This is our second year staying at this property! The area is gorgeous and quiet! You couldn’t ask for a better place to unwind and relax! Having the kayaks and pedal boat available for use made it that much more enjoyable! Monica is also an amazing host! She was in communication with us every step of the way and always answered our questions promptly! I highly recommend this property- We will definitely return for another stay!

Cute little cottage! Loved the ability to be on a lake and then drive to the ocean to enjoy the beaches! Enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboard to explore the lake. Enjoyed the local trail system to take a couple of small hikes.
There are neighbors very close to the property, which was unexpected. However, neighbors kept to themselves and were quiet, so our stay felt very private.
We had a few rainy days and would have liked to have a firestick or roku to be able to log into on our own account to stream more things for the kids.
The beds are super comfy, the kitchen was very well appointed, the cottage was nicely decorated, and neat and tidy. Overall, it was an excellent week and we can't wait to return next year!!

Genuinely enjoyed our time on the Pond. So relaxing! The view from the front yard is gorgeous & the house itself is Quintessential Maine Camp. Simple, tidy & cozy. The camp had l the basics we needed. We used the grill nightly, kids loved fishing right in front of the house & out on the paddle boat too! All around a wonderful experience.Thank you!! bass&pumpkinseeds, a

Cottage was very cozy and comfortable despite the heat and humidity. Grocery store, movie theater, bowling, restaurants all close by. We had a great stay.

The property was beautiful!! It was easy to find. Very comfortable and clean. If you enjoy tv you may want to bring a Roku as only movies available..but we made do. We used the paddle boat..and my family did lots of fishing..the cabin had plenty of room for 5 adults and an infant. Check was easy.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this cabin! It was clean and well supplied with everything we could need. The location was absolutely perfect! We were able to make trips into Kennebunkport and Ogunquit while Also enjoying the silence and solitude of lakeside living. We especially loved taking out the kayaks and stand up paddle board. We couldn’t have asked for a better time!

This was my husband and I’s very first Vacation Rental and we could not have been more pleased. We were looking for a quiet place to just relax and unplug for a few days and this exceeded our expectations! The cabin was perfectly described, clean and had absolutely everything we needed. You definitely won’t be disappointed with the cabin or the view! We did not utilize the kayaks or paddle board, but it certainly is a prime location for that! If you enjoy fishing, there is plenty of outdoor furniture to sit near shore and cast out a line. Having the fire pit was perfect for the cooler nights!
Monica is a spectacular host! She is very friendly, prompt to reply, and answered all of our questions! We even forgot an item and she has been more than accommodating to get it back to us. Overall, we will definitely use this rental again the next time we travel to Maine. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway!

This was an awesome place that we hope to come back to again! We used it as a late summer getaway with our teenagers before the craziness of college dropoffs. An easy 2 hours from Boston, on the waterfront, kayaks in good condition, local hikes nearby, check out Lord's Clam Box for a seafood dinner and Shain's of Maine for ice cream. The house was super clean. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen very efficient, living room great for playing board games. Only thing to note - you can swim right off the property, but it is very "weedy" so if that makes you squeamish, take the paddleboard and go out farther into the lake. It was a nice sandy bottom so it wasn't "squishy." The house is positioned at the top of the lake, morning sun. It's a great kayak ride up the river - turtles, herons, lots of birds.

We arrived at check in and the owners were there to greet us. They couldn't have been nicer even helping to bring in our things. We were introduced to the neighbors who are hot tickets themselves. Once we settled in we grilled some kabobs & rice with a cold beer. Sat around the fire pit enjoying the night. Fished every morning had some luck but it was all about the food. What are we eating next LOL Went To Shane's of Maine for the $10.00 lobster roll good deal also Johnson's steack & seafood very good also. Wasn't the best weather but we made the most of it. Would definitely rent again Thank you Sue & Dan

The pictures of the house don’t do it justice. The house is awesome, it’s roomy, quaint, and is what you want in a lake house.
The kayaking is great. So much to see on the lake and down the rivers. The fire pit is where it’s at. We spent a lot of time there.
The location is really great too. Close enough to the beaches and all that the coast offers yet far enough away to feel like you’re in the boonies.
The lone drawback is if you’re a water bug it’s not ideal for swimming. The lake is very grassy. Other than that I’d spend a week there again!

The property was beautiful and in a quiet area. We arrived after dark and needed Monica's help getting us to the right spot. She answered immediately and was super helpful. It was our mistake but she was great at talking us to the right spot 😂. It was a great experience.

Stayed here for a week with my family, 2 adults and 4 kids. They are little so they shared the large beds easily. The property is absolutely beautiful with incredibly easy access to the water! Perfect for the kids to go in safely because the water is shallow at the entrance. They were in the water the whole time swimming, kayaking and fishing! The property is only a short drive to so many beaches, hikes, etc. giving us the quiet relaxing getaway we wanted as well as the tourist experiences :) The home itself is sweet, with lots of windows allowing nice breezes throughout. washer/dryer not included, but only a short distance to laundromat. Tough with a large family, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat! wonderful trip!!

Excellent week
Enjoyed our stay at this property. The owners were always quick to respond and very helpful. Internet was down so we were unplugged for a week but that unexpectedly turned out to be a welcomed thing for more quality time with family who very much enjoyed the week. Monica and Marty are excellent hosts.
