The house was clean and welcoming. Sun porch smelled like mildew . We walked to the beach every night for the sunset. Great location for everything on the island.

Spacious house but very outdated. Uncomfortable beds!! Leaky toilets.
Visited Vacasa and they were sending maintenance on toilets but never showed up.

When we first arrived, we noticed immediately that the garbage can outside was already full and very smelly. While unpacking, we found a large centipede looking bug in a closet that scared my teen to death. The toilet in the master was very loose so we ended up going to the hardware store to buy shims. Some lamps didn’t work or were so dim you couldn’t see when using them. There were no bedspreads for the bunk beds so those people were cold.

House was a good size and fairly close to the beach. However the 4 min walk to the beach is to the inlet, (pelican cove) not the actual beach.

House location was very convenient to the area, clean and roomy.

The kitchen is very well equipped but expect to bring any and all of your own spices.. The small island grocery store is nearby and adequate. The home comes with enough soap, paper goods, trash bags etc to get you by for a couple of days. Blow dryers are provided! The tile flooring sans any rugs or carpeting is nice due to sand issues. So happy they provide a vacuum and nice mop for guests to use. *We stayed a week so...
The room layout was perfect for our party of 4 adults/4 children. The beds weren't the most comfortable and the sheets could stand to be updated (they didn't really fit the mattresses which were soft and saggy). I think the two beds are full size and the 4 bunks are twins. The sun porch is a nice bonus. Keyless entry in a very safe feeling neighborhood. The kids could walk to the park. I would definitely recommend this property.
Jill came by to check on us and gave us her cell number in the event we had any issues. She was super responsive when a question or two arose, but we really had no issues. I did forget my charger and ear buds (so cliche, right?) but when I text Jill she had them sent the next day. I would highly recommend VACASA Alabama...

nice house, nice neighborhood
This house was adequate for 2 families (10 people).
Love the location in the quiet neighborhood, yet close to our 2 favorite beaches. Kitchen was very well supplied to cook all our meals. Love the air fryer.
