The apartment was as advertised. Host was responsive and had all the necessities upon check in. Location was great, just a few minutes walk to the beach. Would stay again.

I have stayed at more VRBO's than I can count, and this one was just ok. I think the pictures make it look nicer and bigger than it actually is. I would describe this unit as very basic. If you expect to actually cook, I'd think again as there are limited cooking supplies. The towels, including beach towels are very small, the size I'd buy for a small child. They had one bottle of soap only, in the shower and the label just said "shampoo/body wash/hand soap. It indeed felt like I was using hand soap on my hair.... Also many of the drinking glasses I went to use were absolutely filthy and had lip and finger prints on them. Just didn't have any of the nice touches I've experienced when renting from true owners before. The main screen in the living room is see through, so don't expect any privacy from neighbors who all have windows facing the unit, also if you are sensitive to noise, I'd think again. The main road is very loud and hard to sleep through the night if you are a light sleeper. It's very obvious this is managed by a property management company that has many listings in the area and feels like are trying to get away with the bare minimum effort and supplies.

The over stay was great! There were a couple of things though. The sofa bed sucked!! My poor kids has to sleep on a bed that caved in the middle because the sides of the bed didn’t lay flat. So if you need an extra bed then I’d look to rent roll away beds.
The side was an old gas stove so there was a constant strong gas smell coming from it.
One other complaint is all the neighbors put all their garbage cans in front of the garbage door so for a couple of days we were constantly having to move them so we could pull out of the garage.
On a positive note, I loved the king bed! It was so comfy. I slept like a baby. I like how property management was easy to get a hold of and were really nice and easy to work with. We will definitely work with them in the future. Thank you!

Was in town on business and spent most of my evenings here working. It was quiet and spacious. Very clean. They were very responsive to questions. Would definitely stay again. The location is perfect!

The place was just what we needed! The perfect beach apartment. Loved being so close to the water, grocery store, pier stuff. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

Thanks Beachview Realty for hosting our visit to Newport Beach! We loved the location, the proximity to the beach, and the awesome view of the ocean on the roof top deck. The upstairs bedroom space is gorgeous. We appreciated that towels and othered necessities were left in a basket at the front door for ease of use. Many people commented on the noise level. The home is located on a major road, so there was traffic noise but nothing that deferred our enjoyment of the place. Beachview was extremely proactive in reaching out to make sure that we had what we needed to have a great stay. We would definitely stay again!

Quick weekend to visit my son who lives in Costa Mesa. This was a close location to him and walkable to Newport Beach pier area. The beach was only block and half away. Water views from balcony.

It was a wonderful stay. Good location. I rented a bike for a week and that's how I got around. Close to a lot of things. Great beaches.

Excellent location for all the fun things to do in Newport Beach. We had bikes delivered for the week and that worked out perfectly. Rental had everything we needed for the 3 of us. Highly recommend.

This upstairs apartment was located in a prime spot to walk to shops, restaurants, beach, and boardwalk. The apartment itself was clean and provided the basic necessities. However if you plan to cook, be aware that there is limited cooking supplies (which is stated in the listing). The closet space was huge. The whole apartment was plenty of space for myself for just over a week stay. Perfect for solo travelers or couples. The little dining table was big enough for a person who is working remotely to be able to get some work done. I used the table for a laptop and two portable monitors. I needed to contact management around 2-3 times and they were super responsive and very friendly. I believe management also rents out the first floor unit below. No one was staying in the first floor unit until my last couple days and I could almost hear every move they made and could actually hear some of their conversations, be aware of thin walls. Overall great stay!

This cute little upstairs apartment was perfect for our weeklong stay. It's not fancy, but for the price, I wasn't expecting fancy. It was clean and tidy. The location was perfect. Very close to the beach and within walking distance to food and shops. Because our stay included Thanksgiving day, we arrived to find a disposable roasting pan and a new roll of aluminum foil. I thought that was such a thoughtful touch. The walk-in closet was huge! It accommodated suitcases and clothes for all 4 of us with room to spare. The king bed was comfortable and my sons said the pullout sofa bed was also very comfortable. The little deck is nice and has a view to the ocean. The only things missing that were in the description were the low beach chairs and ironing board. Otherwise, the description was accurate. The checkout process was very easy and quick. I would definitely recommend staying in this cute little place.

This is a nice little 1 bedroom. Very clean and close to everything you want to be close to. I've stayed at many places in Newport Beach and this one is one of the best.

Ceiling fan only ran on high. Towels are bad. Not even salt and pepper in the kitchen. No ice trays. We arrived at night and after a long flight of stairs no light had been left on..#1 dangerous #2 couldn't read keypad. You have no idea when people will arrive!
