Bruyant

Le lit était très confortable, la salle de bain correcte. Ambiance cosy.

La chambre à côté de la porte d’entrée très bruyante. Le train passe également juste à côté du logement. Nous avons malheureusement profité de l’intimité des voisins de chambre. Les draps de bain ne sentaient pas très bon. Les finitions de la chambre sont à revoir (humidité sous la fenêtre, décollement de peinture). Très déçus vu le prix de la chambre.

Difficile de se reposer...

Personnel super sympa.

Isolation acoustique médiocre, trop de bruits dans la chambre. Vous entendez tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir, les personnes qu'arrivent, etc... La porte de la chambre faisait des bruits à cause de la mauvaise menuiserie à chaque fois que la porte d'entrée était ouverte à cause d'une courant d'air... Vous entendez à chaque fois que le train passe à votre côté.

Best mooi, toch geen aanrader

De kamer was schoon en het bed lag heerlijk. Hele fijne douche (alleen lastig dat er geen zeepbakje of plankje was) en voldoende shampoo, conditioner, bodylotion etc. Kamer is prachtig ingericht met een oosterse styling. Van alle gemakken voorzien met een tv, badjassen en heerlijke zachte handdoeken.

Voor een bedrag van 220 euro per nacht hadden wij wat meer gastvrijheid verwacht. Zo is er inderdaad een koffieapparaat op de kamer, maar worden er slechts 4 koffiecupjes verstrekt. Wij verbleven 3 dagen en wij vonden dat wel wat karig. Ook kun je zelf geen cupjes voor dit apparaat kopen (het is een versie voor de horeca) De kleenex dispenser was op 2 tissues na leeg en een flesje cava van 20 cl uit de minibar moet 12 euro kosten. Er is een parking op eigen terrein maar deze was tijdens onze aanwezigheid 2 van de 3 dagen vol, waardoor wij toch betaald moesten parkeren. Wat wij echt naar vonden is dat het op de kamer continue 25 graden was. Ook als je de airco naar 16 draaide. Voor ons amper uit te houden en wanneer je het raam openzet heb je veel last van de voorbij denderende treinen. Het moet gezegd worden dat wanneer je de ramen gesloten houdt, het heel goed geïsoleerd is qua geluid. Voor ons geen succes deze lokatie. Beetje gemiste kans. Zorg dat iemand zich welkom voelt en ze komen vast terug. En 40 minuten lopen naar het centrum .. geen aanrader.

-Slechte nachtrust vanwege treinverkeer vlak naast de kamer, 2 nachten nauwelijks geslapen -luxe kamer geboekt echter was deze niet luxe maar vrij standaard en sfeerloos -ontzettend duur ontbijt echter totaal speciaal, slechts wat brood met beleg -er wordt aangeboden dat de snacks en drankjes aan je worden aangeboden van het huis en later krijg je de rekening gepresenteerd

Top!

Mooie kamer, fijn bed en mooie ontvangstruimte. Prima loopafstand van het centrum en goede verwarming. Goed te vinden en gratis parkeren.

We hadden helaas na 3 minuten douchen geen warm water meer, maar mogelijk gewoon pech gehad. Een prijslijst van de minibar en drankjes uit de gezamenlijke ruimte was fijn geweest.

Welcoming, comfortable, and easy.

Ease of entry. On street parking was cheap and close to property. Clean. Comfortable sofa. Nice decor. Quiet street, so a peaceful night. Comfy, large bed.

The overhang above the toilet - we banged our heads on it more than once. The pillow was pretty solid and gave me a stiff neck, so I would've liked a lighter option. Lack of lighting in or close to the cupboard containing the coffee/tea-making facilitiies made it hard to see what I was doing.

Comfortable

Sparkling clean, comfortable bed, designed interior, friendly staff.

The doors miss a simple seal which results in noise pollution, the door trembles with every footstep. The rooms are parallel to railway. For a one night stay we had no problem but might be tricky for longer stays

Fresh and cool b&b just outside Ghent city centre.

We cycled from Bruges on the hottest of days, so the A\C was very welcome! Lovely garden where we ate breakfast in the shade. We had bikes so Ghent was easy to reach...it might be a long walk. Coffee in the room, but no tea. The trains did not bother us, despite the railway being so close.

No kettle in the room or option for tea that I could see. Finding the place was oddly not easy. The sign was hidden maybe.

Thanks for a lovely stay!

We loved our warm welcome and spotlessly clean room. It is a beautiful place. The facilities are fantastic, with a kitchen, and everything is of the highest quality. In spite of being close to the railway line, it was quiet and peaceful, with a very pretty garden.

We prefer to be closer to the centre of town. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the station, from which one then catches a tram into town.

Dissappointed

clean and close to train station

We traveled as a family and were split between 2 rooms that weren’t interleading. Main room was off the landing/dining area and the doors were glass so the privacy was not great. No bar fridge in main room. Also only received caffeinated coffee on the first day of the stay. Not allowed to bring in take aways into the room either. Just uncomfortable for a family.

Breakfast was very good. All fresh and great selection. Hotel managers very friendly. Hotel is in walking distance to the City Center (about 25min)

Superb

The room and bathroom were extremely clean and comfortable, including the massive, comfy bed. Host very helpful and friendly, location was good for us, visiting the Kuipke velodrome and the city

Cupboard was directly over the toilet, which would have been very easy to bang your head on, either when getting up or just walking into the bathroom. Snacks in the room are very expensive, but good selection.

Very good

Old building beautifully renovated plus a garden where you can eat breakfast. Excellent air conditioning which was appreciated on a hot humid day. Really nice host

No price list for mini bar or garden room bar. The room was not cleaned in between days and I found it very dark. You can hear trains but that wasn't a problem. There was a huge sealed box on the wall above the WC (maybe a boiler or air conditioning?) In my room. You could hit your head on this easily. This is in a residential area with little evidence of bars or restaurants. A tedious walk to the station and old town which was 30 mins taking into account wide roads.
