My stay, short as it was, was great

The ambience was superb. In Spite of the location and size of the property, they new exactly how to put everything together for our experience, definitely returning

The place could do with a spacious parking lot to accommodate the lot of us but it looks impossible to expand

Disappointing overall

View was nice, location peaceful and safe but far from any shop.

Unfortunately the room we booked wasn't as described, TV was not working and wifi not reaching there. After two days they still didn't manage to get that fixed we were moved to another room. That one had everything working but bathroom was stinky and mattress uncomfortable. Travelling with my pregnant wife we were concerned about aggressive dogs in the property. When owners were out they were standing in front of the room barking for hours. Definitely I can't recommend this place for family as dogs poop were everywhere on the lawn. Swimming pool wasn't cleen either. A day before the end of our stay they organised a loud party till late night, and after short night for us they charged extra for late checkout because we overslept and were late for 30 minutes. That was ridiculous especially considering my pregnant wife who obviously has problems with sleeping plus all that noise.

The view especially at night wow,it's like you are somewhere in Durban.

I think they need an upgrade on the breakfast.

Acceptable - friendly hosts made up for shortcomings

The Guest House is in a quiet cul de sac and appears to be a safe area and there were other guests and someone to assist – she was very friendly. Parking a bit of a squash in the driveway.

I booked 2 months in advance. This double room's special feature is the pool with a view. (clearly not this room – it faced the street – the only room to do so) Guests will find a refrigerator, kitchenware, a microwave and a tea and coffee maker in the well-fitted kitchenette. (correct but no milk – I asked and she gave me some in a jug) The double room also provides guests with a barbecue. (??) This air-conditioned double room includes a flat-screen TV with cable channels, (open view) a private bathroom as well as a terrace with mountain views. (But no mountain just the road) The unit offers 1 bed Overall it was fine, basic and was clean – they don’t offer any drinks etc so all food and drink needs to brought with you or you order out – I did so for dinner as I was not going to drive anywhere in the dark. The room does not have seating other than the bed but they do have a communal lounge area in the main house that is open until +-10pm so you can go through and sit there. Breakfast cost was R95.00 – also booking said R79.00

Very Enjoyable

Great location. Wonderful view from the property. Owners were very accommodating and kind with lots of interesting information. They mad sure we were comfortable and were well taken care of. We enjoyed the extra hours after regular check out time. And they were very helpful to get to our Rovo Train Station.

All in all it was a much needed relaxed outing, homely. The host was super welcoming and friendly.

I love the quiet environment and beautiful views

I wasn't expecting to pay extra for aircon usage, I do travel a lot so this was a huge shock as it was the first time having to pay for aircon.

Alletta was a wonderful host and she made us feel at home. She is friendly and goes above and beyond her normal duties. Everything was just amazing the layout of the rooms and the view. We will definitely come back.

I really enjoyed our stay there. It was really hot but the air conditioning made it pleasant. The owner was so friendly.

Excellent view, especially in the evening. I felt like I was in Durban or Cape Town. The cleanliness also.

SAFE, CALM & BEAUTIFUL.

Aletta was very welcoming and friendly. She made sure I get the best out of the place. Would definitely go again!! Rooms are clean with a bar fridge , the game pool & swimming pool are great. The view is awesome

Only thing I didn't like is that there's cable TV. It would be better if they had a smart TV.

Hostess was very welcoming. The room was very clean and had all i needed. A pleasant stay overall.

There was no remote for the airconditioner in the room.

The view is amazing so calming and beautiful. The garden is a lovely place to sit and relax. If you need a close yet detached get away I truly recommend them. Amanda is amazing she goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.

Amazing Palm trees

I mostly liked the stuff, they were so welcoming and friendly. Not to mention the palm trees in the night. The breakfast was exactly what were imagine. The hospitality was amazing. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.
