Branchwater was breathtaking! The lodge was gorgeous, spacious, and the property was nestled in an area with the most beautiful views. We can’t wait to come back!

This is our second annual family trip to the amazing house. There is so much room inside and outside the house for the kids to have fun. The house come with a lot of games, we love playing cornhole on the deck and the kids love playing pool. It was perfect for the dogs since there is a fenced in back yard and water bowls for the dogs. The house and property is jaw dropping and is well maintained. The location is quiet and perfect to relax in nature. There is a hiking trail at the end of the street that is perfect for all ages. I highly recommend this house.

We enjoyed a long holiday weekend at Branchwater Lodge. Unit was well-stocked and great for our get-together. We also had a private chef cook amazing meals for our group. Everyone enjoyed the stay. Only minor complaint was having to drive all our trash to a local dump site, but this is apparently a Big Bear City ordinance.

Sibling Getaway
We had an amazing stay this past weekend at this Big Bear location. We went with all of our siblings ages 18-32 and our kids ages 8 months to 7 years. The rooms were great and we loved the variety of bed setup and room layouts. The room with the bunkbed was perfect for us with our 2 children and the adjoining rooms were great for the single siblings. We would definitely rent this location again.

Beautiful Branchwater Lodge
Large classy log cabin, impeccably decorated, loaded with extra comforts with everything you need for a pleasant and memorable stay. Our family’s second year in a row renting this gorgeous private property. Stocked to the hilt and super comfortable for adults, teens, children and pets.
My only suggestions would be that the home provide a cupboard or two for guests to keep dried goods and food they bring. Also, the Sono Sound system that is advertised Is not available to renters and signs are posted that it is only available to the residence and not to be used. We downloaded the App, it didn’t work. It would be great if it was made available with good instructions. Also the outdoor porch heater didn’t work.
These complaints did not interrupt our ability to have a very Grand time and we truly were sad to leave. This magical place is worth it.

Anniversary/4th of July Getaway
My husband and I loved this cabin so much!! So did our dogs! Yes, it was way too big for the two of us but the location was exactly what we were looking for to get away and relax, stay away from the crowds, and to not have a lot of firework noise for our dogs. The owners put a lot of thought and care into this cabin. They had absolutely everything you could need or think of. It was clean and comfortable, the kitchen stocked, and a gorgeous outdoor area and jacuzzi! The birds were so much fun to feed and we saw a bear, coyotes and tons of critters! We loved it! Can't wait to go back.

Gorgeous, Clean, Endless Amenities
High class decor, Fully stocked, and very thoughtfully set up for a comfortable and memorable vacation. My complaints are directed toward TURNKEY. We had no wi-fi access for 5 days, despite our call to Turnkey, although they boast about 24 hour response, they completely fell flat and did not respond at all. The last 2 days, there was an issue with the gas stove igniters which were going off on their own and leaking gas into the house....Turnkey refused to come out in a dangerous situation and had my husband take care of the problem by turning off the gas which meant I couldn’t prepare my planned meals for two days. Also there was construction to the home directly to the SE with continuous hammering, shouting, and machinery which ruined the peaceful atmosphere of the beautiful woodland outdoors. AGAIN, the actual “feel” and quality of this huge home is beyond excellent, but I am very displeased and disappointed with Turnkey ignoring a dangerous situation with gas and not responding to our requests to help us connect to wi-fi so we could enjoy the high tech sound system and use our devices during our stay. Turnkey is completely responsible for any negative feed back that turned an otherwise beautiful vacation into quite an upsetting and very distressful stay. My family stays in Big Bear to memorialize the death of a young family member who always wished to gather here for Thanksgiving but never had the chance.....so our stay is here is important and means more than a normal vacation.

The property was great, a beautiful home.. However I would not stay at at Turnkey Property again in the future. This was a large home and was $1300 for two nights. Their fee's for this totaled $944.33 - nearly as much as the price of the cabin. After being booked through AirBnB they required a phone call with questions in which I had to dial their generic number, wait on hold, then answer additional questions. Then stop by their office in person to "check in" - even though the rental was listed as keyless entry and I was supplied to the code well prior to check in, and was hassled about a pet fee after checking out in an animal friendly booking. Would not book with them again as it just created huge costs, time, and unnecessary hassle for an otherwise beautiful property.

Immaculate well furnished
My family stayed at this beautiful house for the weekend. There was plenty of room for 11 people. The skiers enjoyed being near the slopes. We really enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and yard for play in the snow. The kitchen was very well furnished, there were lots of games, and the beds were extremely comfortable.

We had an amazing time in this place. We enjoyed the cabin. Kids had plenty space inside and outside to play. They really enjoyed playing all day outside with the snow. Every year we try to get a better place to stay. This time it was even better because we had an excellent vacation time.

We come up every year for our family holiday. The entire family came to the conclusion that this was our favorite cabin weve stayed in. The home is spacious and the grounds are fantastic. the kids could sled right in the backyard. Plus your only steps away from the national forest and hiking.

Perfect Thanksgiving
What an amazing property. My husband and I build resorts and hotels so it is not easy for us to find a vacation rental we truly are impressed by. This home was the one that finally impressed us. The layout is great. Plenty of space for our group of 10 and yet cozy enough that we all weren’t separated. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and linens. It was so nice that no one had to share a room. Each adult had there own room and bathroom. We were all extremely impressed. For 3 days we said “Wow, what a GREAT cabin!”. We are definitely coming back in the summer and trying to plan another trip for December.
