About this cottage rental
Welcome to Raven Cottage, come and enjoy your own private getaway on beautiful Quadra island. We are located on the peaceful West side of the island, near April Point Resort.
Relax, kick your heals up and enjoy watching the seals in the bay, marine life and resident bald eagles (and their nest with babies) “oh ya” and some unbelievable sunsets. Perfect for a couple looking to escape and enjoy nature.
We have a 180 degree West facing view on the ocean, with your own private deck, plus patio and green space. Close to all amenities about a 4 min drive to the ferry. Our guest suite is separate from our main house and has a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room, indoor and outdoor dining space with a bbq, washroom/laundry room. We also have storage for your bikes and kayaks.
Now all you have to do is relax, unwind, soak up nature and “oh ya” those sunsets.

Beautiful outside space, seating, bbq and vista from terrace complete the inside area, which is very well thought out and conceived. Suited us very well and hosts were very helpful with information and tips to help us maximise our enjoyment but not at all intrusive. Bonus to watch the bald eagles nesting on the island and seals playing in the waters in front of their deck.
Hope to be back as really enjoyed Quadra and this space to stay in. Thanks Michelle.

Beautiful spot with a magnificent view of the water!
Perfect place to stay-kitchen had everything you'd need, spacious bathroom, comfortable bed and a place to come in and hang clothing from outdoor activities. Nice decor and wonderful hosts! Thank you so much!

Beautifully presented and incredible attention to detail. Spotlessly clean.
First day there we saw a pod of orcas breach in front of us.
2nd day humpbacks. The property has a family of harbour seals across by a tiny island that houses an eagle nest with resident eagles and there is even a Martin. If your looking for some nature close by this is it.

This unit was clearly a labour of love - every detail was carefully thought out and resulted in a place that was warm and inviting - it managed to feel high end and homey at the same time. Hosts were friendly and available but never intrusive, and we'll especially miss watching the resident eagles on the island right outside the deck!

What a wonderful place to serve as a home base for exploring Quadra Island. The decor beautifully captures the ocean setting and the Indigenous roots of the area. The kitchen is well equipped with many added sea-inspired touches. Excellent hosts! Lots to look at from the deck -- seals, eagles, and amazing sunsets. Love this place!

Can’t say enough about this gem! The care and pride the hosts take is beyond expectations. Charming, peaceful and has everything you will need. Thoughtful details throughout. The deck overlooks a magical little piece of heaven full of eagles, seals, Joey the mink, whales and more! Incredible area with endless things to do. We will definitely be back!

So beautiful….Quadra never disappoints! This property is a very special place, you’ll be outside all day on the deck just looking at the spectacular surroundings. Nature! Inside us comfortable and has everything you’ll need. Great hosts.

Comfortable cottage, but with short stairs from bedroom to washroom for those with mobility issues. We enjoyed the peaceful ocean setting with wonderful views and wildlife discoveries. Kitchen is well equipped. Michelle was there to greet us and explain what we needed to know.

A lovely place hosted by lovely people. Beautiful spot, well-equipped and very comfortable. Fresh flowers (even outside on the patio table) were appreciated. One note, the bedroom has 3 steepish stairs that lead down into both the bathroom and main floor that could be difficult for those with wonky knees, but there is a very comfy sofabed that could be used. Highly recommend!

The property was exactly as seen on Vrbo. Hosts are amazing. Friendly,helpful and knowledgeable of the island. This was 1 of the best rentals we have stayed in. The view is spectacular. Saw Orcas, eagles seals and more. Highly recommend this property.

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect! They had fresh cut flowers waiting for us inside and everything was very beautiful and clean. The view is probably one of the best on the island and we couldn’t of asked for anything better! Thank you so much for making our trip as relaxing as possible!

We had the most wonderful stay at this delightful cottage. The views are spectacular. Sarosha and Michelle are wonderful hosts and have given thought to each detail of the cottage. Should our travels take us to Quadra Island again we hope to stay here again.

Raven Cottage is in an ideal waterfront location for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful location. Neighbours are Eagles, seals and otters. Also, nightly cruise ship viewing as they pass on their way to Alaska.
Everything a gourmet cook could desire is in the kitchen. Quality utensils and furnishings in a beautifully decorated cottage.

We had a fabulous time on Quadra, and so glad we ended up at Raven’s Cottage!
Everything you need our hosts have thought of, including sharp kitchen knives! Fabulous views, good location for accessing all the island has to offer. The eagles and their kids were great to watch, seals and otters were most entertaining, and we even got to see an Orca pod feeding on our last morning.
Michelle and Sarosha go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect!

Spectacular property! The hosts have thought of everything….all the small touches, the attention to detail, provide so much comfort and a true oasis. The views from this property are stunning…from crashing ocean waves to the green and purple surrounding mountains, and from those breathtaking sunsets to the massive cruise ships passing through from Alaska to Vancouver, to bald eagles, otters, seals and other sea life…we wish we could have enjoyed sitting on that deck a lot longer. What a fantastic way to enjoy Quadra Island in all its glory!

What a beautiful place. We stayed 6 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We kayaked, cycled, and hiked on Quadra. There is so much to do. Great location and the hosts were super helpful in answering any questions we had. We hope to be back soon.

Absolutely stunning place to experience Quadra Island's beauty! Hosts take pride in their home and were very kind to give us tips to make sure we had a great wildlife experience.
Home was clean and cozy, and in a great location! Patio and view were amazing - different colored sunsets every night and wildlife popping up everywhere. Hosts even provide binoculars!

We were amazed and delighted with the property and our hosts. Extraordinary views from the deck to watch the dolphins, orcas and seals. Bald Eagles with chicks on a nest. Squirrels and humming birds. We had great access to the island and did lots of exploring and trail walking. Lots of choices for eating out or cooking at home. The property is beautifully appointed and we would give it 5 stars. We will be recommending it to all our friends.

This was a quiet beautiful setting with lots of interesting artwork and books to read. There are local hikes and many things to do. But mostly we enjoyed the quiet ime in a beautiful setting. The home is exactly as pictured and was perfect in every way.

We had such a lovely time at this property! The island is a wonderful place to relax.. the house has everything you could need. The bed is comfortable. The deck is a place that you could spend hours watching the wildlife the host live right next-door, and are so friendly and helpful. Anything you could possibly need they will accommodate.

We spent 4 lovely nights here relaxing, enjoying the amazing views, changing tides, wildlife and cruise ships passing. Michelle and Sarosha are great hosts and the cabin has so many little extras making it very welcoming. Highly recommend staying here for a little get away!

We are so happy to have found this little piece of paradise. From the morning views with our coffee on the deck to the coziness of the suite & sunsets was amazing. Michelle’s attention to detail, from the charging cords, coffee beans & the bottle of wine from the local winery for our anniversary was so appreciated! Michelle was always quick to respond to any question we had. Can’t wait to come back! You won’t be disappointed!
