We love James Island and this home is in the heart of it. It was everything we were looking for! It felt like home away from home! The fenced back yard is perfect when traveling with your fur babies. The neighborhood is great for walking as well. This cute home is clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. There is a small pond by the deck and driveway that was beautiful with water lily’s in vibrant bloom every morning! We had great and prompt communication with Kelly, the host. The dryer stopped working and was fixed the same day.
We would love to come back to this property in the near future and recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway in this area.

The property was as advertised! It was clean and was close enough to DT Charleston and Folly Beach to make going to either of them less than 15 minutes depending on traffic. There are several grocery stores and some decent restaurants nearby, overall it was a great experience.

Updates to property are top notch, and the location is central for quick access to dining/shopping. Baguette Magic is very close and was a favorite for breakfast. Fenced in yard with doggy door was very convenient.

House was very clean and everything was as expected.
The neighborhood is generally very quiet, but one annoyance that the host cannot control is the neighbors like to use their leaf blowers. Also, traffic on Folly Road gets very heavy at times.

It’s perfect when traveling with a pet with the big fenced backyard. It’s located conveniently between Folly Beach and downtown Charleston so we didn’t need to drive far to explore the general area. We would definitely stay there again.

Wife and I traveled to Charleston to meet our son whom is a US Marine Stationed in North Carolina. We had a great time! House was located just a few minutes from downtown, quiet neighborhood. We cooked an entire Thanksgiving dinner in the rental, it had everything we needed. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

We came down for our sons wedding and wanted a rental near his home on James Island. This home was very comfortable, updated and quite enjoyable on the back deck listening to the waterfall of the koi pond. Well cared for and would definitely recommend.

This charming home was perfect for our girl's trip. The location was convenient to all Charleston has to offer. The koi pond was lovely and the house was well stocked. We will definitely be back.

The house was very clean and as pictures presented. Has a yard which was nice for my doggie. The only downside was it had one bathroom and it was a bit small but we managed for 3 people. Had to drive to the beaches and Charleston left early to accommodate.

Very nice home. Cozy and comfortable. Liked that it was a close distance to the beach and Charleston. Definitely recommend.

I visited as part of a group with three couples. Each couple had a room and we found the house to be bigger, cleaner and nicer than expected! The living room was plenty for all of us to play games and watch a movie. We all had a night of grilling with the comfy furniture. It was SO nice to have a fenced yard for the dogs (the neighbor’s dog even came to visit once on accident and they were super nice). A perfect mix of privacy and neighbors. I went for a little run around the neighborhood and it’s fun to look at all the different houses. Walgreens is right there and the beach was an easy drive. We had such a good time and would come back!
My one warning is that there are fire ants in the back yard in some places! I got a few bites but once I wore shoes instead of sandals I was fine and my dogs didn’t show any sign of being bit.
Kelly was communicative and kind in the booking process. Thank you!

This home is very clean and well cared for. The AC works very well and all appliances are like new. The kitchen is well stocked if you want to make a meal.
The house is very comfortable to come back to after a day at the beach or sightseeing. It is a very easy and short drive in and out of the city or to the beach. The fenced in yard is great if you are traveling with your dog. We enjoyed our stay and would rent this property again.

Visited Charleston with 5 adults, a child and a dog. The home was well furnished and clean. The location was perfect, about 15 minutes to historic downtown and Folly beach. There was a doggy door (could be closed) and the fenced in back yard was great. Overall very happy with the property and our stay!

Delightful Home Away from Home
This safe, quiet, clean, and comfortable home was the perfect setting for our girl’s trip. The location was ideal to reach the sights easily and quickly. The hosts were very accommodating with plenty of towels, comfortable beds, and local information. Our visiting time was mostly spent in the living room or back deck while also appreciating the private space of our own bedroom. The fish pond added to the outdoor ambience. However, remember your bug spray; you’re in the Deep South. If we are ever back in the area, we would stay here again.
