About this cabin rental
A cozy remodeled 2-bedroom cabin located just a few miles from the town of Ligonier that has many different small local owned shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and small bars. Ligonier also has many family-friendly activities and one of the oldest amusement parks in the states. This cabin has all the amenities of a modern homes in a country setting. located only two miles from the 600 Acre Linn Run state park and six miles from the 60,000 Forbes state forest. Both the state park and state forest are recognized for there many miles of hiking, biking and snowmobiling trails as well as many scenic over look areas such as bears rock. Also popular hunting and fishing destinations with great native trout, white tail deer and black bear populations. there is also a small play ground only a 1/4 mile away thats excellent for kids of all ages! This cozy cabin also has a large outdoor deck, firepit and grill.

This is our second stay at the cabin and have loved it both times. Couldn’t get enough of sitting on the large fenced in porch enjoying the peacefulness. My dog liked it too. Inside is beautifully done with everything we needed.

We planned a family trip to Idlewild. This was a perfect space for a relaxing family trip. It was comfortable and relaxing. Shawn was also incredibly responsive to any questions I had and just making sure we were happy during our stay. I plan on coming back again 😊

The cabin was a perfect getaway weekend for us. It was very clean, and located close to Ligonier and parks for hiking. You can hear the water from a nearby stream, but no traffic or noise. We would definitely recommend it and hope to visit again in the future.

We will absolutely be staying here again. The host was very accommodating, and we were able to communicate with him on a day-to-day basis if needed. We arrive to the cutest and cleanest most modern cabin, the area was beyond peaceful. The cabin was fully stocked with everything, so all we had to do was bring our overnight bags and some food. The surrounding area is beautiful, and it’s only a short drive to the attractions around. Overall, our stay was amazing and I don’t have all the words to explain what a wonderful experience we had.

This cabin is so cozy and the location is very peaceful. The sound of the creek is relaxing. We felt at home immediately in this very clean cabin. The host was very responsive and friendly. The gated deck was nice for our pup to enjoy as well.

Phenomenal location - pictures don’t do it justice. Stepping outside and sitting with the sound of the nearby creek is hard to beat. Very clean with all the amenities to cook and live was very nice.

The Linn Run hideaway cabin was a very clean, nicely furnished open concept cabin. KItchen was well stocked -- even had wine glasses. Cabin has a large porch from which you can hear a nearby stream. The cabin is located very close to Linn Run State Park and is only a few minutes drive to Ligonier. Because of inclement weather, didnt get to take advantage of using the cabin outdoor areas or porch. But the cabin has a large flat screen TV and electric fireplace. The owner had several board games and DVDs available so even with the rainy weather, we had an enjoyable, relaxing stay. The cabin is in a quiet , uncrowded rural neighborhood area. The owner Shawn was readily available when we needed to contact him and, prior to our visit, emailed good directions to locate the cabin. Would highly recommend choosing this cabin.

It would be nice if it had a double bed under the bunk or in place of the bunk beds to accommodate 4 adults.

Perfect little cabin in the woods for my wife and I to get away for the weekend and relax. Clean, cozy, and comfortable. Definitely plan on going back sometime.

Lovely, pristine little getaway in a beautiful location. Dreamdale suits it perfectly…it was dreamy driving along the road to the cabin. Waking up to fresh snowfall in the woods on New Year’s Day was a memorable way to usher in the new year!

Perfect for a weekend getaway. Close enough to grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. WiFi worked great. Loved the electric fireplace. Comfy couch and beds. 10/10 would recommend!

We needed a place to come visit my husband while he was working up here and this place was perfect! Close by hiking at Linn Run state park and all the attractions in Ligonier! Host was great and checked in with us by text to make sure we had everything we needed. Will recommend to family and friends!

Shawn was a wonderful host. The cabin was perfect for our get away. The accommodations were A-1. Loved it. Will defiantly stay again.

This was our second stay at this property. We chose this property again because of how much we loved it the first time that we stayed there.
The property is spotless inside and has everything that you need including WiFi. We immediately noticed some updates in the kitchen and still love everything about the property.
We will continue to come here every year when we take our toddler to Idlewild Park for the weekend which is only minutes away.

Our stay in the cabin was one week in length. The place is very clean and perfectly organized. We definitely would recommend as a great escape from the huddle and Busel of everyday life.

This was the perfect cabin for a family getaway. The property manager was very helpful and answered all of our questions. Upon arrival, everything was clean and cozy. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay near Latrobe or Ligonier.

This is the second year we stayed at the cabin and it was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed Steelers training camp, Kennywood, and swimming at Flat Rock. We hope to be back next year before school starts.

We had a wonderful stay at this clean and well equipped cabin! This was a return trip for us and we have already booked additional visits. The host is fabulous and communication is always quick and hospitable. Great all around!

Perfect for our family of four. Stayed there during a trip to Idlewild and got to have some peace and quiet at night. Very quiet, very clean, everything you will need. Kids loved it. We will be back.
As a caution there isn’t a lot of restaurants in the area. Obviously not their fault. 5 stars from me.

This cabin was just what we were looking for. It was very clean when we arrived and super easy to get into. Communication with the owner was great, always responded within 45 minutes but usually within 20. And he was more than accommodating.
The location was exactly what we were looking for. Other cabins are near it but the woods around it makes if feel secluded.
It is only 30 minutes from a couple of bigger towns so everything is pretty accessible.
Cabin was air conditioned and had so many windows that you could always keep it whatever temperature you wanted.
Overall this cabin was beautiful and homey.
If we are ever back in the area we hope to be able to stay here again!!

This was a great place to stay. Feels like you are in the woods but close to food and activities. We loved all the space to carry our gear in the house as well as the outside area to enjoy the stars at night away from the lights. Will definitely stay again.

This lovely little cabin is literally nestled in the a state park in Western PA. Very pleasant place and well located for Laurel Ski Resort as well as other places in the area. The kitchen could have been equipped with a few additional essentials (like a peeler, cutting board, etc.) but otherwise a very nice place.

The cabin was extremely clean and very well stocked!! We enjoyed a walk on the quiet road and loved sitting around the campfire. The owners were quick to respond to my questions throughout the entire rental process. We will definitely return!

This was EXACTLY what my friends and I were looking for a quick getaway in the woods. The neighborhood is quiet and surrounded by trees and greenery. The yard has a great fireplace. The inside of the cabin must have just been remodeled, its perfect! It was so clean. We loved the inside fireplace, the comfy couch, the complete kitchen, the warm water & the nice beds.
One of the best things about this cabin were the hosts! Every email received a reply within an hour. And when we asked where we could purchase wood nearby for the fire, they dropped it off without us even asking for it!
We would highly recommend this cabin and we will be back!

We had a wonderful visit for our first 'camping' with our toddler. Great renovated cabin, modern and comfortable. The owners were very responsive to our questions too. Would definitely stay again
