Deceivers.

I didn’t like my stay at the property.

They told me that I will pay 30 usd as a damage deposit that will be refundable after I deliver the property at its state. So I payed the extra 30 usd in advance to discover later that those extra 30 usd weren’t for damage deposit, but for cleaning service and been told that I wouldn’t get them refuunded. They are thieves so pay attention.

Amazing apartment

The location was perfect! Mr. Alaa was very helpful and responsive and we had no issues during our stay. Highly recommended :)

Decent but not great value for money

The host is helpful and always quick to respond. He sent the exact location of the house soon after booking. He was also quick to fix the broken electric plug when we complained. The rooms are spacious. It's a convenient location to explore the tourist attractions. Kitchen utensils worked well. There are two toilets which was a good thing for us. There are couple of small shops downstairs to buy things like water or snacks. There is a small beach nearby as well but not a very nice one.

Even though the house itself is not bad, but the building is poorly maintained. The area around staircase is very shabby. The curtains and the windows of the house should be cleaned better. I found some pesticides in the rooms; the owner should've told us about it as we had a young kid with us. For this price, I expected a better place, I think this would've been okay if the price was lower.

Exceptionally Beautiful Apartment

This apartment offered us so much space and a beautiful view of the Mediterranean off the front deck. The location on Booking.com was misleading, thus the lower score there. We regretted nothing of the stay, however, as it was well worth the inconvenience of being a little further from the center of things. The cooking facilities were amazing during Ramadan when our food options were so limited during the day.

The location should be corrected on the booking.com website.

the stay was extremely comfortable and people were super friendly .

the property is so spacious with a great sea view,it has a big balcony that fits at least six people. Rooms are huge and it has two full bathrooms and one half bath. the host Ala’a is honest, nice and punctual. He answers every single question we asked so fast and was able to help with anything we needed. I truly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great experience in Alexandria.

kitchen is old and needs better appliances, plus the couches need to be replaced.

Great location, spacious apartment, very welcoming owner with great comms and would be happy to revisit.

Plenty of mod cons in a very spacious apartment. The owner was very welcoming and made every effort to make our stay enjoyable including allowing us a generous late check out. The location was very close to the beach and library and catching Ubers to the local Carrefour cost about £1.50 depending on time of day and worth a trip for the shopping in the air conditioned mall.

We had some problem with the electrics for a couple of hours but that was do with the General Electric Board in Alexandria and nothing to do with the building or apartment.

we mistakenly got our bookings mixed up & didn’t book accommodation on the day of arrival. the host was very helpful

the facilities were fantastic. trendy interior, excellent wi-fi connectivity, super comfortable bed, ambundant hot water & very very clean, with 24hr security. walking distance to Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

Our stay in Alexandria was wonderful because of Alex Gate apartment.

Alex Gate apartment was fantastic: super clean, modern style, luxury furnished, comfortable, perfectly equiped and very well located. We felt like at home. Host was so helpful with the accomodation and much more (good places to see, eat and even drivers to suggest). He was keen to assist us all our stay long, from the 1st till the last day.

It was the perfect choice and made us feel we are in a 5 stars hotel. Very good value for money.Staff is very friendly .

it was very clean and comfortable and so convenient location to go and enjoy the whole city . The library, hop on bus is walking distance .It is close to the beach and has air conditioning and heating so will do in winter and summer . They called me immediately after the booking to confirm the check in details and was very flexible with checking in and out. I would highly recommend it and the pictures match reality.

The building is too old but this won’t put me off and I will still book it again if I go to Alexandria .
