About this house rental
At Sweetbriar Lakefront 2, the beach is right out your door, and there is easy access to all the activities Lake Tahoe offers - golfing and gambling, hiking and biking, dining and relaxing, swimming and skiing. Soak in the views from dawn to dusk from this charming, comfortable, lakefront townhouse!
Relax on your lakefront deck, equipped with two lounges, patio table and chairs, and gas barbecue (available to use in winter as well). Enjoy the gas fireplace on chilly mornings.
Three bedrooms, (King, Queen and 2 Twin Beds) and a master bath with lakeview jacuzzi tub. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors for the best view. A renovated, fully-equipped kitchen offers everything you need to enjoy dining-in. Located on a sandy beach with magnificent, sweeping Tahoe views, welcome to our lakefront getaway. Our townhome is ideal for couples and families - up to six people including the children.
Note - Two cars maximum, no extra parking is available. There is an attached one-car garage, (will it a vehicle up to 75" wide by 186" long x 66" high or the size of a BMW X3) and one in the parking area.
You can leave your car parked and walk to Safeway for groceries and a latte. For dining out, Spindleshanks, Jason's, Whitecaps Pizza, Lanza's, and Las Panchitas are within walking distance. And it is a short drive to Garwoods, Wolfdales, the Ritz Carlton, Christy Hill, Drunken Monkey, Lone Eagle Grill and many other fine restaurants.
The property is two-stories in a gated, (in summer) twelve-unit development. Note that full weeks run from Friday to Friday. Email if questions about arrival/departure days.
We have many extras, including free wifi, beach accessories (chairs, beach towels), washer/dryer, and three flat screen TVs.
The location, midway between Tahoe City and Incline Village is pure paradise. Just 10 minutes to Northstar and a half hour to Palisades/Alpine for world class skiing, summer hiking and mountain biking.
Outdoor enthusiasts may step out the door to enjoy a beach walk, kayak or paddle on crystal clear water, hike on a pristine Tahoe mountain trail, or cross the street to Brockway Golf Course. Also convenient to bicycle trails, the Treetops Adventure Park, mini golf and casinos.

Your townhouse was perfect! The views are absolutely amazing. It is very comfortable, with nice touches, and extremely well equipped for enjoying time at Tahoe. It is also super clean! Thank you for sharing your home, we hope to return soon!

We have been renting houses on Lake Tahoe for 10+ years. This place has the best views of any place we've stayed. The place was super clean and well stocked. We were able to cook meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a very peaceful time spent. It was also great to be able to walk to the grocery store, restaurants, and other shopping. We would stay here again!

An excellent location, wonderful property, and a gracious, responsive host made this a trip to remember. The photos are very representative but still don't do the place justice. Along with being clean, modern and fully stocked, it is obvious Karen understands what sets a vacation home apart from the rest. Every dish, pot, pan and other amenity was something that I would put in my own home, not typical vacation rental stuff! The location is perfect, a quick walk to Safeway (24 hours!), good local restaurants, too many activities to mention, plus a beach and lake on the doorstep.
The only negative I can think of is that I forgot to bring a glass of wine into the jacuzzi with me!

We’re still in awe of the location of this property. This is truly the only way to do Lake Tahoe - right on its shores overlooking the blue water. Probably the best VRBO experience we’ve had so far. Impeccable place, clean, modern, well maintained, simply wonderful. And close to shops, restaurants, and ski resorts. Thank you for making our pre X-mas vacation so memorable. We’ll have to come back in the summer.

This vacation will go in our books as one of the best. We did everything you could possibly do in Lake Tahoe and this VRBO was in the best location for everything we did. Karen was great to work with and helped with dining and activity options. The beach location could not be any better. That view!!! The unit was clean and updated. The only tiny issue we had was parking. There is a one car garage but our vehicle would not fit. There is a parking space not too far away. I will definitely call Karen the next time I plan a visit to Lake Tahoe. Thank you again!!!
