This was our second time to stay here. Both times were excellent. The house is very roomy, large lot with basketball court ( which was used for pickleball this year). Hope to come back next year!

This property was just like it was listed. Quiet neighborhood at the top of lake. Less boat traffic which was perfect. House was comfortable and spacious. It was stocked with all the basic necessities and even had extras. We had access to extra lake toys. The personal boat launch was an awesome bonus. Owners were just a phone call away and even allowed us to check in early.

We have been to this property a couple times now and love it! I highly recommend staying here, great dock, flat property nice amenities.

We enjoyed our stay. The place was as advertised. It was well stocked and communication with Mr. Murphy was very prompt.
It was clean and the extras were beneficial. For example, we used the bbq pit. Also the lily pad.
The only downside was the AC upstairs. It took so long to cool off. However the basement was perfect with the game room & bunk beds. It was cool enough too.

This was a great spot for our entire family to stay for our son’s graduation. Close to Auburn and a picturesque lakefront setting. Well appointed and comfortable for all.

We had a great stay! It was the perfect location for my family for Thanksgiving and the Iron Bowl! Emails and text messages set us up for our arrival/check in.

We really enjoyed staying here. The house was well equipped and super quiet, which is important for those of us who like to sleep in. We brought our boat and had no trouble using the ramp and dock and it was really nice to have both on site. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. We had an issue come up with our boat trailer when we were leaving and the owner had no problem accommodating us while we tried to get that figured out. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for a couple of days over fall break. The layout of the house is great and our kids had a great time with the outside toys and the game room. The kitchen was well-appointed and there’s plenty of parking. The communication with the owner was very good as well.

Although it was a quick trip, we packed a lot in two days. The swimming was wonderful. We brought our boat so the boat ramp was a real plus! Relaxing on this huge dock was so comfortable. The home was cozy and spotless. Perfect for the family, even had rooms we did not use.The flat lawn made it so easy to go in and out.Your home was well represented on line. Hope to stay there again. Thank you so much!

Home was clean, spacious and location was exceptional. Finding a rental on Lake Martin with a flat yard is not an easy task but this home has it! We played corn hole, croquet and thoroughly enjoyed our time off the water as well as on. The furnishings are a little dated but there was no shortage of toys, games and ways to have fun. The refrigerator stopped working day one but the owners made sure we had a replacement as soon as possible. Overall, great experience for all who stayed there.

This place was amazing and our family had a wonderful time. We came to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Auburn University and have a little extended family vacation. Eight of us stayed at the house and it fit us wonderfully. We were able to take advantage of everything the house has to offer - the pool/pingpong table, basketball court, fire pit, canoe and the dock. We rented a pontoon boat for a day and it was amazing to have the dock to pull up to. One of my favorite spots was the large screened porch to sit and watch the water and the wildlife. Bald eagles, ducks, fox and all kinds of other birds were fun to watch. The little community where this house is located is very nice and we even met a couple of the neighbors. Our daughter's first comment when she arrived was "I love that we are adding more memories to a house that obviously has so many good ones already." The owners were wonderful with any questions I had and responded very quickly. I highly recommend this house and if we ever have the chance to come to the area again, I would want to stay here.

I will start off with the positive. The kitchen is very well stocked and the rec room was fun with the pool table and ping pong table. Trying to find the key in the dark was not easy, because we couldn’t check in until 5. Having to get the key from a door that you can’t even unlock and then you have to go back outside around to the side of the house in the dark to get in. Once inside the house I noticed a very bad musty smell. The first thing I did was go buy air fresheners & candles to try to get rid of the musty smell. After staying a day I figured out where the musty smell was coming from. There looked like black mold growing on the ceiling in the living room and on the beams. I was a little concerned because my 2 year old grandson was staying there too. The house was very dated. Carpet rolling up throughout. The master bedroom was very nice and spacious. Overall I would not recommend this property.

Other than the football game not going our way it was a wonderful weekend. The house more than met our needs. The outside spaces were fabulous. The view of the lake was great. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was very well equipped.

