Named in tribute to the owner's father's rise from humble origins on a Georgia farm to a pioneering career as a trucker and manufactured home builder, this coastal retreat offers an ideal getaway in Mexico Beach. Just steps from white sand and emerald waters, this three-bedroom is equipped for both convenience and comfort.

The bright, single-level floor plan features an open layout and inviting coastal décor. The full, island kitchen comes well-equipped with gorgeous counters and all the stainless steel appliances you'll need for home-cooking. Sit-down meal can be enjoyed at the dining table set for six. Unwind in one of the plush, living room armchairs or sofa while streaming shows and movies on the flatscreen smart TV. Modern essentials include central AC, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.

Morning coffee, sunset cocktails, and afternoon cookouts can be enjoyed out on the front deck equipped with a private gas grill.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Everyone fell in love with the kitchen and the layout of the home. We never felt crowed and everything has been thought of. Quick walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Absolutely amazing home and perfect for our crew!

The house/kitchen/master bedroom and bathroom are really nice for a vacation home. The walk to the beach is not bad and the outdoor shower was great for washing off after a day in the sand. The house is a manufactured home though, so there are subtle give-aways that it is not the highest quality house. We had an issue with the septic/sewage venting out of the tub drain and sink drain. Overall, this is a nice place to spend a short beach vacation with family/friends!

My wife and I stayed here for a week during our recent honeymoon, and we loved it. The house was very clean and tidy,and everything worked like a charm;no issues with amenities, wifi or anything else that can be a problem. We loved the fact that Mexico Beach is more of a private community and not downtown Panama City or Destin--very quiet and laid back place for lots of relaxing. When we did want to see a few things,Panama City/Destin is just a short .scenic drive west on the coastal highway. The beach was awesome,and at times,we almost had the entire thing to ourselves. It is a very nice place to relax and unwind,family or couple friendly. As far as the house itself,it was a very nice place to stay with just about anything and everything you need except groceries,which you will need for an extended stay. There are several small convenience stores nearby with the necessities, but a large grocery store is about 20 minutes away in Port St. Joe,about 20 minutes east of Mexico Beach. All-in-all,we loved our stay in the "C Shucker" and look forward to future stays in this community.

My husband and I, along with his 91 year old father and 19 year old niece spent the week in this lovely house. When we walked it we immediately noticed the clean smell and then were blown away with how large the house is! The pictures don't do it justice. Everything we needed was provided. We had plenty of space to spread out and never felt like we were on top of each other. The only thing that needs improvement, as several others have mentioned, they desperately need to buy new frying pans.

The house was wonderful for a small family with a short walk to the beach. Not a lot of porch/grilling area but it was perfect for us. We had a wedding to attend so we didn’t need the grill. The only negative - they need new cooking pans.

Cute little cottage has all the amenities as being at home. The house sits in a quiet road just a few minutes from the beach. Not a lot to do at Mexico beach but enjoy peace and quiet. So if your looking for entertainment it’s not here bring your own. Lol. The only thing I know I could have used was a mop. The floor needed mopping in the true sense not cleaning with one of the cleaning pads. Our feet were black on the first day. Enjoyed our stay most definitely would book again.

This house is beautiful. Inside is beautifully done. Perfect proximity to the beach. Not a long walk at all. Walking distances to some of the food trucks for lunch and ice cream for dinner. Most nights when we drive into Port St. Joe for dinner which was only 20 minutes away. Really was perfect. We had a wonderful vacation.

Great time. Clean, modern house with plenty of space. Close to beach. Close to Port St Joe where there are plenty of restaurants, shops. Loved visiting Port San Blas and PC Conservation Park.

The house was very well decorated and in a nice location where you could see the ocean from the small front deck. Large TV was great and perfect for watching the World Cup! Only improvement is they need to add some ceiling fans in all the rooms.

The house is very cute, and very clean with the view of the ocean. Perfectly located between Port St. Joe and PCB, you get the beauty of the Pan Handle without the busy and overcrowded. The proximity to WindMark which offers great eateries and entertainment makes the “C” Shucker a winner place to be at. Will definitely return

It was a lovely getaway. Just cross a street to get to the beach. Plenty of towels and linens provided. Very Clean! I'm glad I brought my own skillet bc theirs was cheap and tiny but otherwise the kitchen was well stocked. I wish they had wall hooks for wet towels in the bathroom. Pretty basic. Our kids were with us and they loved the bunk bed bedroom but gosh was it insanely squeaky! The walls are paper thin and they kept us up with every toss and turn. Bummer. Also an outdoor shower would be such a help! Our internet and tv went out for a full day bc it rained I guess.. and I kept texting the number provided and no answer back. I ended up calling headquarters I think, and they had someone call me back and he helped the situation. All in all.. a great time. Just providing certain details for others.

Other than the sprinklers turning on a 630 am and hitting the side of the house (in the master bedroom) we had a wonderful time. House was beautiful and comfortable and a short walk to the beach.

This home exceeded our expectations. It’s beautiful, spacious, and convenient. We had everything we needed. There’s a grill, baking pans, and a k-cup/coffee pot combo. The walk to the beach was very easy, even for a 4 and 1 year old. The bedrooms are well enough removed from the living area that once the littles were down for the night we did not have to worry about being too noisy. I would absolutely stay again. The house was very spacious and accommodated 4 adults and 2 kids with room to spare. 2 of the adults are disabled and were able to get around wonderfully. The location was perfect! Less than a 3 minute walk from the front steps to being on the beach (including lots of “mom look!”s from the kids and crossing the boardwalk. It was walking distance from a public access with a wheelchair ramp, an awesome Icecream shop, and an awesome restaurant. The kitchen had mostly everything to cook family meals while on vacation. I hope we can share another family vacation here again!

Everything about this house was great. It came stocked with plenty of towels, extra blankets and throws, and basic kitchen necessities. It was clean and a VERY short walk to the beach. The beach there was clean and not crowded at all. The furniture and beds were super comfy. It was in a quiet spot.. The robot vac and kuerig were nice extras.

Loved the ease of access to beach, and the house interior was very nicely done. It suited our needs. Bunk beds were a hit with the small children. Master bed and bath were beautiful. Kitchen was spacious with plenty of room for extra hands to help prepare meals. We thought there was an outdoor shower for after beach clean up, but really it’s just a garden hose with spray attachment on the ground by the side door. Not a huge deal, though.
