Located right next to Namsan station. Owner is nice.
The room was only slightly bigger than a King size bed. Didnt expect the room to be this small although it has a private toilet. The bathroom door frame was so low that I constantly banged my head while going in and out. You’d probably hit the ceiling if you were 180cm tall. No TV, fridge, slippers, water boiler or whatsoever. Only given a bottle of water and a small paper cup. I regretted renting this room the moment I stepped in. Could’ve got myself a big comfortable room anywhere else with a bit of top up.

The location was great and everything was clean and tidy. The manager is very friendly and helpful.
Be prepared for a true hanok experience! If you are unaccustomed to sleeping on the floor, you may wake up with a sore back

Good location(1 min from metro)
Comfortable stay like home
Atmospheric building
Many restaurants around
Owner is good English speaker and cheerful!
Bathroom is small (although this is unavoidable due to the structure)

Kind owner, nice to try sleeping on the floor
The shower was in the middle of the bathroom so the whole floor got wet

It was a very comfortable lodging. Small room with comfortable bedding and shower + toilet. I would stay there again when I go back to Daegu.

Excellent traditional hanok dwelling with a beautiful courtyard and a charming on site owner operator, but plenty of privacy..

Good location just behind Namsan station (line 3). Really kind host. Traditional house. Quiet area.
Nothing

Great location for sightseeing, either by walking or by taking the line 3 train. Close to many nice restaurants and convenience stores.
The owner was very friendly, he showed me around the property and the room. Checked up on me regularly and spoke in English.
No onsite food facilities, but microwave and hot water are provided in a common area. So you have to either eat food from the convenience store or a restaurant. Makes it a little difficult if you're a nervous traveller (like me) or if you aren't confident in your Korean skills.
4.5
The Hanok design of the guesthouse. The owner who greeted and made sure to accomofldate me the moment i arrived.
Nothing.

The building and courtyard are beautiful! the gentleman who checked us in was so helpful and friendly.
I didn’t realize all 8 of us would be sleeping in the same room. Also the sleeping mats weren’t comfortable.
5.0
Really clean and comfortable space that keeps the old hanok style so you can experience it! We felt really welcome and could easily relax in the space. Definitely worth a visit if you want to try hanok style.
Of course hanok style means sleeping on the floor so be prepared for that. Would not recommend this type of sleeping if you cannot handle that.

The house is really beautiful with clean rooms. The hosts are really hospitable.
Everything’s fine. Though the house size might be too small for taller guys but it’s due to hanok’s design.

A beautiful Hanok with a nice garden. It was near Namsan Station, so it was easy to get around in Daegu. At night it was quiet. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Typical hanok guesthouse, small but claran room. The host was super friendly and helpful

Extremely friendly & helpful host who met us upon arrival.
The heated floors very very nice but not used to traditional floor bedding. But I knew that going in but wanted the experience.

If you want to experience Korean traditional sleeping environment, then visiting Hanok house is a must.
This was a traditional Hanok house located in center of Daegu.
Very nice host, made sure that we feel welcomed and comfortable.
The room was warm and sleeping on the ground was very pleasurable experience.
Near the property goes a mono train and buses, very close to Seoumun market.
Host doesn't speak much English but it was not a big problem.
2.5
The location was excellent, in a quiet alley right behind the subway. There were also many buses to downtown and the attractions, and plenty of food options within walking distance. The host (proprietor) was friendly, allowing us early check in, helping us with our luggage and making an effort to communicate despite the language barrier. The lounge/pantry was well appointed and spacious. The experience of sleeping on heated flooring was novel and comfy.
We chose this because we wanted a hanok experience. It would have been incredible value if you were about 5ft tall, staying in the room by yourself and unconcerned about fire safety. For two petite Asian ladies it was a two-futon only space with barely enough room to store our luggage upright and an aisle to shuffle across to access the shower and the main door. The main door had to be latched close with a padlock from the outside, which posed serious fire safety issues. The shower's ventilator was plugged into the wall socket and exposed it to water / condensation from the shower hose. Honestly, if we had paid just USD5 more per person per night, we could have stayed a properly sized fire-safe hotel room for two in a decent location. But we had really wanted the hanok experience - which we got but for too many tradeoffs

An extremely nice and helpful owner
When we just got there he welcomed us very nicely.
He also helped a lot before we left.
He walked with us to show us where theres a supermarket. And waited with us to the taxi he ordered for us.
The room is beautiful and clean
I really recommend this place

The host was very welcoming and the place is so beautiful!
2.5
The host was very welcoming. Even with bo parking provided, he let us park on the yard and tried in general to really make us feel welcome.
Both room and bath were tiny. This leads to several issues: with the hot nights, if you opt for the AC, it'll blow into your face the whole night. If you opt for the fan and open window, directly next to the window is a street lantern that will keep your room lit up all night.
