recently stayed at this charming beach cabin and had an overall fantastic experience. The location is perfect, with stunning views. The cabin itself is well-maintained, cozy, and has all the amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. However, I have to mention that the couch in the living area is in desperate need of replacement. It’s very uncomfortable, which detracted a bit from the otherwise perfect stay. Updating the couch would definitely make this place a 5-star rental!Despite this, I would still recommend this cabin for its many other great qualities. With a new couch, it would be absolutely perfect!

The cabin was great! My family really enjoyed staying here. The view from the deck is amazing. I love thay you can see the lake and the ocean from the deck. We spent a lot of time out there. It's so quiet and peaceful, it was nice to be able to get away from all the noise. We had nice weather during our stay which was perfect. There is a small trail at the bottom of the driveway that took us to the down to the creek which was a nice little area for the kids to play.
The driveway is pretty steep especially once you get close to the top. It's about a 45° angle at the top. Our first time going up it we weren't sure where it lead for parking.
The cons: There where pee stains on the carpets and underneath the furniture it was still dirty. The couch in the room with the tv could use some new cushions. You can feel the springs pretty good in some of the cushions making it uncomfortable to sit or even lay on after awhile.
Other than those few things we enjoyed our stay till the very end.

Positive: The Beanstalk was a decent week getaway for the family. The property is very secluded and is in a beautiful forest with outstanding views of the lake. The cabin slept six people comfortably and the property was in fair condition.
Negative: Upon arriving, the property was not very clean. There were 8 piles of dog poop around the property we had to clean up and there were maggots in the trash (it had not been removed for a while). Vicasa was nonresponsive when we tried to contact them regarding issues throughout the stay. The driveway is very steep and took everything our Subaru had to climb it. This made walks to and from the cabin uncomfortable.

We had a great time at this gorgeous get away. We actually eloped on the deck overseeing the lake and ocean in a distance. Great venue for getting away from society for a bit!!

The property was absolutely gorgeous and stunning. Our only complaints was that the tv was not functioning properly and the bbq didn’t function properly as well. Other than that, it was a wonderful place for vacation.

A sweet little cabin with an amazing view. We love our stay every time.

The Beanstalk is a cute little place that feels more remote than the few minutes to get into the heart of Lincoln City.

We loved our stay, especially the cozy cabin feel, the woodstove, the private woodsy setting, and of course the back deck with view! Driveway is super steep (as previously noted) and stairs to house are a bit of a workout (which we didn't mind but some might). Dining chairs are wobbly and couldn't be tightened. House was nice and clean but could use overall deep clean. Definitely would stay again!

We loved that it was deep in the woods and had a real cozy cabin vibe.

This cabin is located on a hill in the forest just outside of Lincoln City with a fabulous view and absolute privacy. It was clean, well appointed, comfortable, and so quiet. There was a functioning wood stove and the kitchen had all the we needed. The deck is very large, all new wood, with outdoor seating and a gas bbq. We had a terrific stay and highly recommend it.

We loved our stay and had a nice, relaxing vacation. The cabin was in decent shape and the deck seems to be completely rebuilt. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and watching the sunset over the lake and ocean in the evening. The cabin is close enough to town, but is nestled away in the woods. We will come back!

This home has a beautiful view of the ocean and lake. The privacy and woods surrounding the home is wonderful.
There is plenty of good space for 6 people to be comfortable here.

Overall we enjoyed out stay and appreciated the special touches such as a bin full of toiletries etc, lots of games, comfy rec room, and gorgeous view. Customer support was problematic but overall the house is charming and feels very tucked away. The master bedroom could really benefit from night tables and a few hooks to hang things. Plenty of deferred maintenance but clean and welcoming. Deducting a star for cleanliness because there was some crusty food on some kitchenware (no scrubber, but one was supplied upon request), the living room rug released an explosion of dust when we moved it, and the coffee maker was full of icky old coffee and a used filter.

