House interior is nice but not comfortable. Low back chairs and sofa not great for lounging. Need better instructions for TV and music. Exterior looked neglected with overgrown landscape and poison ivy trailing onto walkways. Railroad tie steps sinking and rotting. Lower level bed and bath extremely dark.

We stayed here for a week’s getaway to the beach. The proximity to the beach is great because you’re able to walk there if the parking gets full. We utilized the nice Weber grill as well!

Peaceful and quiet. Yard is overgrown but that adds to its charm. Missing a few amenities listed online and in guests guide book. If I was in the area I would check its availability.

Have stayed at this property several years ago. Layout of floor plan great, lovely views & access to private beach as promised.
Property is showing noticeable lack of upkeep. Many screens in doors are loose or have holes, ant issues, appliances hit or miss.
Still a beautiful rental, a little TLC would make it a five star again!

The house is very close to the beach as well as state and national parks. Safe area. Overall a fun time!!

We celebrated mother’s day at this beautiful home, nestled in the Indiana Dunes. I got to host my local area family in this beautiful home. It was perfect for entertaining, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful lake Michigan scenery.

The location is perfect for visiting the Indiana Dunes State & National Park and Lake Michigan. Very quiet and private. Had all the amenities we needed. Would recommend.

My girlfriend and our friends stayed here for the weekend and the layout was ideal for two couples. The split bedrooms allowed for the perfect amount of privacy.

We enjoyed seeing the area. The house was clean and had everything we needed but for a place with so many windows and skylights it was incredibly dark. We called it the cave. The lighting was so bad. But we walked to the beach and especially enjoyed the Pavillion at the beach. Would have been helpful to understand the parking situation at the beach (can a short term pass be obtained by guests through the city?), but we made it work. We enjoyed our visit.

Very private, well managed property. 2nd visit. Close to beach, hikes, bike trails. Short drives to grocery stores and restaurants. Great kitchen. Would stay again.

Loved the house and furnishings. Great kitchen. A few small things, ice maker didn’t work, TV wasn’t connected to network, but fixed it next day. Also, the notebook with information about the property didn’t reflect the local area, restaurants listed were 30,minutes away. We

The location was perfect. You could easily walk to the beach. I feel like the house could have been slightly cleaner but it was not bad. I did make a call to rental company and they never returned the phone call. All in all it was still a good experience.

Loved the location. Quiet. Felt the cleanliness of the property could be better. Master bed was sandy. Towels were stained. Outside area didn't look it had been cleaned in some time. Windows dirty. Garbage cans outside hadn't been emptied in some time. Also that front step is dangerous. My husband fell not thinking that the first step is so awkward. I would be concerned for elderly staying at this location. I would suggest having shampoo/conditioner and other such amenities available to quests. Perhaps a welcome basket.

This is a cute house. Great location within walking distance to two beaches. On quiet days, you can hear the waves crashing in Lake Michigan. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. Large deck spanning the back of the house. Easy access off the road.

A very nice property/location. Could have used more basic supplies such as bath and kitchen towels. We contacted management about oven not working, toilet that didn't flush properly and missing supplies. They responded someone would be by "shortly." 4 hours later person arrived, clearly hadn't been given a copy of our email/full details about issues. He did get oven working but didn't even look at the toilet. Said he'd be back to bring missing items and he never returned, We got a voicemail only message was to call back. We did and got voicemail. I sent an email telling them we never heard back and there was no response.

Excellent
Great place. Nice kitchen. Private. Short walk to the lake and sunsets. Nature and historical sights nearby. Will be back.

Quiet Get-a-Way
The property was nestled behind a bunch of trees and was secluded and quiet. It was a short walk to the beach and close to the national park. It was perfect for a quiet get-a-way and for a hike or two up the dunes.

Mid-century modern magnificence.
Sleek, classy, clean and cozy. Privacy and beauty amongst the hilly tree filled property. Get the grandeur of the dunes landscape while experiencing luxury in this cottage. This property is a work of art. Very cool.

Beautiful home
Absolutely beautiful home located s short walk from the beach and very short drive to groceries, hiking and biking. The home is very nicely decorated. There were a few minor issues with cleanliness (deck needs a good power washing due to mildew). But we loved our stay and would come back to this house again any day.
4.7
Peace and tranquillity
The property is surrounded by dense, beautiful woods and only short walk to the beach, with great sand. The water was so clear and the dunes created visual interest and beauty. The house inside was clean, decorated with the great style. The perfect getaway!

Perfect Get-away
Less than a 10 minute walk to the beach, property was secluded despite being on a residential street. House was clean well kept, with an updated kitchen. Comfortable outside, perfect location for an easy weekend

Clean and well furnished accomodation for small family very near Indiana Dunes
Ease of walking to beach and even the state park was a pleasent surprise!

Awesome Lake Michigan Bungalow
This property is in the ideal location near the water. The kitchen is large and was perfect for our Thanksgiving meal prep with plenty of kitchen supplies.

I loved that the house has huge windows which let in a lot of light, and tile and wood floors (not wall-to-wall carpeting, which triggers my allergies). The setting is lovely. Lake Michigan is just a short walk from the house. I would have liked a king sized bed, but other than that I can't think of anything I would change.

1st night AC was not working , Refrigerator wasn’t cooling, Sink was leaking, Lots of overgrowth from unmanaged landscaping. Maintenance arrive the next day and fix the issues to the best of their ability but property is in need of a lot of modern upgrades.

Wonderful extra long weekend
Everything was good about the house. Location, private beach. Close to state and National Parks. Saw deer and wild turkeys from the deck. Good value.

Great house in the trees
Fantastic location. Great deck. Very cool house.
Couple of minor improvements could be made. First, dishes were not very clean and fridge smelled like fish. Second, washer and dryer did not work.

Great place to stay, close to the beach
My family (with kids ages 10 and 7) loved our stay at this house. It was clean and well taken care of with beautiful touches. The location was perfect and we were able to explore the area easily. We loved being able to walk down the road after dinner (or drive and park on quieter nights) to spend our evenings at the beach. On our drive home, we realized we left a beloved stuffed animal at the house so I emailed Jason and he responded quickly to let me know he would contact the cleaners. We ended up turning around to retrieve it and the cleaners met us with smiles and had found the stuffed animal, so all was well! Overall, I would absolutely recommend staying here!
