This condo is reasonably comfortable for 2 people. It felt safe and convenient. Quirks include a completely west-facing orientation, which means it gets very bright and warm on a sunny day, and you will wait a fairly long time for hot water. I would note that the listing clearly mentioned a hot tub as an amenity, but there is none in the building. A bit more attention could be paid to upkeep: the fitted sheet we slept on was badly pilled and needed replacing; the ice maker did not work; 1 door blind would not open; the blind above the doors would not shut; and the light above the shower was burnt out.

We booked for an extended weekend getaway. Worked out perfectly for exploring the city. Really great location. Neighbors were courteous. Pretty quiet overall. Would book again.

The two of us were looking for a place that would be walkable to the convention center but would also be near restaurants. Of course we were also looking for a place that was clean, safe and comfortable and also had a full kitchen. The second bathroom was a nice addition. Basically this home met all of our needs perfectly.

Absolutely fantastic location - I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go! I also felt safe.walking around in the evening and after dark. Other reviews mention the fire dpt next door, and it is next door, but the sirens were barely audible from inside the condo during the day, and I did not hear them during the night. The condo was exactly as described, very well cleaned, & within an easy to access building. Unit was also easy to lock/unlock when leaving/entering. Only critique is the upstairs shower - the handle is difficult to use to turn on the water & there is very little play between cold and hot. I would stay here again!

Valerie has done much to make this condo townhouse a welcoming place. Nice appliances, cozy furniture, a big TV, comfortable bed. The large windows allow the sun to stream in. All the neighbors seem nice; many have dogs but they are well behaved (we heard no barking). Down the street is Weaver Street Market, where we could find pretty much anything; we picked up some wine which we drank from Valerie's classy wine glasses. Our son just moved to the Raleigh area, so this might become our go-to location when we come to visit him. Thanks for making your condo available for others to enjoy.

This property is fine. The location is great if you want to walk to many restaurants or the capital area, and there’s a really great yoga studio just around the block. Be ready for plenty of noise from the fire station though. This VRBO doesn’t get high praise from me though. The shower has two colors of mold. The carpet is stained. The walls are scuffed all over. And there is so much stuff being stored in the coat closet and bedroom closet that it’s hard to find room to hang your own things. The cupboards are a jumbled, disorganized mess of dishes. The welcome note says to enjoy the snacks and water, but there were no snacks or bottled water. Fridge has water in the door which was convenient. View of the parking lot. Overall it’s fine. Great location aside from the fire station, but mediocre unit. I stayed for a week and the host never reached out or checked in with me either.
