We enjoyed our stay so much at Sunshine Hill. From the moment we pulled onto the long drive (it was like entering a private farm and you were a family member staying in one of the homes on the property), to seeing the house for the first time(awesome) to opening the front door and discovering the home. We were delighted and and our stay was so comfortable and peaceful.

Myself and my friends stayed at this property for my bachelorette weekend in Asheville. The property and cabin were absolutely stunning, truly my dream cabin. There were tons of amenities and we found some of our favorite memories of the weekend were hanging out at the cabin, in the hot tub and relaxing on the deck. The host was extremely helpful, kind and communicated with us very well. I would not hesitate to recommend this Vrbo to anyone.

This was a lovely house in a great location in Fairview, about 15 min from downtown Asheville. We came there to attend a family wedding, and this house was a highlight. The house was well stocked and equipped. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evenings, watching the cows in the pasture across from us. Great spot!

The sunshine house was absolutely beautiful! It was a perfect house for all of us. There was enough room for all. The house was very well maintained and provided everything you needed. Love how they had the welcome guide/resource guide when you entered the home to refer to at any point, if needed. Truly a beautiful home and I would rent again!

8 30 somethings stayed for a bachelorette weekend. The house has everything! The trip was smooth and we enjoyed spending time with a beautiful view and nice yard. The main living room space is gorgeous and it was an easy trip downtown. The property owner is super responsive.

Our group greatly enjoyed this place as we stayed for a long weekend during Labor day. We were close to Ashville but far enough to feel away and relax. The owners were very responsive. The driveway is steep but paved so there were no issues getting up to the house. I would stay here again.

We booked this property as a home base for an Asheville family vacation. My husband was turning 70 and we invited his two children and their spouses to join us. The house itself was even better than the pictures. It was bright, sunny, clean, comfortable, and well-designed for a multi-family stay. We loved that it overlooked a farm, and we could look out on the cows. We also has wild turkeys and deer around daily. I loved that the house did not have a lot of knick knacks, and did not have other people's food left there. It was well stocked with necessities, except there were no tissues, which would have been nice to have. We appreciated the s'mores gift basket, and enjoyed making them nightly! Our only major concern was the water pressure, which was absolutely non-existent. We had to shower and rinse dishes with only drips of water. Also, the hot water took a long time to work - definitely needs to be addressed. Otherwise, our stay was fantastic, and we loved the games and the hot tub. Now, food in Fairview is not great, except for breakfast at the Local Joint. Go to dinner in Asheville, and don't waste your time trying to get a great meal in Fairview. We also loved driving to and seeing the Biltmore, Lake Lure, white water rafting in Marshall, horseback riding at Cedar Creek Stables, goat yoga at Round Mountain Creamery, and picnicking and wine tasting Souther Williams Vineyard. We would book this home again if the water pressure is improved!

This cabin was nothing short of 5 stars for me and my friends for my bachelor weekend. The weather was all over the place and having the fire pit and hot tub came in handy. Did it require a little more effort to get a Lyft/Uber, yes, but just explaining how to get to the house is all it takes. We had no issues once we explained to the drivers what to do, so getting to/from Asheville was not an issue. I am already trying to convince my friends to re-book this place again for the summer/fall!

I booked this stay for my husband’s 40th birthday to celebrate with 3 other couples. This property checked every box - I appreciated the attention to detail, amenities, and additional features that were offered with the house itself. Very easy commute to local breweries and downtown Asheville. I would absolutely come back with friends, but I’m especially excited to bring our kiddos back for a nice family vacation :)

I stayed here with a group of 12 to celebrate a bachelorette trip. The house is really new and well equipped with everything we needed during our stay! Our host, Drew was very accommodating and responsive. The location was only 20 minutes away from downtown. 10/10 could not recommend more.

We looked the open feel and amenities. Deer came wandering through and seemed accustomed to the attention. We cooked and appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the goodies basket was a very nice touch. Would recommend...Driveway might be challenging with ice ;-)

One of the nicest rentals I’ve stayed in. Home was spacious, clean and comfortable. The vintage video game table and foosball made the rainy day more enjoyable. Loved spending time by the fire pit making the s’mores that were provided and relaxing in the jacuzzi.
Views were amazing! Proximity to Asheville was fairly easy and there were a lot of restaurants nearby that we discovered that were great.
We were nervous about the driveway from the other reviews. It was long, skinny, windy and steep. All of that is true. But we were able to navigate it throughout the long weekend without any issues. It’s totally driveable, it just gets your heart pumping a little if you’re afraid of heights like I am.
We will definitely stay here again!

