Cottage is located on a slope overlooking Saariselkä landscapes. On the other side of the cottage there is a park area with no neighbors. Ski trail runs next to, ski lifts in the lower-station 3.5 km, to the upper station to Kaunispää top by car 2.0 km or by foot 600 m. Footpath to Saariselkä center 1.4 km, by car 2.5 km. Sledding hill 100 m. National Park boundary 2 km. Ivalo Airport 28 km. Ivalo 30 km. The nearest bus stop approx. 500 m. From Ivalo airport shuttle bus back and forth.
