We arrived to find the hot tub with no chlorine puck and the display stating that filter change was overdue. The water did not look clean. The whirlpool in the bathroom would emit some type of dirt from the jets - unusable. The Roku stick in the living room was broken. Only 2 towels per bed for the entire week. Only 1 dishwasher pod supplied. Multiple wasp nests around the property - one was in the kitchen window so we were unable to open that window. The fireplace would not work even upon following the instructions. Decks are rotted and a board was coming up. Some blinds had no stick to open or close them. For what we paid, I would have hoped that these issues would not have been present.

The stay was very relaxing. We absolutely loved the hot tub! The only negative about the place was the lack of cleanliness of the bathroom. When we first walked in and were looking around, I walked into the bathroom and immediately noticed a lot of body hair all over the floor and sink area. That was very off-putting. There were also ants in the bathroom. Other than that, we enjoyed the place and had a great stay!

Wife and I stayed for an extended weekend. It's a beautiful locale, the house is tucked out of the way and very private. We really enjoyed the ability to unwind and relax. Everything was as advertised and easy.

A really quaint location. Super well maintained. Very relaxing and still fun. My wife and our fur babies loved it and we were just minutes away from a bunch of great hikes. We will definitely visit here again!

Couldn't enjoy the outside because of all the wasps nests around the house. Holes in the enclosed porch screens let the wasps inside so we spent more times indoors than out.

Owner communicated often. No issues during the stay. House was clean and well stocked. Very relaxing and we all had a lot of fun!

we had a great weekend at this cabin, it is very cute. lots of hornets nest though, and really strong chlorine in hot tub, i actually got a rash and i wasn't in it very long. but other than that, i would stay here again.

Lovely stay with Ohio family in a great location. Home was large with on an extensive lot. Living room area very comfy to relax in. Loved especially that it was dog friendly. Check in was later and checkout much earlier then we were used to but we made it work. We only stayed two nights. Renting a boat on Lake Logan was a lot of fun since we also brought paddleboards. We hiked Old Man's Cave and the Rock House which was so beautiful. We loved the area and want to hopefully return next summer to explore more in the area. Thank you so much for opening your lovely home to rentals.

Fantastic location, a short drive from most of the sights. Clean property and a good amount of cookware available. Check in and check out was as easy as it could be.

We had a lovely 4 day stay at the cabin with our adult kids! The cabin was very clean and had most everything you needed. The hot tub was amazing and soo relaxing! The area is very quiet and your in close proximity to all the hiking trails. The only recommendation I would add is to place a full size mirror somewhere in the house, none of the bedrooms had one and the mirror in the bathroom was quite challenging for shorter people.

Nice, well-appointed home in the HH. Would definitely recommend for families.

Location was great and close to everything and main attractions. It rained a few of our days but we were able to keep ourselves busy. Nice that several stores were pet friendly. Hope to come back to the area soon to finish the hiking spots we didn’t get to.

We had a wonderful weekend reconnecting in this private home. It had everything we needed and more. The home is close enough to everything but still very private. The only concern I can think of is the drop shoot in the bathroom to the basement. I was a nervous wreck my 2 year old would find it and fall down it. We were able to block it off. But, it could be a potential problem for a family with young children. Checking in could not have been easier. My husband loved the cabin and asked me to find another one just like it for our next adventure. I would absolutely recommend any of my friends or family stay here and enjoy their weekend as we did.

Convenient location. Very close to hiking trails and lake. Loved that the kitchen had plenty of dishes and pots/pans. Plenty of space for our family. We all enjoyed the hot tub.
I do feel that whoever cleans could have done a better job. There was hair on the floor in tbe bathroom and the kitchen counters had crumbs on them. The rag that was provided for the kitchen looks like it is ready to retire.
Overall, it's a really nice cabin and we enjoyed ourselves.

This rental in the woods was absolutely perfect and private in the Hocking Hills area. Very close to everything, Food, Trails, Coffee, etc. The house was very clean and had everything you need. Hot Tub was very clean and refreshing after a day of hiking. We brought 2 dog's and the property/unit was perfect for them, very large and set-up pet friendly. Quiet, no neighbors, very relaxing place!! Jessica the host was very responsive and made sure our stay was excellent. I have nothing but good to say about this rental, I will be back for sure. I highly recommend this unit!

We loved this place! The pictures do not do the property justice. This cabin is immaculate. We loved the time that we were there, and wished we had a few more days. You are close to trails where we took our dog with us. He loved the yard and was just as happy with his time there as we were. If you stay here, make sure you paint a rock! What a great little touch! Thank you so much!!!

Our stay was perfect! We needed to get away from the city and bond. We baked cookies and watched Christmas movies. The store wasn't a bad drive. The hot tub was so perfect and the jacuzzi was the perfect me time!

As soon as Waze told us we were 1000 feet from the cabin a deer ran across the road. We saw another deer the next day. That was really cool.
My wife likes to walk a cabin as soon as we get in .After walking the cabin she commented how clean the place was. She even commented that it was well stocked with needed supplies
We slept in the room with the King size bed. . We had a great sleep on the mattress. We took advantage of the hot tub. It was very clean and the temperature was perfect. The TV next to the hot tub was a nice touch. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and found everything we needed.
We use VRBO once or twice a year. We have done so over the last 10 years. This was one of the nicest places we have stayed. If we ever return to Hocking Hills this cabin will be our choice.

We loved our stay, it was a beautiful property and the house was beautiful. Just a few minor things- one was that the batteries in the remotes for every bedroom were dead, and there was no propane in the grill. But other than that it was exactly what we wanted.

The cabin was beautiful and well stocked with everything you need to make a meal, close to hiking. Hot tub was enjoyed by everyone. I would definitely rent this property again in the future, great place to relax, play games and enjoy the outdoors. Picnic table has been replaced with nice patio furniture front and back patios.
My dogs also loved the hiking and cabin.
Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Great Location and Property!
Overall a great stay! The rock painting kit is a great idea, especially for my artsy daughter!! The place is VERY clean and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the enclosed hot tub; only bummer was being virtually unable to watch the TV d/t internet issues…which is a known Hocking Hills issue. We were only able to finally watch something the last night of our stay. The property is nice as well and the fire pit area was nice too. Would definitely stay here again. I would humbly suggest some hooks for towels in the hot tub area.
