Located within a mile of Indio’s famous Empire Polo Club, this 1.33-acre tree-lined estate makes for a spectacular private retreat. The eight-bedroom abode features expansive living and dining rooms, multiple wrap-around sectionals for groups to enjoy, a separate game room with billiards and foosball, backyard pool & jacuzzi, multiple fire features, and natural light throughout. Inside, you'll find a window-filled space with plenty of nooks to read a book or catch up over cocktails. There’s no better place to catch some sun or shade in Coachella Valley than The Date Palm Estate.
The Experience
Whether you’re in Indio for a weekend or a few weeks, you’ll enjoy AvantStay's unique, experiential amenities through the duration of your stay. For longer-term guests, let us organize regular house cleanings so you can fully relax. Take a dip in the pool before indulging in a private chef-catered meal booked by our concierge team. The Location
In terms of location, The Date Palm Estate hits the Indio sweet spot. It’s hard to find a stay more centrally-located than this home, which is within walking distance of the Empire Polo Club grounds. You’re surrounded by many well-known golf courses and country clubs, which run year-round in the desert. If you’re looking for some adventure and views, the world-class hiking trails of the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument are wonderfully preserved by local conservationists and just a short drive away. Indio may be small, but it is packed with things to do!

- As of January 2022, the City of Indio requires the reservation holder to sign an additional acknowledgment form along with providing AvantStay with a valid government ID, license plate and vehicle information, and the names of all guests in their group. AvantStay will reach out after booking to obtain this information.
- The outdoor light for the pickleball court has been disconnected and is currently unusable.
- Outdoor amenities cannot be used between 9pm - 8am (Sun - Thurs) or 10pm to 8am (Fri - Sat)
- Please note: Pool heat will not be available for the summer months (June 1 - September 30).
- Pool heat is available for an additional fee but must be requested at least 48 hours before your stay.
- This home also features two day beds.
- This home accepts a maximum of 2 pets. But pets must be approved in advance and are subject to an additional fee of $150 per pet. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- By booking any of the available add-ons the renter understands they are not affiliated with the property owner, and the guest/renter agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless the property owner for any and all claims related to any third-party activities.
- During the summer months, desert temperatures are extremely high, which may cause the pool temperature to rise as well. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to control this.
Parking Details:
No street parking is allowed at any time of day. Strictly enforced by HOA.
This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib available. A high chair can be provided upon request with at least 24hrs advanced notice. Just ask and we are happy to accommodate you and your little ones!

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.
This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

We stayed here for our annual family vacation and the house was perfect for 14 adults and 6 kids. Pool was super clean and grounds were very nice. Kids enjoyed the different outdoor games. Game room kept the kids busy and off their iPads and iPhones. It was a really nice getaway and we enjoyed staying at this property. Can’t wait to book next year.

Property was great. Avant Stay helped line up a great chef to come in and cook for our group. The chef was outstanding. House amenities were as promised. Great space and easy process overall!

The Date Palm Estate, managed by AvantStay, was the perfect site to host a dozen friends long-since graduated from college. AvantStay made the check-in process smooth and easy, and added a few nice amenities for our group. They also have a local property manager that was available to assist with anything we needed during our stay. The property is stunning and private, with ample gathering areas inside and outside the home. This is a five-star stay indeed!
