About this cabin rental
Family & dog friendly cabin in the cool Pines trees. 3 bedrooms, 2 bath cozy cabin with open kitchen. Elk herds can be found relaxing along the back fence. You will mostly likely see elk, deer, or a rabbit during your stay. Large fenced in backyard with small kids play set. Cornhole, fourscore, hammock and lots of room for your kids to run in the backyard. The house is close to unique restaurants & Tonto Natural Bridge is a 10-minute drive. The kitchen is fully stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, and a few flavors for your beverage of choice. Kids plates, bowels, cups, and utensils are also provided. There is a crib for infant/toddler use, we ask that you bring your own sheet if you plan on using the crib. Dog dishes are available as well as a dog bed. We kindly ask the if you allow your animal on the furniture, you put down a sheet to limit hair getting on the furniture. Please pick up after your pet prior to departing. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabin. The cabin is in the woods so there is a chance there may be a bug or spider in the house, while it's not the norm, it does happen on occasion. We ask that you do follow the local fire restrictions if/when in place.

This was our 3rd. stay at this cabin. My Daughter and I really love it here and so do our Dogs. It was very clean and maintained well inside and out. Everything was great and relaxing. The Host was very pleasant to work with. We plan on going back again.

We booked this cabin (for 11 nights) in Pine to get away from the Phoenix heat in August. The Pine temperatures were between 17 and 22 degrees cooler than Phoenix and ranged from the high 50's for low temps and the high 80's for high temps.
The cabin itself was well-stocked with utensils and the expected kitchen appliances (including a few dozen K-cups and a Keurig-type coffee maker).
The TV was a smart TV, and you can connect to various streaming services if you already subscribe, and you did get various channels on Hulu-TV, however, there were not standard local stations available. Internet speed was good. The cabin was clean, and well-maintained and the owner was easy to contact.
One thing--can't forget to mention the Elk and deer. Every day when I walked my two dogs in the morning, I would see between six and a dozen elk and deer. I got to within 20 feet of them even with my two (friendly GSP) dogs. They would wander around the cabin also every day.
The back yard is well fenced with a six foot high chain link fence and there is a doggy door so the dogs could go in and out.
Overall was a great stay.

This wonderful 3 bedroom cabin is perfectly situated in the neighborhood for nearby forest hiking and restaurants. The kitchen is updated and great layout for family cooking and eating. There is a fenced in backyard, great for the dog.
There is a playground in backyard. Backyard covered deck for morning coffee and front yard has nice deck for sunset relaxing.
Two bathrooms are perfect for family.
The couch is very cozy in the evening.
Overall really nice place to stay.

The house is very nice and nicely furnished (and roomier than our house in Tucson). It has a relatively large fenced back yard, which our 5 month-old puppy appreciated, and we were visited by elk in the evenings and early mornings! All in all we very much enjoyed our stay.

We wanted to getaway for the weekend to a cool place in the woods. This place was perfect! It was fully stocked with multiple coffee makers! The furniture decorations were very cute. The layout was great, it has 3 bedrooms, the master has its own bathroom.
The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. A hiking path entrance was just a few blocks away. We are coming back in two months with family!!

We decided last minute to try and get away for President's Day weekend, and we are so lucky that we found this cabin. It was easy to book, the check-in process was a breeze, and it looks exactly like the pictures. Everything was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was great, and the fenced in backyard was just perfect for our dog. I also would like to thank the property managers for their incredible communication and their help when we couldn't quite figure out the gas fireplace. Located in one of our favorite neighborhoods in Pine, this cabin is a quick drive away from Old Country Inn for amazing pizza and from the local market if there's anything you need to grab or that you may have forgotten to pack. This trip was just with me, my husband, and our pup, but it was actually really large and could easily accommodate two couples and children. We also got to experience some snow which was really cool! We loved our stay and can't recommend this cabin for anyone who is looking for a getaway like we were. Thank you!!

My husband and I enjoyed the long weekend here with our three young kids, my parents, and our dog. We love the neighborhood (we’ve stayed in the area before), and this has been our best VRBO yet. Everything was clean, the kitchen is spacious and very well equipped, including stuff for the kids! The kids also loved playing on the swing set in the backyard. 10/10 We hope to come back again.

The place is great. Great space with all the amenities. Modern kitchen, large master bed and bath. Great fenced backyard for the dog. Can access the trail 100m up. I worked remotely and the internet service was adequate for what I needed. Highly recommend and would book again.

