting in. We do have some patriotic and religious art and items in our place and let all of our guests know that beforehand so they can determine if this is a good fit for them. :) We are in an older middle class neighborhood, but our area is very safe, friendly, and all our neighbors watch out for one another. We have 1 main bed and 1 couch bed in the rest area. We are located 15 minutes from downtown Coeur D'Alene Idaho, in Post Falls Idaho, and 5 minutes from Qemiln Park Beach. 1 minute away from Black Bay open space park, with a very small beach area, and 5 minutes from Kiwanis open space park with another small beach area, We are also about 6 minutes from Falls park where their is waterfall and pond. All parks are open space with trails and close to water. 5 minutes from downtown Post Falls. 35 minutes from Spokane Intl airport. Also, enjoy all the major attractions of Coeur D'Alene. Our place comfortably fits 2 adults, can snugly fit 2 adults and 2 smaller children. Anything more than that may feel very tight depending on preference. But we welcome up to 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.
Their is no extra room for extra mattresses, etc. But we have a very comfortable queen size bed, and a queen size lazy boy couch bed and guests may share that. . We have outlet covers available for those with toddlers and safety locks in cabinets with chemicals and drawers with knives.

My husband and I met our host Heather soon after arriving. She was so nice and gave us tips on places to go. The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. Really enjoyed sleeping to white noise machine set to the ocean waves! There was also eggs and muffins in the refrigerator!

Host was wonderful with communication. Site was discreet but easy to find and park. Accommodations were as described. Although small (as advertised), the space was perfectly usable, well decorated, and very comfortable. We will seek these folks out when passing through in the future!

I stayed here with my grown niece and her infant son for a week while we were visiting family. Everything about the property was just as described and the host was super accommodating. The location is ideal- close to the everything but still quiet and private. Highly recommend if you are going to be in the Idaho panhandle region!

The property was exceptionally laid out and well "appointed". Many of the "basics" were supplied. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioners was very welcome for the hot stretch we stayed. Undoubtedly the best part were the hosts! They made sure we had arrived safely, that we understood where everything is and were extremely friendly. Any questions we had were answered (very) promptly! When the host had to be gone, she made sure we knew the name and contact information for her "substitute." Bottom line: Would we stay again? In a (Post Falls) minute!! :)

We chose this over a hotel room for our nieces wedding. We are so glad we did. It was wonderful to relax on the sofa after a long day and also to sit and enjoy our coffee at the table in the mornings. Everything was perfect. Nice size bedroom, really comfortable bed. Plenty of space in the bathroom. We would love to stay again sometime.

A very comfy, cozy Post Falls property with a very homey feel. Minutes from Post Falls amenities, close to Coeur d'Alene. With its own patio area complete with picnic table and grill. Everything needed to make your stay complete. You can cook in or eat out as you choose. Yoke's Fresh Market just three minutes away is marvelous, with groceries and readymade food to go. The property owners were gracious and unobtrusive. They were available if there was anything needed yet kept contact to a minimum. Would recommend this property for your stay in Post Falls.

Clean and convenient. Very nice of Heather to have some basic food items stashed in the refrigerator - eggs muffins butter pancake mix, oatmeal, coffee (reg and decaf) so I didn’t have to run to the store right away. We had a last-minute family emergency, which changed our planned time in the area and Heather worked with us to get the appropriate refund on very short notice for the unused days at BOTH the front and and backend of the original rental timeframe after cancellation deadlines had passed.

This was one of our favorite vrbo rentals we’ve been in. The hosts were always quick to make contact or respond to messages and very accommodating to us (complimentary food in the fridge and welcoming notes). The rooms were super clean and tidy and we felt totally at home. We have two young boys and the smaller space was not a problem for us at all. We also liked having a place to eat outside on our last night. The location was beautiful as well! We look forward to coming back to this area of Idaho again in the future!

I can with my mom and two children. The space was cozy, but comfortable. The decor was lovely and fun, and much love and care was put into this space. The shower was amazing—the water trough tub is so fun! Heather was so attentive and thoughtful in how she cared for us and making us feel so welcome. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again!

Our family of three (two adults and a five-year-old) stayed here for four nights and it was great! The rental space was bigger than we anticipated and it fit us just fine. The hosts also included some food items which was a nice touch! Location was great as well, really close to the river and good restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

We didn’t realize this was walking distance to a beautiful spot on the Spokane River! We jumped off rocks and swam just a couple blocks from the home. Although the neighborhood is older we felt safe as 2 female friends traveling without our spouses. We enjoyed the White House and Current Kitchen restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay again and felt it was a great value. AC/heat mini-split works great!

Our stay here was a beyond exceptional experience from start to finish in this home away from home! Easy booking and check in, exceptional communication with host, all the comforts of home in a reasonably priced, clean, quiet, delightfully decorated, separate entrance mother-in-law suite, complete with it's own private outdoor patio, picnic table and grill! Conveniently located with easy, quick access to local parks, beaches, Coeur d'Alene and Spokane. The hosts were wonderfully warm, graciously checking that we had everything we desired for a comfortable stay, while ensuring our privacy. My only regret is that our vacation wasn't longer! This will definitely be our 'go to' place to stay when in Idaho! Thank you so very much Heather and Joseph, we'll be back! God bless you and keep you!

Heather was very responsive. When delayed flights meant I’d be getting in very late, I thought I wouldn’t be able to reach her if I had problems finding the house but she responded very quickly even at 11pm. Before my stay, she reached out to offer groceries for breakfast and even accommodated my allergies! The flat uses space wisely and does not feel cramped; they chose their furniture and appliances wisely for the space. My boyfriend would come hang out in the morning for breakfast, and we comfortably ate and spent time in the space. The fan was a bit low for his 6’4” stature, but it was mostly the chains you pull to turn the light and fan on and off that he would collide with. They thought of everything but Heather still checked in just to make sure I didn’t need anything additional. All-in-all, a great stay!

We really enjoyed our time here. The small house has all that you may need. We really enjoyed the little fireplace space heater and the extra seasonal touches (a small Christmas tree and Christmas lights)! Stayed here with my toddler and 4 month old and found it had all the right accommodations. The seperate bedroom with a sound machine really helped my toddler for nap times while I took care of the baby in the livingroom/kitchen area. Heather was wonderful! She checked in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything. Definitely hope to stay here again soon!!!

I live an hour out of town so it was wonderful to have a quiet relaxing place to study before a very important test. The rental was small, comfortable, and had a fantastic soaking tub that melted all of the pre-test anxiety away! Thank you so much for sharing this adorable space with us!

Heather was a great host, the perfect balance between being available without encroaching on our space. My wife and I stayed here with our 6 month old child and found the space perfect for our needs. The bedroom was just big enough to fit a pack and play adjacent to the bed. Black Bay Park was a short walk away and had beautiful views of the river.
