Excellent experience, would come back for a longer stay

Εξαιρετικό πρωινό, με ποικιλία, ποιότητα και ντόπια προϊόντα. Το προσωπικό πολύ φιλικό και εξυπηρετικό. Το ξενοδοχείο είναι σε μία ήσυχη, γραφική τοποθεσία.

Οι οδηγίες google maps είναι άστοχες για να πλησιασεί κανείς το parking με αυτοκίνητο. Συνηστώ πρώτα επικοινωνία με το ξενοδοχείο.

Beautiful village stay, offering a truly Greek experience with a relaxing atmosphere and great connections.

True to its name, a boutique stay in a very typically Greek corner of the Mani peninsula. For drivers (which is 100% necessary) this offered an amazing launchpad to go both north and south of the peninsula, offering a great relaxing vibe for moments away from exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and available to offer advise, also providing breakfast with a smile.

Just be aware you need a car should you want to go here. For those also fearful of driving abroad, the drive up to the village may be enough to make you reconsider as it was quite the scare going up a cliff side at night. This said, if you are fine with driving in Greece, you will be fine. Note however that the roads around Mani are mostly like this anyway. Hotel itself, we had a few bugs in the room - would be nice to not have to deal with them, however I’m conscious this is very typical in Greek stays.

Very memorable and beautiful stay, even for a short time. I’ll be back!

Beautiful, unique hotel in the middle of a very special part of Greece. The rooms are amazing - showcasing both modern touches with old, historic stonework. The local town is quiet, calming, and rich with history. The lovely staff were so inviting and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious!

Boutique hotel with potential – but our room was not ideal.

Very nice and welcoming staff. Breakfast (which was served in another building complex) was good and had everything you need to start the day. Everything was clean.

The specific room we were placed in was right next to the reception which led to some noice during the day, but that was not too disturbing during the evening/night. While the room size on paper was as advertised, our room felt particularly small due to its arch ceiling. The room was unfortunately also very dark. There is no separate window and the patio doors lead to a (public) courtyard. There are no curtains which meant we needed to keep the outside shutter doors closed to have privacy which did not help the lack of light in the room. Notably, the patio doors were not equipped with mosquito nets so it is impossible to keep the doors open without inviting the many insects present in the (beautiful) mountain village into the room. At night, it was thus necessary to keep the doors closed and leave the air condition switched on (which is not something we like at all but that may be a personal preference). The room also felt quite damp, especially after taking a shower as the ventilation in the bathroom was not strong enough and the humidity spread to the adjacent small room (and as said, it was not possible to open the window for longer). Considering the humid condition in the bathroom, we found it particularly unfortunate that the towels were not changed during room service. The hotel has potential but I would not book our specific room again (in particular not for the asking price).

Charming room and location

Calm, charming location. The staff at the breakfast lounge was hyper nice and dedicated.

The reservation was for 3 people, but there were only 2 coffee mugs and 2 sets of shampoo, etc. The extra bed was quite hard.

Located in the peaceful and magical village of Oitylo, this boutique hotel was absolutely perfect. The breakfast is excellent, with everything homemade by two kind and lovely women. Absolutely recommended

Πραγματικά μπράβο σας ,μείναμε παρά πολύ ικανοποιημένοι .

Πραγματικά παιδιά ήταν άριστα όλα ….και η τοποθεσία αλλά και η παροχές σε σχέση με την τιμή . Ήταν τόσο ήσυχο …τόσο όμορφο και καθαρο που πραγματικά άξιζε και με το παραπάνω . Πραγματικά παιδιά το συνιστώ …και αν μου δοθεί η ευκαιρία για μανη θα ξαναπηγαίναμε στο ίδιο ξενοδοχείο . Τοποθεσία :10 Προσωπικό :10 Δωμάτιο :10 Καθαριότητα :10 Ευγένεια :10

I highly recommend this place. I regret not booking the larger room, though.

The staff were exceptional, and the room was impeccably clean. The breakfast was excellent, featuring high-quality, house-made items that I truly appreciated.

I miss a curtain from the room to improve my privancy and the natural lighting.

Great stay in amazing place, with great breakfast

The location is in the middle of a very small authentic Mani village, magical place. The room was very beautiful with everything you need, newly furnished with taste. Outside a rooftop with stunning 360 view on both seaside and village. The breakfast varied and well prepared, super satisfying!

Picturesque village and hotel with fresh rooms

Fresh and modern rooms with an old style external. Cosy little village with amazing view over the coast underneath and mountains around. The breakfast room and breakfast were very fresh and the staff was super friendly.

It is not possible to get all the way to the hotel by car. There was a parking space but with our Peugeot 2008 the streets and corners where too tight to get to the hotel parking and I left the car within a five minutes walk (close to the village school). Also, another thing we didn't like was that the toilet was a little separate room, and there was no airway into that. When visiting the toilet, the only way to get it to not smell is to leave the door open, which leads to the room smelling instead.

Charmantes kleines Hotel

Wunderschönes charmantes Hotel in traumhafter Kulisse. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Personal ist super lieb und aufmerksam. Auch das Frühstück war toll. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Gläser auf dem Zimmer wären toll.

Hotel con encanto en un entorno ruinoso

Hotel muy moderno y nuevo. Buenos acabados y buena decoración. Desayuno excelente. Cama y ropa de cama excelente. Baño y ducha muy agradables.

La ubicación . Parecia un pueblo fantasma con muchas casas derruidas.Inaccesible en coche. Junto a edificios en ruinas. Habitación muy pequeña y.

