This condo is reasonably comfortable for 2 people. It felt safe and convenient. Quirks include a completely west-facing orientation, which means it gets very bright and warm on a sunny day, and you will wait a fairly long time for hot water. I would note that the listing clearly mentioned a hot tub as an amenity, but there is none in the building.
A bit more attention could be paid to upkeep: the fitted sheet we slept on was badly pilled and needed replacing; the ice maker did not work; 1 door blind would not open; the blind above the doors would not shut; and the light above the shower was burnt out.

We booked for an extended weekend getaway. Worked out perfectly for exploring the city. Really great location. Neighbors were courteous. Pretty quiet overall. Would book again.

Great location, very walkable and nearby points of interest. Property is accurately described. Thanks for a great trip!

The two of us were looking for a place that would be walkable to the convention center but would also be near restaurants. Of course we were also looking for a place that was clean, safe and comfortable and also had a full kitchen. The second bathroom was a nice addition. Basically this home met all of our needs perfectly.

Absolutely fantastic location - I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go! I also felt safe.walking around in the evening and after dark.
Other reviews mention the fire dpt next door, and it is next door, but the sirens were barely audible from inside the condo during the day, and I did not hear them during the night.
The condo was exactly as described, very well cleaned, & within an easy to access building. Unit was also easy to lock/unlock when leaving/entering.
Only critique is the upstairs shower - the handle is difficult to use to turn on the water & there is very little play between cold and hot.
I would stay here again!

Valerie has done much to make this condo townhouse a welcoming place. Nice appliances, cozy furniture, a big TV, comfortable bed. The large windows allow the sun to stream in. All the neighbors seem nice; many have dogs but they are well behaved (we heard no barking). Down the street is Weaver Street Market, where we could find pretty much anything; we picked up some wine which we drank from Valerie's classy wine glasses. Our son just moved to the Raleigh area, so this might become our go-to location when we come to visit him. Thanks for making your condo available for others to enjoy.

This property is fine. The location is great if you want to walk to many restaurants or the capital area, and there’s a really great yoga studio just around the block. Be ready for plenty of noise from the fire station though.
This VRBO doesn’t get high praise from me though. The shower has two colors of mold. The carpet is stained. The walls are scuffed all over. And there is so much stuff being stored in the coat closet and bedroom closet that it’s hard to find room to hang your own things. The cupboards are a jumbled, disorganized mess of dishes. The welcome note says to enjoy the snacks and water, but there were no snacks or bottled water. Fridge has water in the door which was convenient. View of the parking lot. Overall it’s fine. Great location aside from the fire station, but mediocre unit. I stayed for a week and the host never reached out or checked in with me either.

The apartment is nice, spacious and well equipped, a very comfortable accommodation for a working period abroad. You can find a lot of little courtesies reflecting care and attention from the owner to her guests, like coffee and tea, hairdryer, shampoo and hair conditioner, plus a very comfortable bed! Fully recommended!

I've stayed at this place three or four times now, and I always love it. It's tidy and modern and comfortable and not too much. And the owner, Valerie, is super accommodating and very friendly.

I was in town for a conference at the Convention Center. Company was paying up to federal per diem rate so I chose to do something different
Somehow found this gem in the ideal location. 5 blocks from the conference. The property is just as described. A fully furnished loft apartment. Great amenities. Everything you need. 1.5 bathrooms were perfect for me and Honey. The bed was super comfortable. Sealy hybrid memory foam. Just like home.
The complex is quiet and secured. Plenty to do in the area. A small grocery store is one block away. Publix is just under 1 mile away. Restaurants and bars galore. I would come back just to spend more time visiting the entire Raleigh-Durham area.

Good location, safe feeling building, location is very convenient, free parking. Host is super responsive. Good WiFi. Solid 4 stars and would be 5 stars except for loose shower handle that was a hassle to use.
That said, I am reasonably confident that the host will get it repaired and if so I would highly recommend this property.

I just love this place. I come down to this neighborhood in Raleigh for work about once every 2 months, and this is now my FAVORITE place to stay. It's homey and welcoming and a good size for my needs. And the host was gracious and helpful, and left a book full of info and guidance on the desk.

Great location, free parking and super comfortable condo in downtown Raleigh. The pictures are a great representation of the modern loft condo, and the owner makes sure to make it a welcome place to relax. Owner was also extremely available and responsive through the app. Highly recommend!

The space was beautiful, clean, and walkable to some great downtown spots! The host was so kind and helpful when we reached out about something, readily available if needed and the place was just what we needed for a little getaway. Thanks so much!

The overall property is lovely, the space is bright and inviting. The close proximity to cultural museums, bars and restaurants impressive. The main negative was the listing clearly showed a King Bed. There was a double bed and a couch downstairs. Guests deserve honesty from VRBO hosts.

Nice stay. Location was great. Property was also very clean and nice.

This VRBO was superb!!! Very roomy and comfortable. You are within walking distance to all that Raleigh has to offer.
I would have given our stay a five-star rating, but there was an issue with the listing: the bed was supposed to be a king-size bed, but it was only a double, not even a queen. Unfortunately, my husband and I were quite uncomfortable sleeping in a very small bed. It would be absolutely fine for one guest, but not two.

My fiancé and I loved Valerie’s place! It was immaculate! Her attention to detail and response to our inquiries was very much appreciated. We felt like it was home away from home. We would definitely be returning.

We had a great stay at this property during our visit to Raleigh during Thanksgiving. It was a 5-10 minute walk from food halls, Marbles children's museum and the natural sciences museum. We didn't need a car and it made our trip a lot simpler.

Enjoyed our stay, Recommend a real coffee Maker, the kiereg that was in kitchen was worthless, Need some glass ware, only a few glasses and cups, also ther was only one wine glass

Cute and cozy place. It was very clean and has quiet neighbors which was a plus because we were there for a business trip, so getting peaceful sleep was needed. Owner left simple house instructions and also gave recommendations which was neat. This home is in an awesome location with lots of local yummy places to eat. I definitely recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed.

Great location in downtown Raleigh. Short walk to lots of good restaurants and all events. On a major street next to a fire station but very quiet. Easy check in, good communication with host. Easy parking. Host provided everything you need including arrival beer and snacks. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
