About this house rental
Welcome to Sandpiper Cottage!
Our charming cottage, nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac in the small peaceful seaside hamlet of Trusthorpe, offers you the perfect seaside holiday home experience. We are proud to have achieved 5-star reviews from all our guests since we opened in summer 2020. We promise you won’t be disappointed!
Sandpiper Cottage is a spotlessly clean, sunny, detached self-catering bungalow, which is extremely spacious, comfortable and welcoming, being maintained by the owners, Val and David, to a very high standard.
Sandpiper Cottage is only minutes from the dog-friendly beach, yet a short drive to a host of Lincolnshire's many attractions. Midway between Sutton-On-Sea and Mablethorpe on the Lincolnshire coast, Sandpiper Cottage is perfectly situated for exploring all the area has to offer.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the conservatory while planning your day, or watch the sun go down with a glass in hand on the patio.
Sandpiper has ample off-road parking for two cars in the drive, and has secure garage storage for cycles. We can now offer three night weekend or four night weekday breaks, please ask for a quote.
Sandpiper Cottage offers two large, airy double bedrooms – one kingsize with an ensuite shower room (with sink and toilet), and the other with twin beds, adjacent to our sparkling, fully-tiled family bathroom.
Both bedrooms have comfortable beds with quality bed linen and comfy pillows. Along with plenty of storage space, personal safe, hairdryers, smartphone chargers/alarm clocks, etc., there is everything you could need for a perfect holiday.
The large, modern and well-equipped dining kitchen has everything you need to cook a great meal, and includes an electric Hob and new electric double Oven, Fridge/freezer, Microwave, Air Fryer, filter Coffee machine, Dishwasher and Washer/dryer. A door from the kitchen leads into our conservatory, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable alternative eating and relaxing area, looking out onto our pretty, private, and secure garden.
Move through into our cosy lounge with two comfy leather recliners and sofa, and a 55” Samsung Smart TV with DVD player. Complimentary ultra-fast free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
Through French windows, the lounge leads onto a private terrace with a bistro table and chairs, where you can enjoy your morning coffee whilst planning the day’s adventures. There are sun loungers and beach towels available.
Trusthorpe is the ideal base for discovering the Lincolnshire coastline alongside other coastal towns such as Chapel St. Leonards, Sutton-on-Sea and Mablethorpe, with attractions nearby. The traditional larger seaside town of Skegness is a short drive away with lots to keep the family entertained, providing an array of shops, cafes, funfairs & amusements, restaurants and pubs to enjoy.
Trusthorpe also offers an ideal base to explore the nearby characterful little market towns of Louth, Alford, Horncastle and Spilsby, with so much to offer the interested traveller, in addition to the several coastal nature reserves for those interested in bird-spotting, and walking, with or without your dog.

Sandpiper is a lovely clean & well equipped property. The beds are probably the most comfortable we have ever had in a rental home. The property is in a very quiet locality with the local shops & amenities close by.
The property is a credit to its owners.

We had a lovely relaxing break while staying at Sandpiper cottage, the property is ideally located, is very welcoming and is very well looked after by the friendly host's, it's clean, cosy and spacious with all the amenities you'd need for a relaxing chilled peaceful stay, the property is only a short walk from the beautiful and spacious beach where you can walk for miles in either direction, taking in the fresh sea air, returning home later in the day to relax in the recliner chairs while watching a film.
Local shops, places to explore and places to eat are also only a short walk or short drive away.
We look forward to our next relaxing break at this beautiful little cottage.

Excellent modern property in a really smart close. The garden was superbly secure for our little cockapoo Sophie, no worries about her going out in the middle of the night, which was a great peace of mind to us. The bungalow was spacious and beautifully decorated, the best we have stayed in! The owners were very approachable and attentive
Which means a lot when you are away from home. We loved the short walk to the beach, and being able to walk as far as you wished. A great stay!

The property is well sized for 4 adults, with established gardens that are not overlooked. the property was spotless and was pretty much like going from home to home. everything you could think of had been catered for.
great comms from Val the property owner. 5 mins walk to the beach/bar, 15/20 minute walk to Mablethorpe.
if planning a trip back to the Trusthorpe area I would choose and recommend this property.
