Very nice place. Included sunset cruise was pleasant. Pool lovely. Restaurant very good. Liked the room, clean cool and comfortable. As expected for hotel of their stated quality.
Overpriced, perhaps location but we have stayed in much nicer hotels for just over a third of the price in Kerala. Was harassed for payment prior to arrival, even after I had a hold on my card they still messaged threatening to cancel. Apparently they're not too familiar with booking.com processes. Also charged my card in GBP without asking at a very poor exchange rate, costing me an extra £20.

New, clean resort with friendly helpful staff. Nice pool and a excellent spa.
There is no food marked with allergi.

Beautiful property in a great location. Good rooms.
Good spa
1. No bar on location
2. Staff not well trained and could be improved which would make it a great resort
3. Poor response to questions prior to stay.
4. Boat ride broke down and then try to go at the same time on another day- told us to come back later as it was reserved for a wedding party.! disappointed

I like the finish of the property and the evening snacks are cool. one suggestion is the you can have 2 options per day . parippuvada & banana fry . otherwise if one doesnot like parippuvada does not have option .
Everything was super cool expect the food . My friend got serious stomach problem . 2 other friends also got issue . Even though its a 5 star resort food is not up to the mark . lot more you can improve in terms of food.

Food was fantastic, staff very attentive and lots of them. Beautifully clean sheets and towels. Lots of traditional looks in the hotel build. Afternoon tea with a view of the lake. Boat trip on the lake.
Nothing wished we had been able to stay longer.

Reception and restaurant kept in contact with us while we were traveling.
Restaurant manager Ratheesh is excellent leader cos his team was very efficient.
We arrived at 11pm but they kept in touch with us during our journey (long drive) to check on our meal requirements.
Reception was tops in welcoming us at that part of the night and in a terrible storm.
We were very traumatized by the long drive and monsoon like weather but the warmth with which we were welcomed was awesome to overcome the trauma
Nothing

,,the sunset boat was fantastic
Pastoral place, very kind staff
The lighting leading to the rooms especially the farthest ones away needs improvement

Staff were very friendly & helpful. Room was clean.
There were lizards in the bathroom & we came across a snake outside our room.
And also the air-con in the room was fiddley.

The entire campus, the outlay, and the ambience were extremely good. In fact, it was grand 😁 The food was excellent, and all the staff in every department were very efficient, courteous and friendly. We had a wonderful vacation, thanks to all of you.
Some people used the swimming pool without appropriate swimwear. They wore the clothes they'd traveled in to the resort!
There was no lifeguard or anybody else to regulate such things.

Let me start with the rooms. Cosy, Comfortable, Spacious & Clean. Facilities - Boating, Spa, Cycling, Game room, Swimming pool loved by kids. Food & Tea time- Variety, presentation, live counters and most important, taste for all meals were superlative. Exceptional hospitality and service. We were a family group of 9. They managed to find adjacent rooms with connected doors.
Honestly, I could not think of anything during the stay. I wish they maintain the current standard in the years to come.

We had a fantastic stay at Gokulam. From the check-in process to the rooms to the buffet....everything was top class. The property itself is very beautiful and very well maintained. There are just enough activities to keep us engaged for a 2 day stay. The pool area is fun and the water sports are a good time pass.
We felt that the breakfast and dinner buffets could use a little bit more zing. Also, the resort can create a little bit more excitement for the guests (especially kids) in the form of activities or other things to do.

Nothing as such.

Lucky to have stayed here. Fabulous rooms and amenities, friendly staff - with special thanks to Maheswary, Bobin, Jomol, Kannan, Sherin, the demonstration chef and housekeeping team for making our stay even more enjoyable.
Gardens are beautiful, pool surrounding the rooms was super clean, food was outstanding.
Nothing.
Only comment would be to perhaps switch to large refillable water bottles and large refillable bathroom products as well to be greener.
Bikes were good fun but would benefit from an upgrade.

Spacious rooms with good amenities
Great location....very relaxing
Recreational activities organised by the resort were all good
Staff were polite and helpful

Room comfort and amenities in the room.
Music concert in the evening was an added bonus.
Activities like canoeing, raft walking etc., were very nice.
we liked the live counter for Dosa at the Breakfast counter.
Wish it could be more affordable.
we could come more often!
you could also have a boat ride in the morning in addition to the sunset cruise.

Felt generally spoilt AF
Food was amazing with loads of choice. Plenty of local food, plus some Chinese and Western dishes
Staff are really friendly and helpful and loads about for whatever the u needed.
Beautiful grounds and view of the lake. Backwater canal boat trips from the hotel itself or a short tuk tuk away.
Great location for a few chilled days. You won't want or need to leave. Kumarakom is quite sprawling though, so to walk out is a mission in the heat.
Pool and spa, gym and games room were good.
Some interesting local performances in the evening.
Only a couple of minor dislikes
No alcohol, and no proper bar serving drinks. Though you could order drinks from staff passing by, and from your room.
Same piano music playing over and over in the restaurant - local music and more variety would be much better.
Air con and electrics in the room all worked but the controls a bit flakey and written instructions would have been good.

Very helpful and courteous staff. Went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Large rooms and very clean.
Breakfast could have had more of a variety.

The awesome behaviour of the staff was exceptional and striking....and the property is well maintained. We enjoyed our stay very much...
We didn't have option for buffet at all time...even for dinner...maybe it was because of the off season time

Location was absolutely stunning, staff were very courteous, and it was very clean
They have these weddings on venue, with loud music— started just before noon and went on till late at night. For other guests, that’s a good part of your vacation day greatly disturbed!!
Food could be better, given it’s such a fine resort! Not enough variety.
Also felt the absence of a shop in the resort!! Would be so nice to shop n pick up authentic Kerala Knick-knacks , spices etc while at the resort!! Esp since there’s no other shopping close by.