This place was incredible fun for our summer vacation. The cabin is beautiful and has everything for entertainment. My kids loved playing in the game room. Outside is surrounded by a lot of nature and beautiful mountain view! We kept having a visit from a deer and her fawn around the house. I highly recommend this place and definitely would love to come back!

Girls' Weekend
Our group of 9 women very much enjoyed our weekend at Sunshine Hill. The cabin is beautiful, the views are amazing. The driveway is very steep! Rideshares (Uber/Lyft) were difficult to secure, FYI. The cabin is stocked with all of the essentials. We would definitely rent this cabin again!

Bachelorette Weekend
This house was perfect!! I recently had my bachelorette in Asheville and 7 of us stayed here over the weekend. It had so much space, seating, and beds, that we were extremely comfortable during our entire stay. The hot tub was a huge hit and the fire pit tables were great during the cold evenings. The kitchen was also gorgeous and had everything we needed. Getting a ride into downtown Asheville proved to be a little difficult, but once we secured a ride, it is a short trip to the heart of the city. The hill to get up to the house is not for the faint of heart, but it is beautifully paved and not a gravel road as it was described (which was actually a huge plus!). I HIGHLY recommend this house for a group that wants to relax and have a great weekend in the mountains.

Amazing property and location
A group of seven friends spent a birthday weekend at this beautiful mountain resort. Every detail was thought of and there was even a welcome basket full of snacks waiting for us.The kitchen is fully stocked, the seating areas were perfect for talking, and the views and outdoor spaces were absolutely amazing. The house was super clean and the property manager was very responsive answering our every question. The hill is steep but all three of our cars had no problem getting into the property.

AMAZING STAY!
We recently booked this accommodation for my bachelorette party. The view was amazing, and the house was fantastic. There was plenty of room for all 10 girls to spread out yet feel together. The living space with an open concept kitchen provided the pretty space to spend time together. The accommodation is 20 minutes from Asheville (~$40 UberXL) which was perfect. It's seduced but you can quickly get to town. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Overall, it was the best weekend at the best accommodation in the Asheville area. We will be returning!

Fantastic House for Friends and Family Get-Togethers
Sunshine Hill is a wonderful place to stay in the Asheville area. It's proximity to the city, Biltmore and the airport are great but at the same time away from it all so you can just relax and enjoy the views from the deck or from within the house. The house was well appointed and we never had the feeling that we were missing anything. The firepit, conehole, and the outdoor deck and patio were well used during our stay. We were super happy to have found Sunshine Hill and we highly recommend staying here.

Amazing Stay at Sunshine Hill
We had a wonderful stay at Sunshine Hill. We stayed for the month of June while taking our kids to camp. Sunshine Hill is a beautiful new, clean home. It is well stocked with everything you need for your stay. It is private with the most beautiful view of the mountain. It is about a 20 minute drive to most places in Asheville. We were really able to explore and enjoy this magnificent place. Communication with the owner was great if we had any questions. We would highly recommend this property.

Perfect Mountain Getaway
Not only is this house gorgeous, but the views from the porch are so incredibly relaxing. A quick 15-minute drive to downtown Asheville, but a world away. We loved the hot tub, the corn hold, the arcade games, the fire pit and more. The kitchen was well stocked too, with plenty of silverware, plates, and cooking needs. Highly recommend this property.

We came to Asheville for my 40th birthday celebration. This house was perfect for all our needs. There was plenty of personal space for two families. The house was stocked with everything we needed including kid friendly items. (Dishes, cabinet locks, utensils) Beautiful home, lots of activities both inside and out. Amazing new cabin with gorgeous views
My family and my sisters family stayed at this cabin for a mini vacation and loved the home!
It’s brand new with full amenities and lovely extras like game tables and smart TVs in all the rooms. More than enough space for all of us to spread out.
I’d highly recommend this cabin for your Asheville stay. It was centrally located and we were in Asheville in 10 minutes or drove to chimney rock in 30 minutes.
