Location is fantastic close to Kilkee cliff walk and beach and very close to Kilrush, such a beautiful town centre. Michael is a great host! We recommend to everyone.

Size of cottage, rural location, comfortable beds
Was an old cottage so wasn't expecting it to be spotless but there were lots of cobwebs in upstairs bedroom

This place is a hidden gem! The view from the living areas is incredible. Could sit there all day looking out over the atlantic. Just breathtaking. Was surprised that there is a blue flag beach so near by. Loved getting out and walking the local area. Doonbeg is close by and has places to eat, and a small shop for food which is perfect. Location is great for exploring County Clare
Nothing comes to mind, to us it was perfect

absolutely fabulous location, stone’s throw from the beach, stunning views

Michael was fabulous, always there to help when needed but not intrusive. The location was amazing and all you could need in the houses.
We didn't know that electricity was extra, that wasn't clear on booking.com. However, that was dealt with very well by Michael.

Remote, peaceful, lovely scenery, close to beaches, nice for adults and young kids. Michael was a lovely friendly host, we were having issues with the Internet in the house and Michael had someone sort it the next day.
Not much shops around the area, not much to do for teen kids,

Location was amazing
Had to pay €50 deposit on arrival and only got €10 back on departure. We were charged additional money for electricity and weren't notified in advance of this additional cost.

The scenery is stunning. Beautiful quiet area in traditional cottage. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and book in future.

It was exactly as described and the Ocean views were fantastic!
Nothing really but it is a little remote and a car is necessary!

Our holiday went too fast
There was nothing not to like, it was beautiful.

The property had everything we needed and was clean
The location of the property was further outside the town than we expected

We loved our stay we met lovely people, the views were beautiful and so close to the beach. We hope to return again.
The only thing we didn't like was the bathroom was too small.

Lovely, traditional cottage in Doonbeg. Remote and peaceful. Michael was a great host, we really enjoyed our stay, thank you Michael.
A little bit cold so would recommend taking extra layers and blankets.
4.4
Peaceful location, beautiful scenery, great base for touring clare, perfect for our family trip with young kids

Place was a little outdated and could do with a make over. A bath would've been great with small children.

Spectacular views of the Atlantic, Short walk to White Strand beach which is safe with a life guard on duty.
Electric stove in the living room

The cottage was big comfortable & clean.Lovely view from the cottage.
It was well in off the main road...very remote
One would not be able to walk into Doonbeg for a meal or drink. A car is absolutely vital..

Location was very good, close to the beach.home was cosy and private with excellent views

Self catering accommodation with all modern appliances. Its in the heart of a farming community if this is the holiday you are looking for with stunning sea views. Road widths narrow so drive slow and give way to traffic. Nearest beach 1Km. Only a short trip into Doonbeg village or Kilkee. Owner Michael really pleasant and very helpful. Has good WIFI. Stairs to attic bedroom narrow so check with owner for suitability of use. Would go back again.
The weather! Its a typical Irish Summer so pack warm clothes and rain gear.
