We stayed here for the Highland Games at Grandfather Mountain. A lovely cabin in a perfect location.
8.0
Cabin was pretty much as described, although it could have been a little cleaner. There were mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers. The fenced yard wasn’t secure, a dog can easily get out.
6.0
Property could use a deep clean and some updates. Threadbare towels, musty upholstery, slippery front steps, additional ice trays, improved tv service, etc.
A little too remote.

This cabin was perfect for my wife and me. The grill was much appreciated. The WIFI router had to be replaced and the management company was very responsive.
Beautiful mountain Laurel in full bloom in the backyard.

We were totally pleased with our stay. The cabin was exactly as advertised and the photos were current and accurate. The cabin was spotlessly clean, all furniture was clean and comfortable, and in good repair. The kitchen was well equipped. The cabin is just about 6 miles outside of Blowing Rock with quick and easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin is a perfect size for 2 adults and the fenced yard was wonderful for our dog who made this trip with us. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. It's a cute cabin with plenty of space. We loved the huge jetted bath tub. The area was ripe with things to do. We went to Grandfather mountain and the Blowing Rock which we found incredible. Boone is close by and offers even more to do. An overall great stay.

Overall great weekend getaway! Fence is only 3-4 feet tall and not as high as we thought to feel safe for our dog to roam freely in the backyard. Houses all around and neighbors are close on both sides. These details could have been better disclosed.

Cabin was simple as listed. Nothing fancy but had what we needed to cook our meals and short drive to the blue ridge parkway. Spent most of our time hiking, enjoying outside activities and getting away. Very quite area. Liked the fence for the dogs bring large flash light for night time in back yard. Had no problems rental property management team does nice job of keeping you informed. Would stay again.

We loved our stay at Mountain Muse. It is in a great location for seeing the beautiful colors, especially on the parkway. The cabin was actually bigger than we thought it would be. The only drawback was that it was too chilly to swing in the porch swing.

This one bedroom cabin was perfect for a mountain adventure with my spouse and our dog. We loved the fenced in backyard. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and we liked the fact it was close to hiking trails and not far from downtown Blowing Rock.

Great experience! I booked the cabin for my teen daughter, myself & 2 dogs. Great communication with the property agency. The cabin sits at the end of a dead end gravel driveway, so it’s super quiet. The cabin had everything we needed. My only suggestion is to take a flashlight. The back yard gets dark! You have 2 neighbors but we never heard or saw anyone. Fenced in yard so we didn’t have to leash walk. Less than 10 minutes to Blowing Rock! Super happy with everything!
