About this cabin rental

This custom log cabin on the lake is your perfect getaway anytime of the year. With a private dock and one-of-a-kind boat house, there's no better place to spend the lazy days of summer on the water or cozy up by the outdoor firepit on a cool fall night.

With 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, this house is perfect for groups and families. It features a master suite on the main level with a King sized bed. Downstairs has three bedrooms: one with a King bed and attached bathroom, another with a King bed and beautiful lake views, and a third bedroom with double bunk beds perfect for kids of all ages. Also downstairs is an additional living room/game room with a (queen) sleeper sofa, TV and foosball table.

The lake cabin feel is carried throughout the home's interior, but the real show-stopper happens outside. In the terraced back yard you will find a stone patio with firepit overlooking the lake and down a few more steps is the unique boat house. The boat house has amazing views of the lake and a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator and sink for all your entertaining needs.

Lake equipment and toys such as life jackets and kayaks are provided, as well as access to the dock, but BYOB-Bring Your Own Boat! (inquire about boat rental)

The house is centrally located on Lake Keowee, allowing a quick boat ride north to the waterfall, or south to the Tiki Hut and Marina. The Lighthouse Restaurant is located directly across the lake from the house. Beyond the lake, it is a 15 minute drive to Seneca and a 25 minute drive to Clemson and several hiking trails are located nearby.

Check in is 4pm and Checkout is 10am.

We love coming to lake Keowee for the lake This house has what we call a three sided cabana down at the lake with electricity, running water, a full size refrigerator, and grill. We spent most of our time down there fishing, cooking out, and playing cards. Great house for family time, with plenty of seating for everyone. We highly recommend this place!!

What a great home to stay in with your friends and family. All the linens were clean and fresh. The house was spotless and has everything you need. Full sized washer and dryer. Great deep water dock for swimming and docking your rented boat. The boathouse has seating and a bbq. Also a fridge. The homeowner was great and easy to get in touch with. I would highly recommend this home for your family It was a perfect week away. We would love to go back if they will have us!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable and the view of the water was amazing. Having cocktails at the dock house in the evenings was fantastic. Richard was also a great host! I look forward to another stay in the future!

This property was perfect for our long weekend adventure visiting our Clemson student! We enjoyed lots of fishing, kayaking and the amazing tranquility. Plenty of space for everyone. The beautiful and comfortable home had everything we needed and was so very clean.

This property was exceptional. It had everything you needed. Views were fabulous. Loved the boat house as well as the swing. Nice quiet neighborhood easy access to town. The host was very responsive to all my questions and quick to respond. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this home!!!!

The house had plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and 4 children. We especially enjoyed hanging out at the boathouse and dock. The kids fished and went swimming and all of us enjoyed the kayaks. I highly recommend getting up early to watch the sunrise from the dock. It was breathtaking. Richard was an excellent communicator/host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The house was perfect for our family. The house is large enough for everyone to have their own space. We spent most of our time on the back porch and at the boathouse. I liked that the house had gates on the porch and on the deck at the boathouse because we had 3 babies under 2 with us. We will definitely stay at the house again!

We planned a last minute lake trip for my husbands birthday. I’m so happy we found this place! A few members from each side stayed with us or would come to visit for the day. It was the perfect place and size, even the dogs got to come. It was a perfect place to get away. We spent the majority of our time enjoying the porch’s lake view or the dock house by the water. We only left the house for a grocery store run, which is about 20 minutes away. The location for the house is great as well. There are a few neighbors in the cove but they are not stacked too close like some places. This made our stay quiet and peaceful.

My family and I appreciated everything about this house….from the beautiful views of Lake Keowee, to the little boat house by the water, to the beautiful artwork within the house and the marks of how much the children/grandchildren of the owners on the interior walls. It felt like home here. Our favorite things were making family meals in the well equipped kitchen and gathering in the back porch, overlooking the lake to sit and chat. My personal favorite was lying in the hammock under a spring sky, reading in the sunshine. Thank you Rich for a wonderful respite.

We had a great time staying here as multigenerational families. We enjoyed local hiking and coming back to relax at the lake. The kids ate smores at the outdoor firepit. Despite it being November, we still used kayaks! We were able to cook an entire traditional Thanksgiving meal as the kitchen is so well stocked! Having 2 large tables to sit at was great! Owner was very kind and communicated easily! Would definitely return!

While visiting my son at Clemson we took the opportunity to stay at Rich's lakeside retreat. The property is well decorated and equipped with all the necessary conveniences. My family enjoyed the ability to spread out and relax in comfort and enjoy the serene views. Would stay again.

This property has something for everyone in the family. My adult children and my 4 yr old grandson loved swimming and fishing from the dock. My husband and I loved the quiet beauty of the lake. The house is spacious, clean and well-stocked. However, if you need anything, there are many stores just a few minutes away. Hope to return soon!

My family and I had the opportunity to stay here for 8 nights. The home is very quaint, has a very cozy feel and a great location. We spent the days swimming off the dock in deep water, kayaking and enjoying our morning coffee on the back deck in the rocking chairs. The home was well stocked and our host Rich was very responsive and accommodating. We would recommend this for anyone wanting a quiet getaway at Lake Keowee.

Overall, this is a great place to bring family and friends for a comfy and cozy stay. Lots of room in the house and steps leading to a nice boat house. We had 11 people and had plenty of room. If you are looking for a reasonably priced quiet vacation spot this is it. Bring your own toiletries and beach towels.

We had a great experience staying here! Rich was very responsive to any questions that we had, and the property had everything that our three generation group needed or wanted. The kids had a great time fishing and using the kayaks around the dock. This place is definitely high up on the list for us for a return trip!!

We had a wonderful time. The location was toward the middle of Lake Keowee, so we could go south to the marina in about 15 minutes or to the waterfall and the jumping rock to the north in about 15 minutes. The house was well kept and very comfortable. The host allowed us to arrive 4 hours earlier and shared a little history on the house. He also let us know that a man was coming to trim the branches, so the lake could be even more enjoyed from the house. There are a lot of water toys- kayaks and water boards that the grandkids enjoyed, while the adults watched comfortably from the boat house. We would recommend staying here and enjoy Lake Keowee.

I spent a long weekend with my family at this wonderful lake home. It has and excellent location on the lake and sits on a quiet cul de sac providing a very relaxing atmosphere. The home was clean and well appointed. It appears that the owners lived in the home prior to turning it into a rental, which is great, because everything you need is already there. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need for a short or extended stay. Bath towels are very nice, much better than the typical "rental grade". There are nice kayaks and a paddle board for water use. The "boathouse" has a nice deck, sink, fridge, and propane grill that we used to cook and eat at the waters edge! The owner, Richard, was very responsive to answer questions and quickly made arrangements for us to stay an extra night at my request. My family and I had a wonderful stay. Thank you Richard!

The cabana hut is everything! Our family ate meals down there, fished a ton, swam, played card games, and hung out and listened to music. With electricity, a fridge, and running water at the cabana , it was the perfect place for our family! Thanks Rich for sharing your house with us!

This lake house is simply beautiful! The owner always got back to me right away with questions I had. We had such a relaxing time and enjoyed going out on the kayaks and boat we rented (just down the street). We had the best time and would definitely like to come back next spring!
