About this cottage rental

Karen's Kottage managed by owner who has been sharing her vacation homes for over 22 years! This cozy, but modern, bright, end-unit townhome is in the Brand-New, gated, "Homestead Community." Main Street is less than half mile. Sunny living room features sofa with two electronic recliners! And, an electric fireplace for those cooler evenings. There is an additional standard recliner for viewing the large, smart-tv. Full cable and hi-speed internet/wifi provided.

Beautiful granite and custom tiled kitchen is fully equipped for the chef. There is even an electronic corkscrew puller for the wine afficianado! There is additional folding table and chairs if wine-tasting friends join, or family wants more space -- outdoors or inside.

Karen's Kottage features a beautiful en-suite primary bedroom with large walk-in closet. Spacious double-vanity bath is finished with beautiful deep sinks surrounded by marble. The walk-in shower is state of the art with rain or hand-held options. Hall bath has full tub with tile surround. Marble countertop.

Second bedroom also features comfy king bed and full bath is steps away off hall. There is also a convertible twin bed for child or small teen. Karen's Kottage also provides child table and chairs for eating or crafts.

Fredericksburg is known for exploding and expanding, superior, wine-sampling opportunities. The quaint, German-historic, town is full of eating, shopping, and strolling opportunities. The WWII museum is one of the best in the nation. Also, visit nearby Luckenbach and Johnson City. Taste whiskey in nearby Hye, then follow the Hill Country Whiskey Trail. Or, stop by the quaint airport diner. And Fredericksburg is renowned for cycling paths and meet-ups.

We stayed here on the July 4th weekend and could not have been happier. It is located close enough to Main St. for convenience yet far enough away to be cozy and quiet. The property is set back from the road and there is an entry gate that provides an extra layer of safety. It's very clean and modern with more space than the pictures show. The beds were very comfortable and we were provided more than enough towels in both bathrooms.I would stay here again for sure.

Karen's home was absolutely beautiful, amazingly clean, bright, spacious, and stocked with everything we needed! The king size beds were a plus and if you like memory foam, you'll love these beds! Bathrooms are huge! And the covered front porch is great for relaxing all day in the shade! And Karen has thought of every detail and left easy instructions. Great communicator! Loved it, thank you!

There were 4 people in our party (two couples). Plenty of room for everyone. This appeared to be a new property with super comfortable beds. The space was clean, organized and very nicely decorated with all of the "necessary" conveniences. Karen was super friendly, communicative and kind. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to all my family and friends.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Karen’s Kottage! The condo was clean and orderly. We were pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was. There was one minor appliance issue that the owner rectified quickly. We would absolutely stay here again!

The property is not in the hustle and bustle near Main Street, but it's close enough that you can get downtown in 5 minutes. The location is in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the ability to relax in a very clean townhouse. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a weekend stay. Our hostess, Karen, communicated with us often. She also made wonderful dining suggestions for us. We definitely would stay again! Thanks, Karen!

Great place, great location. Owner was very responsive. Few minor issues that really didn’t hurt our stay. Also agree with other reviews on better seating than the low chair in the living room. The outside chairs were also only something that kids could sit on. All in all a great place to stay.

Karen’s Kottage was the perfect stay for our weekend getaway with friends! Her place was new, clean, fully stocked with all of your needs. It even had a hairdryer in each bathroom, (2) dishwasher pods, and (2) laundry pods. The only complication we encountered was using the TV/remotes. The house was centrally located, close to everything, and tucked away in a quiet little community. The hostess was super responsive and offered lots of useful tips! All four of us gave it a 10/10, and we will definitely stay again! Thanks, Karen!

Beautiful weather for the Festival, we enjoyed all of the sights and sounds and of course the Octoberfest Beer! Came in both nights to the comfort of the Condo to relax, rest up for the next day. The Condo is well equipped and easy to relax in. We will definitely stay here again.

Great getaway! We were able to meet up with friends we hadn’t seen in a long time. It was a great place to relax, beds were very comfortable. It was the perfect place! Their reservation system Wasn’t working properly and they didn’t charge me enough for a holiday weekend. She had to increase my nightly fee, which I thought was crummy considering it wasn’t my fault. But the property was quiet and private

Great property and location. Perfect for our visit. Would suggest a note about a noise ordinance as we had some loud neighbors in the middle of the night. Might also suggest shampoo, conditioner in bathrooms. Most places supply that. Would stay here again.

We've been coming to Fredricksburg for 50 years and this time we rented Karen's Kottage. It was the best. Everything was clean, new, kitchen amazing, bathrooms great. No complaints. Karen is so easy to work with and is so prompt asking your questions. Next trip we hope to stay here again! Also, the location is so quiet!

This place is totally peace and quiet. This place has everything you need to have a awesome peace and quiet stay, this place is located close to everything. Karen’s Kottage is every travelers dream. It’s so cute! It’s in a quiet neighborhood but it’s so close to Main Street where the action is. The cleanliness of the place just flooded me. Karen herself is so nice and easily able to get a hold of if necessary. Plus, she checked on us halfway through our stay to see if we had any issues or questions. Definitely recommend Karen’s Kottage!

Cannot begin to say how excellent this condo was. New furnishings, excellent amenities, EXTREMELY clean and quiet. Loved the reclining couch in the living room. Great location to all things Fredericksburg. We booked this condo because it had consistent 5-star ratings and it lived up to all of the reviews. We are picky about cleanliness and this condo just knocked it out of the park! For our next stay in Fredericksburg we will want to book this unit again.

There really aren’t enough words to describe how pleasant our stay was at Karen’s Kottage! The communication from Karen was amazing - she had great recommendations on things to do around town, made the check in process so easy, and even checked in during our trip to make sure we didn’t need anything! The house is wonderful! Definitely the cleanest VRBO that I’ve ever stayed in. It had everything that we needed and more. And the community that the home is in was great, very peaceful! We can’t wait to stay here again!

Karen's Kottage was perfect for my husband and I. We were visiting Fredericksburg as part of our 30th anniversary celebration. The home was one of the cleanest VRBO properties we have ever stayed in. It is in a great location for us to go anywhere around town and not have to drive far at all. I also noticed how quiet the neighborhood was at night. I had messaged Karen a couple of times prior to our visit with some general questions. She was very prompt in answering and made some great suggestions about things to do in the area. Overall a fantastic stay. We definitely want to stay here again when we come back to Fredricksburg!! Thanks Karen!
