Our family of six spent a great weekend here. The house was more than we needed. The beds were comfortable, coffee was provided and the house spacious. We enjoyed the backyard and deck for breakfast each morning with the beautiful view of the wooded valley leading down to the river. It's in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street that leads to a walking/biking trail system that takes you to the river and lake. We went to the rodeo and highly recommend this! We will stay here again if we come back to Fort Worth.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It was the perfect place for my family of 6 to watch the total solar eclipse! It is a clean & well-kept house in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The back patio has a beautiful view. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table & going down to the river!

We had a wonderful stay! Yang, our host, was great. He answered all my questions immediately. The back patio was much more than what the pictures show. The view was beautiful! The only thing we were disappointed in was that there were not TVs in every bedroom. Only the master. Thank you! The Pryor’s

We absolutely loved staying here! The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we were looking for. The outdoor patio would be wonderful if the weather would’ve been nicer. The property owner was extremely nice and super quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The house was lovely. My family & I really enjoyed our stay.

It was a nice place to stay near The Stock Yards

Don't waste your time looking at this listing as the photos/descriptions are completely misleading and the host is unwilling to help with any issues you will have. We lost THOUSANDS of dollars on this stay despite staying for only 2 hours.
Owner was COMPLETELY uncooperative and did not provide a refund or even partial refund even though we were completely mislead on the location, condition and "amenities" of this property. VRBO was not of any help whatsoever even after 3 phone calls.
A very brief summary of the issues:
We received the following message one hour before check-in: "I left my car in one of the garages because I don't feel comfortable to leave on the street.
The neighborhood is not gated and does not feel secure or safe at all.
The promised air conditioning in the unit was non-functional. Despite the hundred degree sweltering heat outside.. Even after turning the thermostat down upon arrival - the temperatures inside were nearly as unbearable as those outside two hours later.
The river was hundreds of yards down a steep embankment and completely full of algae and is absolutely not swimmable, nor would you even want to dip a toe in. This is NOT an amenity.
The cleanliness of the place was not anywhere near what a rental property should be.
Save yourself time and money and DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY.

Outstanding weekend visit at this beautiful home. Owner was great all around. Well appointed and fantastic location. We all enjoyed staying here, we only wish we could have stayed longer.

The views are spectacular and that’s as far as I can go to say something positive. The house shows wear, tear and years of neglect. All bedrooms are up 2 very narrow and steep staircases. The showers are all very poorly maintained, from slight drizzle to firehose stream. Wash everything before using them! You only get 2 rolls of toilet paper and if you call for more he’ll tell you he’s on his way and then you will be ghosted. The neighbors are not VRBO friendly so to them a party is 1 or more people outside. Which prompts a phone call from the owner telling you to take your “party” indoors. Only 1 towel per person and the drawers are filthy. Outdoor gas grill does not work and charcoal grill is filthy. The steep driveway is hard to maneuver in the dark so plan ahead. The living room is small so everyone is cramped sitting on extra chairs from the closet. The bathroom downstairs is only a toilet, no shower as indicated in the listing and the trundle bed doesn’t work . If you select to stay here, that’s on you, you’ve been fully warned.

Great views of sunset. Had perfect seats for JRB Fort Worth fireworks. Plenty of room for entire family. Close to shopping and convenient to Stockyards and Downtown. Upgrades I would recommend would be USB charging and good grill. Plenty of games for kids

Beautiful home and very accommodating owner. We will be back for another trip
to the Stockyards!

The property is on an amazing lot with a wonderful pathway down to a private lake.
After booking there were numerous warnings about "PARTIES" and people being outside. There were so many wRnings that it made it uncomfortable even enjoying the backyard and view.

This is a great house! Yang is an incredible host. He was responsive, stocked with drinks and k-cups, and set out towels. The beds are some of the most comfortable at any home. If you’re staying in the area, don’t hesitate to stay here!

Great views of the Trinity River & Lake Worth, the excitement of grandchildren catching their first fish, excitement of them exploring and playing in the fort. Sitting around the table talking and laughing with adults in the evening with some wine.

We had a pleasant trip. House was everything we needed and we had a house full.

Beautiful home with amazing views.

We comfortably fit 8 adults and 3 kids in the house for the weekend! The house was very clean and looked just like the pictures! The walk down to the river is well worth it! My kids had fun playing on the small slide. The playhouse may be suited more for older kids because the slide is steep and the swings were high. But we had a great time! We hope to come back!

Our group of 9 fit comfortably in this house. Beds were comfortable and house was conveniently stocked. Will definitely consider this house again if we have the same size group. Only 5 min from The Stockyard!

