My husband and I enjoyed our stay here while we were exploring Big Bend for a few days. It was an easy drive to one of park entrances. We were glad for the close proximity of multiple restaurants, as well. The house was cozy, clean, and so unique. The host provided us with all the details we needed for a pleasant stay. We would definitely recommend. Viva Terlingua!

Great location to experience Big Bend National Park. We saw the Milky Way from the fire pit chairs, danced under the stars and enjoyed the sunsets. Love that shower and bed was comfy.

We had a great time at this property. Close to the park, lots of fun spots to eat around, and the place itself was clean and nicely furnished. The outdoor shower was a treat!

Very clean and we enjoyed the starry skies and fire pit. The whole area is very primitive but this was close to the local restaurants and there is a small grocery store a few miles away. Close to the Big Bend park entrance which was the reason for our trip.

We were really impressed with this place. It is very cute and cozy. It is right in the Ghost Town within walking distance to several places. It was only 20 mins to the park entrance and around 30 minutes to the Chisos basin. Coming back after hikes and hitting the rain shower was one of the best features. And you can grab some dinner right around the corner followed by some of the best stargazing in the country right outside the casita. We would 100% stay here again next time (assuming it isn’t already booked) because it is one of the best places to stay when visiting the park and surrounding areas. Thanks for a great visit.

Clean, walking distance to several restaurants, and very close to Big Bend National Park. The keurig was a nice touch. The only suggestion I have is to to bring another towel if you plan on hiking a lot. There’s only one bath towel per person, so when showering twice a day for a few days you might want a second towel. The bed was extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed the fire pit and board games.

The Casita is very well located and nicely laid out. Very clean and exactly as pictured. The bed was comfortable and the outside shower was divine. Nice furnishings and good coffee selection all there for your use. The only drawback I can mention is that none of the windows opened and at night it is nice to have a little fresh air coming in. The AC unit seemed to be straining quite a bit and it never got as cool in the room as I would have liked. Also, I am not personally a fan of sheets that are not 100% cotton and while these were perfectly clean, I think they were that bamboo material that caused both of us to be pretty hot at night.
Other pluses: nice firepit. Lots of fluffy towels. Bath products in both the inside and outside showers, good pillows.

My husband and I used this as a home base for our Big Bend trip. The location to the park was great. In the evenings, we could walk to the activities in Terlingua. It was very peaceful and oh those starry skies!!!

Would 10/10 stay here again! It was both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable, from the bed to the chairs to the sweet showers! I can’t wait to stay in the warmer months to try out the outdoor shower! We felt both connected to the area and a sense of privacy. It was the perfect spot!!

A friend and I stayed here for one night while we explored Big Bend/Terlingua. This was the perfect place -- it was exactly per the photos. Not super secluded like other places we stayed but it was still very quiet and was only a 3 min drive to the Starlight theater and breakfast, and an easy location to head to the park. It was nice and clean and the manager was very friendly communicating beforehand. Also THE best shower. We would definitely stay here again!

Around 12 min to one of Big Bend's entrances by Old Maverick, 45 min to Lost Mines. Understated luxury (toiletries, linens) + stylish accommodation (indoor rain shower AND outdoor shower for evening cleansing while stargazing). Very comfortable and walking distance to restaurants, no need to cook! A more refined approach to enjoying Big Bend.