We are lake people and have had lake houses so we know they get wore down & being stationed at Maxwell AFB in the 70s have been coming to Lake Martin since . first we did really enjoy the So let me say at this point .....the house has a few things need fixing. The grilling porch needs repairs steps to its a lil scary. The trees need trimming over it . Then there's the DOCKS. If I sound upset Boy I was and am. We had 3 year old almost fall due to stair railings coming out when going down to playroom. Understandable its a old house....he was lil scared but we caught him. The back porch needs a better surface. You will slip even when theres no water on it. The kids almost took tumble several times. Now the docks.........1. My wonderful nephew fell down when rotten wood give out (place chair over so no one else got hurt) 2. Tried to fish at night but when you turn fan and lights on theres sparks. 3. The new dock is just wrong all around. Its not safe for kids. I know its made to lower and rise but kids will get stuck under the water side when someone steps on the dock side. It looks like this / IT NEEDS COUNTER WEIGHT !

This was the perfect place for a group of 10 friends to have a fun yet relaxing weekend by the lake catching each other up on our lives and reminiscing on past memories while making new ones. It was the perfect amount of space for all of us to gather, cook and eat together, laugh and play together, and to sit, talk and catch up together. Highly recommend.

Great for all ages!
If you are looking for R & R look no further. This lake property has all you need to enjoy your time outdoors and indoors. We are a game playing family and the yard, the dock, the ping-pong and pool table met our needs. The bunk room was perfect for our grandsons and the split level gave everyone their own space too.

Beautiful property with space to spread out!
Our family had a great time on vacation and staying at this lake house. We had two adults and 4 teens. We all had plenty of room to spread out. We spent every night downstairs playing board games, pool and ping pong. During the day we swam, played on the water mat, fished from the dock and grilled out. My husband & our oldest son are fishermen so we brought our boat. It was so nice having a private boat launch and boat lift. We also rented a pontoon boat from Northside Marina and had a blast pulling the kids on the tubes. We would ride to Lakeside Marina for gas, ice cream and hot wings. Thanks Mike & Stacy for being so helpful while we were there! We’ll be back ❤️

Awesome home!
So nice! Home was clean and had everything we needed. Our teenagers were thrilled with everything there was to entertain them - Water toys and game room. No one turned on a TV, and not much cell use. We had a wonderful 4th of July right there!

Wonderful place on Lake Martin.
The property was clean, well appointed and had everything you could want. The view was lovely, the water is clean and deep. There were all kinds of games and toys for every age. Enjoyed the pool table and foosball games. Nice wharf for fishing or just sitting. Very quiet area. Hope to return to this place again. There is no cable TV but didn't miss it. They have Roku and Apple TV, just bring your own account login info. The kitchen is large, too, has everything you need. Can't say enough about how wonderful this property is in every way. Hope to go back soon.

Amazing Nostalgic Lake House
I couldn’t begin to describe the amenities this house offered for our extended family vacation. With 4 adults and 6 kids in tow ages 8-13, there was never an “I’m bored” moment. When we first got there, the kids immediately changed into their bathing suits and jumped off the dock. The next day we hung around the property and while the kids were swimming an ice cream boat pulled up! The 4 girls stayed in the basement bedroom bunk room which also supplied a pool/ping pong table, fooseball and loads of games. Right outside the door was a basketball pad and a fire pit. We also played a game of croquet one day. We were entertained 24/7. I love older lake homes and this one made me feel like I could envision the memories the family made growing up coming to this house. The new modern mega mansions on Lake Martin are nice and very nice to look at but I like staying in a more true Lake House. They did a very nice job displaying some of the vintage decor I’m assuming was original to the house through the years. If I had to change anything about the house, I would take the carpet out of the master bath.
We rented a tritoon boat and tube from Lakeside Marina at Bay Pines which was only a 15 minute drive from the house. Super super nice owner!
The little town of Dadeville was only about a 15 minute drive from the house.
We ordered out from Bob’s Fine Dining one night. Warning: it is a hole in the wall and he works by himself. Don’t expect fancy but the hamburger steak was really good and I went back the next night to get a piece of his homemade red velvet cake!
I highly recommend this house to anyone looking to entertain kids!

Home away from home
We absolutely loved our stay at this property! It really was a home away from home. The house was very clean and the owners quickly answered any questions we had. The screened in back porch over looking the lake was perfect for morning coffee and the game room kept us entertained the entire weekend. The boat launch on the property was a huge plus for launching jet skis and the dock was amazing! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Lake Martin!