Instead of renting 5 hotel rooms, our team of 5 chose to stay in this 5 bedroom home and have a community area while at a work convention. The property was perfect for this and worked well for our needs. The only negative was the downstairs bedroom only has access to a half bath. The person had to come upstairs to shower, but it was not a huge inconvenience. We all enjoyed the easy to use TV [we used for music streaming] and Keurig machine. Also appreciated the flat and sparkling water stocked in the beverage fridge. Master bedroom bed was particularly comfortable!

We (a family of 5 ages 25-57) spent the weekend here while enjoying a concert and other festivities at the Fort Worth stockyards. The location of this home was perfect for getting to our destinations and the uber drives were quick and plentiful. The property itself was stunning with a beautiful backyard and path down to the trinity river (wear tennis shoes if you make the trek yourselves!). We enjoyed many a coffees, sunrises and sunsets from the patio seething. We were even lucky enough to watch airplanes taking off and landing from the nearby naval air force base. There was plenty of room inside to cook and converse with each other. The kitchen was well stocked as well as the coffee bar, drink fridge and pots and pans selection. Bedrooms were cozy and well provided for. As a family we have zero complaints with our stay and will be seeking out this property again next time the chance arises!

We had a great time at this beautiful home. The view is spectacular and it’s in close proximity to all the fun spots. The owner is a text away which is always good.
We had fun

Sadly, this property did not meet our expectations. Upon arrival (20 minutes after check-in time), the property owners were still at the home repairing an outdoor staircase which is supposed to lead to the river. They worked for an additional half hour, left to get more supplies, returned to the house, and continued working on the staircase. They left before sundown - without completing the staircase. We tried walking down to the river the next morning only to find an uncompleted staircase to nowhere. Later that afternoon, a random man came to the door asking for access to the house so that he could take some measurements. The owners did not tell us to expect anyone, so we denied him access.
As for cleanliness - the home was NOT clean. There were too many burned out lightbulbs to count, random screws found on tabletops around the house and on the den mantel piece, the driveway and walkway were covered in leaves, the backyard "landscaping" was a mess, there were spider webs in multiple ceiling corners (especially in the downstairs powder room), there was a used Q-tip on a shelf in the master closet, which as a whole was filthy, door handles to the master closet were missing leaving obvious holes where they should have been, the kitchen countertops were dirty and had dried on food on them and the absolute worst - a used condom rapper under the bed in one of the second floor bedrooms. (I left it where I found it - the owners can handle that!!)
The light over the toilet in one bathroom was inoperable - it flickered, then went dark.
Despite its awkward layout, this home is a nice size and can accommodate large groups - and the view of the river is nice (and I suppose if the outdoor staircase had been usable, we would have found a nice path down so we could have experienced the trails and the river). And the coffee and tea bar were well stocked. But, I'm afraid that that is where my compliments end. I would not stay at this property again.

Yang,
You have a beautiful home! We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Fort Worth.
I wish the weather was nicer though so we could have taken advantage of your new trail to the river and enjoy your outdoor grounds. The view was gorgeous with all the fall colors. Thank you
Thank you

First impression, the driveway was very steep, the landscape was in terrible shape. I am a gardener so that means something to me. Once inside the home, it was clean, smelled good and was well stocked. The stairs are a bit steep. The owner was very responsive to our needs and answered quickly.

The views were outstanding. Three generations enjoyed eating dinner together watching the spectacular sunsets. This home is clean, well-stocked, and has comfortable beds. Our grandsons will have fond memories of fishing with Grandpa down at the river.

Big house and lots of room. The house was clean and the backyard is awesome! 15 minute drive to the stockyard. Very quiet neighborhood. A good place to stay!

Everything went very smoothly.

A group of us girls went from work for a convention in Dallas. The location was convenient and even close enough for an affordable Uber ride to the stockyards downtown Fort Worth. The house had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. It’s hard to find a house with enough rooms for all of us, but this house exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay again if ever in this area in the future.

Stunning home and wonderful hosts
My wife and I stayed at Yang's home recently for three weeks. It is a stunning property for the following reasons:
1. Spacious
2. Great layout with many rooms for different uses (quiet reading place, plenty of sleeping options, socializing, etc.)
3. Stunning views of the nearby river and lush valley below - the photos are great, but reality is even better.
4. Beautifully-designed outdoor spaces - we loved lounging on the outdoor furniture. We didn't use the grill but that's also a nice touch.
5. Very quiet, fairly secluded location; much nicer than the nearby homes leading to this rental.
Yang himself is a gem of a host. When he heard we were traveling with an infant, he promptly provided a crib and also high chair, both game changers. The home is well-appointed, and we really felt. "at home."
If you're considering this home, don't hesitate. Its truly phenomenal.