The home was very clean. The bed was comfortable with plenty of blankets. The view was beautiful. For the most part it has everything we needed. However here are some things we wished we had known. The driveway is essentially a two-track with a VERY steep driveway at the end, we went sure if car was going to make it up. There is no shower upstairs only a tub. If you plan to use the wood stove, they do not provide wood or any instructions regarding it. Be sure and ask ahead of time about it.

Loved the view from the home. Was equipped with many brand new amenities in case you forget anything! Kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, etc. The home was very cozy and didn’t feel too creepy (as some cabins in the woods do😂). It was stocked with blankets and pillows and the tv in the living room offers many streaming channels. Being in the middle of no where in the woods, we were pleasantly surprised that there wasn’t many bugs inside the house. Unlike other reviews we found the home very easily. Just turn onto Stevens Rd and go all the way straight, it’s the house at the very end. Pretty easy to find. Since the house is so far away from the other homes coming up the private driveway, you get completely peaceful silence up in the woods. It sounds amazing when it rains and you’re sleeping! made it hard to get up in the mornings 😂 We were overall very satisfied with our trip and enjoyed our stay.
Some things to note though; The driveway up to the house is superrrrr super steep and narrow. It’s at least 100ft long and elevates at least 50ft up. It’s very steep and hard to walk up and down without losing traction. A 4x4 vehicle is definitely required in snowy/rainy conditions. My friends honda civic couldn’t make it up the hill. Also the porch had caution tape wrapped all along the railing, kinda ruins the view and makes you question the safety of the porch. We had no problems with it though, we just stayed in front of the sliding door. Also there’s a sign that’s a warning for bears! kept us on our toes for sure 😂

Wood cabin nestled in the woods with a bird’s eye view of Devil’s Lake and the ocean. The best of it all, secluded while being very close to town. Plenty of games and puzzles, a fantastic movie room, and a kitchen great for making family meals. This is our 4th time staying at the Beanstalk and every trip has been fantastic!

This well appointed cabin/house was cozy and had all the basics needed and some fun extras. Many small appliances made staying in very comfortable. There were quite a few staples available in small quantities so that if you didn't want to bring everything, you still had the basics. The only thing I missed was a knife sharper stone. There were games, puzzles, movies and books as well as some streaming services.
During this last week of October, we had rain, sun and even an Autumn storm! The trees were glorious and we had several sightings of the same few deer. The fog was beautiful and the off-the-beaten-path location was very private and peaceful.
The driveway is steep and was slick with rain and pine needles. One of our cars slid and got stuck, and we had a hard time finding a tow company on a Friday afternoon. Be careful, 4-wheel drive would be nice (but I did ok without). In spite of this the view was amazing and worth the steep hill.
There was also a strong mold smell in the cabin that required airing out. This could be hard on those with breathing problems, but we were ok after a bit. This could have been affected by the time of year.
Overall, this is a wonderful place for quiet and peace. Might not be great for those with mobility or breathing problems.

This place was amazing. A cabin in the woods for sure. If you want to be a little off the grid but have all the comforts of home in this cozy cabin this is your place. The view is most definitely beyond words! If you love nature and peaceful beauty stay here. We would definitely recommend and go back.

Amazing little house! Our family of five fit just right, including the dog. The beds were extremely comfortable, even with my sensitive back. Plenty of room for the baby's pack and play in the master bed room. The view was amazing of Devils Lake, and so quiet and peaceful. The shower right off the front entryway was super convenient after our trip to the beach, and all the little amenities were so nice. Full kitchen with added extras was lovely. It was hard to find, but once we did we really liked how secluded it was, we felt very safe. We will definitely visit again!

This place was awesome. It had everything you need. Small touches made it more special like chocolates on the pillows, toothbrushes & toothpaste in case you forget yours. The place is so spacious.

Place was awsome. Could use some updates. Couch in tv room has issues. Balcony needs some major attention. Please watch hand rails and some of the floor. Some rooms have moldy smell. Over all we all enjoyed our stay.
