About this apartment rental

Nature and fashion come together in perfect harmony in this beautiful apartment. Located in Madrid’s upscale Salamanca neighbourhood – known for its grand 19th-century boulevards, designer boutiques and fine dining restaurants – this home is a perfect reflection of its prestigious locale and offers a wonderfully stylish base from which to explore the city. Wood floors and a sloping ceiling make a welcome first impression in the open-plan living space, with a green velvet sofa and pretty shuttered windows adding a country-chic vibe to the proceedings. The kitchen, meanwhile, is all swish and snazzy with its marble kitchen island and blue velvet chairs, and there’s a desk space here too should you need to catch up on work. Our favourite feature, however, is the private suntrap terrace – the ideal spot to begin your days with an alfresco breakfast and end evenings with a glass of wine at sunset. With two comfortable, elegant bedrooms to boot – each promising a relaxing night’s sleep – you’ve got everything you need to experience the city in luxurious style. When you’re not hanging out in your plush pad, pack a picnic to enjoy in El Retiro Park (a five-minute walk) or hit the shops along Gran Vía (an eighteen-minute walk). You’re also an eighteen-minute walk from the National Museum of Romanticism, while the famous Museo Nacional del Prado is a twenty-minute stroll from your door. Home truths: *At maximum capacity, one guest will be sleeping on the second bedroom's single trundle bed *There's a lift to reach the apartment's front door *Out of respect for the neighbours, please keep noise levels to a minimum between 11 pm and 9 am *There's no parking here, but we recommend skipping the car and making use of Madrid's excellent public transport instead – Serrano station is a three-minute walk away *Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport is a twenty-minute drive away or forty minutes away by public transport