The place is in excellent condition. All things were as advertised. Nice and quiet. Only heard the FedEx truck pass the house one or two times over the six days, nobody else. Exactly the peace and quiet we were looking for. Convenient stores and restaurants in Pine. Only about 15 minutes from Payson. Excellent location.

We did Thanksgiving at the property and it was perfect. Huge kitchen and incredibly provisioned.
Also, we were greeted by 10+ elk when we arrived and they visited throughout our stay—so cool!

We spent 5 days in this beautiful cabin. From the moment we walked in the door we felt like we were at home. Everything was super clean. The kitchen is large has everything needed to cook. I loved the fireplace, perfect for the cold mornings. The outdoor space was great to sit and watch the Elk roam through the neighborhood! Lindsay is a great host and we will definitely be back in the near future!

This was the 2nd.time we stayed at this cabin. We enjoyed it as much as the first. The cabin is well maintained and everything wokked perfect. Very clean and well layed out. Lindsay the host is very responsive. Couldn't ask for anything better.
Enjoyed the view, privacy, and peace and quiet. The Elk was on a regular routine and came by daily to visit. We will be coming back here again. We just love this place.

This was our 3rd visit to this particular property. We keep coming back because it is perfect for our family of 4 (two young kids) and dog. It is well stocked and even has some toys and games for the kids.

Great cabin for a mountain getaway with my sisters. Checking in and out was easy, everything was spotless, and Lindsay was responsive to any questions we had. The cabin is spacious and cozy at the same time – very charming. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed. For any cooks out there, you will love it. The outdoor space is also very nice, with several places to sit both in front and back. We were treated to at least a dozen elk one morning, just behind the backyard fence. While we didn’t have children or dogs with us, the house is set up for both – probably the most welcoming rental I’ve seen in that regard. There’s even a separate cabinet and drawer with dishes and silverware for kids. So thoughtful. We would stay here again.

elk in the backyard - perfect! We couldn't connect to the net - called the owner and had the password verified and were up and running in a minute - it's a great neighborhood.

We stayed at this lovely cabin for a family getaway including our two dogs. The cabin was immaculate and stocked with everything we could have needed and more. It was very comfortable and welcoming.The back yard is fenced and perfect for dogs. There is even a dog door so the pups could let themselves out. We saw elk in the mornings and evenings. A group of 7 of them hung out right behind the fenced and laid down for a rest in the shade. We even got to watch a baby elk nursing. The location is very convenient, close to a grocery store restaurants, and many hiking trails. Host Lindsay was quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely be coming back to this cabin!

This property was a real find. It felt secluded, was perfectly maintained and the amenities were amazing. The family enjoyed their stay and still continue to rave about their experiences. Could not recommend this property enough.

The cabin was perfect for our family. Our grandkids enjoyed watching the elk everyday. The weather was great for sitting outside and taking walks. We would definitely return .

Although Pine is a sleepy little town, you're close enough to Payson for anything you might need, but the house has about everything you'd need. Try the Pinewood Tavern for a great burger and shoot up to Strawberry for an empanada. Several places have dog friendly patios as well.
If you're looking for a quiet getaway with all the conveniences this should fit the bill. Just wish there was a hot tub for our weary bones after all the hiking adventures.
Finally, Lindsay was very prompt to answer any questions we had.

This place is a 5 Star Plus. Everything was fantastic. All of the kitchen appliances were like new. Enjoyed the ceiling recessed lighting with all the switches that were clearly marked. Took the guesswork out of what switch went where. Enjoyed the back deck with fenced in yard for our dogs. The view was very relaxing with the wind blowing through the pines. Seen elk up close every day. Finally had bathrooms that had water pressure and drains that drained. Loved the walk-in shower in the master bathroom. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. Only have one regret and that was that we had to leave. Definitely want to stay here again.

We have stayed in a lot of Vrbos, and this one was one of the best! The home was absolutely gorgeous! The kitchen was fantastic and great to cook in, bedrooms very comfortable, and the living room cozy. Our toddler loved the playhouse and yard. It was really neat to see the elk every day. The location is quiet and secluded, but it’s also a very short drive to the town area, which was a huge plus. Communication was great. Overall, we were completely happy and would stay here again! 10/10 recommend!
