We highly enjoyed staying at The Lodge. It was a great location and in walking distance to all of the shuttle services and main restaurants. The space was incredibly clean and provided all basic necessities. The listing noted a queen sized bed, although, we felt it was smaller. Overall, I would choose to stay here again.

Property is in great shape, orderly and clean. Great location to bike trails. Could not adjust temperature out side the bedroom. Bedroom had a window unit to regulate heat or air conditioner. Other then the bedroom, the bathroom and living room were very cold. Price was higher than it should be in our opinion as compared to other properties we have stayed in the area.

Had a short stay in Damascus. Enjoyed our time at the Lodge. It was perfect! I would definitely recommend this place!

Property was lovely, very clean and well-supplied, and the location to the Appalachian Trail and Virginia Creeper Trail is amazing! We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this property to anyone traveling to beautiful Damascus.

Beautifully decorated rooms, but malfunctioning central air conditioning in my unit (probably only in mine) made for an uncomfortably freezing stay. I recommend communicating with the owner to see if the problem has been remedied. The property manager did her best to adjust the system by bringing in a portable unit and turning down the house's AC from time to time. It also was disconcerting to find somebody else's prescription medicine under the couch and a $5 bill under the toaster. Check-in was annoying because I was made to find a specific quote in the property instructions while I was on a 9-hour drive.

This was extremely clean! When I had a question the property manager got back to us immediately. After we left they let us know we left something and they are mailing it to us!! It’s a great location for several outings. Would definitely recommend this place!

We loved the place and location was perfect

This place was really nice and even better than the pictures on VRBO. Right in the heart of town and walkable to everything. I rode on the Creeper Trail and did a trail run at Grayson Highlands. I also love hiking and the AT thru hikers are so inspiring. Had a great time chatting with a few at Damascus Brewery. The only minor and I mean really minor drawback to this unit (since there are 3 on the property), is you will hear footsteps above if someone’s renting it.

My wife and I visited Damascus to ride the Creeper Trail. This rental property is centrally located for shuttles, eating, and the trail. We enjoyed our stay very well and hope to do it again someday.

This is a great location just past the center of town. Quiet, cosy, and clean suite with all the comforts of home. We had everything we needed for our stay and would not hesitate to book this suite again.

Our stay was absolutely delightful.
As someone who cares a great deal about aesthetics, the place was adorable, clean, and conveniently located to the trail.
We will be back and will tell everyone we know about it (though we don't want it's popularity to be so great that we can't snag a stay).

The Lodge was lovely and beautifully decorated! The perfect location and size for my husband and I and within close proximity to the Creeper Trail for biking and Appalachian Trail to hike.

Very nice property, located across street from Bike Station, great place to stay if want to ride creeper trail, walk across street for bikes and then back when done
nice place, one minor issue, not worth mentioning other than to highlight how quickly Brittany (property manager) addressed it. Stuff happens, whats important is the response.
Definitely will stay again

Creeper Trail Ride Getaway
Lovely place with big front porch for relaxing. Perfect for a getaway for two, especially if you’re biking or hiking one of the many trails in the area. Kitchen is a bit limited but you’re not there to cook, you’re there to relax. Several restaurants within walking distance.