Eine ausgesprochen geschmackvolle „Anlage“ kombiniert mit einem Personal was seines Gleichen sucht. Ist ein Kurzaufenthalt über die Mani wert. Nicht zu vergessen ist das ausgesprochen gute und reichhaltige Frühstück.

Great stay, a bit overpriced for what it offered

The room was pretty and quite comfy. The bed was a plus! The stuff was extra helpful and kind. Breakfast was very good. Overall a nice stay!

There was no noise cancelation at the room. We could hear everything from the room upstairs (steps, talking, doors opening etc) which was quite disappointing. The bathroom even though it was very nice and big, had a small problem with humidity as it had poor ventilation and there was no way to dry the towels. The shower and soap hanger were not very "steady" on the wall. A coffee maker or some glasses in the room would be nice as there is no 24/7 reception or something available in the area. The room that we stayed was different from the one we booked and the photos of the specific room, were downloaded from booking.com during our stay there, which was a bit weird.

Ευγενικό προσωπικό.

Πολύ κακη εμπειρία , πρώτον λένε το πρωινό είναι μέχρι 10:30 αλλά μπορείς να πας μέχρι τις 10. Είμασταν έξω από την πόρτα του πρωινού 10:03 και δεν μας άνοιξαν να μας σερβίρουν. Δεύτερον το πρωινό έχει λιγότερα πράγματα από ότι έχω στο ψυγείο μου χωρίς κανένα ίχνος υπερβολής. Πραγματικά ελάχιστα πράγματα το θετικό ότι έχει φρέσκο φυσικό χυμό πορτοκαλί αυτό μόνο. Δεύτερον είμασταν σε ένα δωμάτιο στο οποίο από πάνω μας εμένε μια οικογένεια και πραγματικά ακούγαμε τα πάντα περπατούσαν το βράδυ και μας ξυπνούσε ο θόρυβος από τα βήματα. Κάθε πρωί στις 8 μας ξυπνούσε το ξυπνητήρι από το δίπλα δωμάτιο ,η ηχομόνωση ανύπαρκτη και το κερασάκι ήταν ότι όταν έκαναν μπάνιο οι από πάνω έσταζε νερό δίπλα από το κρεβάτι μας. Επίσης είναι το πρώτο ξενοδοχείο που δεν έχει καρτελάκια για τις πόρτες να δηλώνει αν θελουμε καθαριότητα η να μην ενοχλήσουν και έτσι τι πιο λογικό στις διακοπές σου να σε παίρνουν τηλ το πρωί ενώ κοιμάσαι και να σε ξυπνάνε για να σε ρωτήσουν αν θες καθαριότητα.

I’ve had a terrible experience. Do not recommend it at all!

The room was so terrible and unsanitary that we had to leave in the middle of our first night there. We arrived to find first that the room had no balcony (contrary to how it was advertised). We went out for a walk and when we returned the room was full of all kinds of insects: worms, spiders (alive and dead), various flying insects (see attached pictures). Though 24-hour reception was advertised, there was no one there. I called our host and he said there was nothing he could do, and refused to come see the unsanitary state of the room. We just could not fathom spending the night in this room, and ended up leaving at 01:10am (once again after calling the host, who didn’t seem bothered).

Dans un petit village typique

Chambre dans un caveau en pierre dans une maison toute en pierres. Très bon petit-déjeuner avec des produits locaux et frais, préparé sur le moment. Petros et Venetia sont des hôtes très accueillants et attentifs.

Nous n'avons pas dormi la première nuit à cause des moustiques. Heureusement, nos hôtes ont ensuite mis un produit qui a chassé les moustiques et nous a pernis de dormir la deuxième nuit. La chambre était humide, car l'aération de la douche/WC n'est pas optimale. Dans l'ensemble la chambre ne correspond pas à un 4*.

Une pépite dans le Magne

L’hôte est une magnifique bâtisse en pierres, la chambre est grande, bien aménagée, décoration sobre mais moderne. Le personnel est charmant. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, varié et délicieux. Très bonne situation pour visiter le Magne.

I would love to come back.

Hotel is located in a very nice not crowded village in the mountains not far from the wonderful beach. The room was well-designed. In the room, it was nothing too much and all decorations suited perfectly. Bath cosmetics were from a good organic brand. Powerful hairdryer. The hotel offers an amazing breakfast with local specialties.

The hotel room had a smell of recently made renovation. So we prefer to keep windows open, to have a bit more of fresh air.

Lovely and caring staff, gigantic and delicious breakfast, comfortable bed, difficult to park the car and definitely ask

The staff was super polite and kind to us and they made definitely the best part of out accommodation. Then, unexpectedly we found out that we deserved breakfast and that made us very happy. the breakfast was amazing, so much food, all homemade with local delicacies and additional food that could be cooked on the spot for us. Brilliant indeed! Also, the mattress in the room was super comfortable and all the furnitures were well made and good quality. Everything we needed was provided to us.

I didn’t enjoy much the fact that the hotel was inside the stone village. Although it was nice to walk through the small stone houses it was extremely difficult to park the car. Our car got damaged in the end when we tried to leave the last day. Another thing that I didn’t enjoy was the location of the room. We were at the basement with no view and we had to keep the small windows closed all the time in order not to be seen by people outside. We had access to a common yard but still no view. For the amount of money that we’ ve spent we have expected a bit of a view and an open air room and not having the feeling that we are “imprisonment”.
