Recommend

I admire the stay! For the price we paid it was amazing. Staff was friendly and helped all the way, making our travel ease and nice. The location is really good - close to all the sightseeings and shopping malls. Building itself is in good condition and the place is really clean. Loved staying there and would recommend it to all of my friends

stylisches Budapest - nicht auf der Luxus-Seite, sondern auf der "normal"-Seite.

liegt sehr zentral, vom Keleti-Bhf schnell zu Fuß erreichbar, irgendwie stylisch - typisch Budapest. 24h geöffnet, Supermarkt und Restaurants nahe bei. Sehr hifreiches und nettes Personal.

Ich hatte ohne Frühstück gebucht, wollte dann morgends am Bhf Keleti frühstücken - aber da gibt es nicht so viele Plätze zur Auswahl - und die wenigen sind alle proppenvoll - zumindest zum Frühstück.

Niente.....

Stanza minuscola, senza aria e senza l'aria condizionata, tutta la notte ha funzionato il piccolo ventilatore, ho già occhi gonfi....,sono 2 prese ,una per la TV, un'altra per il decoder, la terza per il frigo manca , ho chiesto alla reception una prolunga e mi hanno detto che non c'è....la colazione dicono che sarà un box ( 2 panini vuoti e una marmellata) la fermata di metro vicino e piena di barboni,puzza di pipi, paura per la nostra sicurezza....ho dormito solo 3 ore....non vedo l'ora di andarmene via....la TV ha solo 5 programmi gratis....da scappare via.....dormivo meglio nella macchina...il soggiorno vale massimo 30 euro...

La "ruin zone" de Budapest.

No recuerdo nada positivo destacable.

El hotel está ubicado en un edificio en ruinas, al principio daba miedo entrar (un poco "creepy", la verdad). La ventana de la habitació daba a una especie de parquing /patio interno, no entraba luz natural. La zona muy ruidosa, comercial, aunque bien comunicada. El personal no se enteraba de mucho, poco helpful en todo sentido. No se cumplieron algunas condiciones que figuraban en la web (entrada antes o salida después, tampoco había secador de pelo ni shampoo).

Csalódás ,nem számít a vendég igazán ott se

Volt, amikor személyesen mentem foglalni,mert úgy olcsóbb, aztán a tulajdonos meglátta H olcsóbban adta S recepciós S szobát és elkezdett vele veszekedni. Többet pénzt akart tölem levenni mint a bookingon, aztán eljöttem inkább. Előtte lévő napok, a szobákba kéne fehér fény, hogy az ember rendesen lássa magát, anélkül egészségtelen ott lenni több napot. Túl kicsi szobák túl sok pénzért, takarítás???

* Straße ist SEHR laut, rund um die Uhr, das war mir nicht bewußt gewesen * Hotel im Hinterhof, Zimmer sehr dunkel * WLAN nur mäßig, zumindest in meinem Zimmer

Boa Localização!

O pequeno almoço era entregue em box, básico mas dá perfeitamente para arrancar o dia. Ter um mini frigorifico. A localização e simpatia dos funcionários foi o melhor. O Hotel é bastante central e está rodeado de supermercados e restaurantes. A partir dali dá para conhecer bem a cidade.

O quarto tinha umas cortinas que além de não serem blackouts não tapavam completamente a janela e à noite até tinha holofotes na rua que davam luz para o quarto. O barulho do telefone da recepção que tocava altissimo. Estavamos instalados no piso da recepção.

Good

The staff were truly amazing, so friendly, helpful and professional. They speak excellent English.

Facilities need a lot of work. I'm very concerned about the concrete floors on upper levels which are very weak and need urgent repair. They would not survive a major earthquake and it's a risk to hotel guests. I would like to receive your feedback to me on this.

Great location for a night or two in Budapest

The price was a bit higher than usual due to FIA Formula 1 competition at Hungaroring during that weekend.

Passable for one night, it needs renovation

The hotel is very well located, just walking distance from the main train station and very close to metro and bus stations. There are also all shops you need around. The staff were very kind and helpful. The beds were comfortable.

The place really lacks some deep cleaning and renovation. The shower walls were full of mold, the shower holder was broken, so you either had the shower in your face or facing the floor. The ventilation in the bathroom was so dusty! For the price we paid (which was a lot compared to normal prices in Budapest, due to the F1 race event), we expected much more.

Very affordable and ok Hotel for a short stay

Romany at reception was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Loaction is very conveniently located only a 10 minute walk from Keleti train station. We could park our car off street sheltered and secure. This is great and not too expensive for 14 Euros per night

The rooms are very small and not suitable for people with lots of luggage. There is no Kettel or any means of making coffee or tea in the rooms. This would be a great improvement.

Comfortable bed, good location, well maintained

Walking distance to major sites. Comfortable beds, clean room. This is my third visit to Budapest and hotels there are notorious for posting false photos, overrating their stars etc. This was not the case, it is a good and well maintained small size hotel.

My room was super small. I was travelling alone, so it was fine, but it had a queen size bed and was meant for 2 people which would be super crowded. There are larger rooms in this hotel, not sure if they cost more. Hairdryer would be nice. Ventilation system in the bathroom is not great, cigarette smell coming thru the vent at times. The entrance to the hotel was a bit surprising, felt shady, but once I got to the reception it was fine.

Great place if you sort the shower head and electricity cutting out

location excellent staff really pleasant

Electricity cut out twice. The final time was middle of night when we needed to shower for an early flight. The receptionist was unable to give us another room so it was a rather uncomfortable experience to pack snd shower by iPhone torch. Shower head was also broke so water went everywhere unless you held the shower head and this made showering difficult

Perfect for our needs on a short weekend trip

Staff friendly and helpful, rooms clean, beds comfortable, parking was available behind the gate, which was nice extra security for the car, drinks available for purchase by the front desk

Accommodations are basic, rooms are small, there is a lot of street noise at night (especially on a Saturday, when we were there), no breakfast option

Not the greatest but good location

24/7 check in and out, great location

Mold in the shower, couldn't get fresh towels the first day because we weren't given a door sign, nobody that's not on the booking can come to your room even if it's just for 5 minutes in the middle of the day to get changed. No blackout curtains and a lamp right in front the window. Defect toilet seat.

not coming back

it’s really, really old. and the room doesn’t look like the pictures, it’s way more older that than. Some of the electrical connections didn’t work.

A great hotel in very central area at excellent value for money.

This is a great hotel in very central area, at excellent value for money. The rooms are spacious, clean, warm, with comfortable beds. My room also had a kitchenette. Bathrooms are also spacious, with good showers. Staff at the reception are very friendly and helpful. You can also get drinks there. The hotel is located inside an atrium, partially covered providing extra protection in case of rain. Wifi is good and reliable. Trams, buses and metro are all close by, and the Keleti Railway Station within good walking distance. Good selection of restaurants, cafes and bars as well as various shops all also close by.

Some very minor repairs here and there indicated.
