Room was very nice, hotel was very nice. No complaints whatsoever.
I didn’t know the valet was going to be charged to my room, so I paid the valet guy $50 cash. Needless to say, he was excited to get a $50 tip since my card got charged for the valet. Honestly, my fault for not asking, but it would be nice to let people know in case they are an idiot or have anxiety like me. Either way, I am pretty sure I made his day, so that’s good!

We walked to concert. Easy location. Parking everywhere on next street. Valet available. Challenge to find places to eat around there but not hotels fault. Just letting other travelers know.
Would have felt better with in room safe but security in lobby was above normal.

We were there for a funeral which just so happened to be the same weekend as a St. Pattys parade AND a volleyball tournament so the breakfast was chaotic as a result....A LOT of people stepping all over each other; but under the circumstances the hotel did what it could to accomodate everyone....our first room had some issues so we were changed to a new room the same night of arrival and that one was better....parking was valet and we never really had to wait very long for our vehicle while we were there so that was good too.
Just minor issues all things considered which are mentioned above.

Very friendly staff!
Ran out of a lot of items at breakfast. Staff seemed to be behind on keeping up.

The front desk staff was friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Only a 20 minute walk to the arch.
The lights are pretty bright in the room. None work as a nightlight. Body wash in the shower was missing.

Great location downtown in the middle of everything and close to plenty of food!!!
Some of the staff were absolutely not customer service centered people. If you don't like people or care about your customers, why work at the front counter?? She didn't look at her customers, she didn't get off her chair to help people, she acted like having to do her job was the last thing she wanted to do. She was the worst and needs to be repositioned to a back-of-the-house position! However most of the guys working here were friendly and approachable, helping to solve issues immediately! It just sucked having to wait until someone who cared would actually help.

The big lobby
The location was horrible couldn’t find it had to look for a sign off street parking that you had to pay for , didn’t have enough bedding for the pull out beds.

Decent location just far away parking options
The WiFi didn’t work for a whole day so no tv. Cleaning people didn’t want to clean our room.
There was a problem finding our reservation waited an hour just for them to magically find it when I was about to cancel reservation.
Found hair in shower and over the soap for shower.

The staff was friendly
It was very hard to find the hotel, as the signage is directly on the building and very small. It was also difficult to find a place to park in order to come in and check in. There is no self-parking, paid street parking is extremely limited, and the $45 a night valet parking price is high for the location. There were several big events in the area and while the staff was friendly and helpful, they were very unprepared. We arrived a little early to check in and had to wait over an hour for a room to be ready (even after checking in through the Hilton app). You could tell that the room had been turned over very quickly as there was still trash in the bathroom and the floors hadn’t been vacuumed. We were also missing linen for the pull out bed and when we called down to the desk, we were told that they were completely out of pillows and that we would have to come and get the sheets ourselves. The rooms are a bit small and do not really fit 2-4 people, unless you like to literally sleep on top of each other. Once the pull out bed is out, there is only about a foot of space between the wall and the foot of the bed, blocking access to the bathroom and the door, which could be unsafe during an emergency. The breakfast was okay, about what you’d expect for a hotel breakfast but the tables and floors in the dining room were very dirty (and this was around 6:30/7am- before the breakfast rush). Lastly, there was some sort of software update that deactivated the keys on Friday. That’s fine and all, but there was no notification other than a letter posted by the elevator that was printed in size 12 point font. If you didn’t get close to it to read it, you would have never known that you needed to stop at the desk and get a new key. An elevator also broke down between Friday and Saturday, leaving 2 elevators to service 12 floors between 2 hotels.

3. Rooms smaller than regular home2 suites
4. Parking was expensive too need to mention while booking
5. 316 room number bed was not comfortable at all.

The girl at the front desk was excellent. The building and it's history was interesting.
The neighborhood. I don't know if it was from outside or inside but the I could smell marijuana most of the night.

location and the interior is very nice
advertisement stated Roll-In-Shower and the shower has a 8” ledge to get over.
Staff members Octavia and Destiny won’t accept
responsibility and change me to a proper room i can safely shower. i haven’t showered in two days and that’s not a concern for Octavia not Destiny.
i made several calls to guest services to explain my issue and i was over talked, lied to, dismissed, and nothing was done even after i went downstairs to the front desk.

Nothing
No parking, room keys didn't work- for anyone. Never had enough breakfast. Valet broke my key fob.

The staff was welcoming. My request for early check in was granted.
The parking situation needs attention. It is very limited if you don't want to pay $45 a night for valet service. The elevator area and elevators were filthy. There was a large stain on THE MAIN comforter on the bed. When we called the front desk to make them aware, they brought a let out couch sheet set with a still damp blanket in it. My shade was broken, so we were up with the sun. It was also hard to find the Hotel using GPS. Lastly on the website there is a picture of an outdoor pool. There is no pool! $150 per night for 2 nights. My Wife and I were celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary. I was disappointed because we have stayed in Home 2 Suites in other states and had great experiences.

The key lock was broken so we had to get someone to let us in and out when we want to leave or return which was inconvenient

All staff was very friendly and accommodating, considerate and attentive. Front desk staff especially kind. and considerate. Great food selections set-up, and taste, very clean beautifully furnished accommodating excellent dining environment. Our room sleeping, relaxing and snacking, bathroom and personal areas great. Valet parking was pronto courteous and done with a smile.I wish my schedule had allowed me to spend more time in it.
The city street department repeatedly closing the entrances to the hotel.

We booked our room on-line in the mid-afternoon when we spontaneously decided to stay over night to attend the Cardinals game that evening. We drove from the Gateway Arch parking garage a few minutes later and checked in. The valet parking secured our vehicle. We walked back to the river front, then to the game, and back that evening.
The building is being renovated, resulting in the sidewalks along the sides of the building being closed. We walked an extra block to avoid these which put us on streets on which we felt comfortable (we have lived and traveled in many urban environments). This was a minor inconvenience which will be resolved when the renovations are finished.
